Lol and we get Dolphins vs Jets down here in South Florida...don't feel too bad for us though...it's 75, not at all humid and sunny with a light breeze, dropping into the upper 50s at night recently...we'll be ok

I just about spit my drink out......yep, we have Fins vs Jets OR as an added option.....Indy vs Tampa.  Looks like Red Zone on Sunday

Really hoping for a trade up for DK at this point but there’s a ton of talent left. We should be very happy with who is available at 40 if we stay there.

I still can’t believe Ed Oliver fell to us at #9......Now we need our big guy at TE or WR.   If a trade gets it done, Beane will work his magic!

  3. Im quite baffled with some of the mock drafts out there.....trading back with Miami, are you kidding me???

Back to your post now.....All along Ive been hoping for more weapons for Josh, and first choice up to now has been DK Metcalf. BUT, Ive given much thought as to what position AFC rivals hurt us the most.... when they have the ball.....what player on the Pats has hurt us the most not named Brady?   Gronk.  I also don’t believe the hype that a TE isnt ‘worth’ such a high pick.  I hope we go TE with #9....but Id bet the field.

Less than 3 weeks out from the draft and there's a lot of rumors and smoke, most of which is nonsense, some though truth.

And it's my belief that the Bills would like to trade down in this years draft.  Of course they're doing work on a lot of the top 10 guys, as they should, you always have to be prepared to pick a guy at your spot.....but like I said if they had it their way I think they'd love to move down and pick up another premium pick.  This sentiment has been tossed around by a few of the twitter guys I think tend to have good info, Eric Galko being one of them.  That brings me to the 2 teams I think might mesh with the Bills desire to move down:

    The Raiders and the Giants.

I think both teams would love to take a premium non QB player with their top pick, and then use their second 1st round pick as part of a package to move up and get their QB.  The kicker is I don't think either team wants Haskins.....I think it's Daniel Jones and/or Drew Lock that'll be the guy that goes at #9 if the Bills are able to pull off a trade down.  Here's how a potential trade down with both of these teams could look:

TRADE w/ Giants: Giants get: #9 & #74 (worth 1570 pts. on the draft trade value chart)

                                     Bills get: #17, #37 & #95 (1600 pts.)

    TRADE w/ Raiders: Raiders get: #9 & #112 (1420 pts.)

                                      Bills get : #24 & #27 (1420 pts.)

I'd love either of these scenarios, as I'm always a fan of trading down.  I think we have a good chance 3 weeks from now!

Giants or Raiders wouldn’t bite on that

Oh I don't think Beane is done either. I'm just pointing out I don't think he's interested in DK. Beane never will show his hand...& bringing in a rookie prospect twice ... is sort of doing that. Unless you want everyone to take notice because your really not that interested

Quite possible BUT the other side of the coin,  they made sure everyone knew they don’t buy into a true #1 WR too.....either way I like Beane and his ‘style’......as long as they stay at #9, going up costs too much.

Allow me to add a little more content to this thread. I'm thinking the Bills are not intrested in DK... this is the biggest smoky of the smokiest of smoke screens even created! ????

That fact that they brought him in for a 2nd pre draft... means they have someone else in mind. I could be wrong... & I'm the biggest #DKToTheBills trooper on this forum.

Ive got a feeling Beane isn’t quite ready to call it a wrap on building the offense and giving Josh every possible weapon for an explosive  unit.  DK would seal the deal for YEARS to come.

    They will trade up.

Way too many picks. Go for quality not quantity.

The obvious is round 2 and beyond but you never know.

Yeah I agree and hope we stand pat or move up with our #9.  There is no need to move back in Round 1, get your blue chipper.

I wouldn't give up our 1st next year in a trade down for Bosa...but if he dropped for that reason and got close enough...I would inquire on what the price would be.  I would take him with our 9th and not think twice about it if he were there.  I really don't see this happening anyways.

Not likely Bosa falls passed #3, but who knows.  A perfect scenario for me is to stick with #9, OR trade up if OUR GUY can be had without selling the farm....losing our 2nd or next years first is off the table IMO. Package some picks and get another pick in the 3rd round.

I see the Bills taking the best OT/DL at #9 then trading up to the bottom of 1st round and taking the position they missed at #9. Like DT Oliver at 9, and OT Dalton Risner. The last two drafts MCBeane moved around I see more of that.

I agree with your take at #9 ...but it sure would be hard to pass on Metcalf, Hockenson or Fant if they were available at #9.

You don't think any of that is related to talent, do ya?

Sure I do. Could you imagine what our run game could be with Shady and Ivory IF the D wasn’t waiting for them? Go get a WR.....use picks whatever.  Give Josh a target, its not rocket science. In the meantime Daboll needs to be more imaginative.  I gotsto go....everybody have a great day!

Again, how is this all Daboll''s fault?  How does this make him the worst OC in the league?  You, like so many others here, are so unbelievably quick to throw people under the bus, but you have no basis for your overreactions.  You just want to sound like you know everything.

Not at all.  Simply stated and At THIS point in time his ‘numbers’ rank him last. He needs to crank it up a notch (my point) because we wont win alot of games scoring 12pts. I want Daboll to succeed.

You have no idea what you're talking about.  How can he "air it out" without a single WR that can outrun the defense?  Foster might have wheels but he can't catch a cold.  Daboll runs plenty of crossing patterns.  Are you blind?

Yeah, I don’t know a thing about football.....Lets say we agree to disagree. Look I know Daboll is playing a ball control game, rookie QB, no burners at WR, but if our D didn’t play lights out and get turnovers we lose that Titans game. Green Bay shutout.....opponents D dont have a hard time drawing up a game plan against us, and was my point. BTW.....20/30 vision without my wisdom glasses.
