  1. Carlos Hyde would be a solid add of cheap. Ideally we’d go in to camp with 3 solid RBs. Someone always gets hurt throughout the year and it would be nice to not have to rely on a Taiwan Jones or TJ Yeldon to take snaps.

    Singletary

    Hyde

    Akers/Moss

Would be a pretty solid group.

  2. I know people hate on the idea but I’m not totally against it. here is why:

    - familiarity

    - if Josh Allen goes down, our season is toast. I know this is true for many teams but not many teams have cap flexibility to add a quality QB.
    - if healthy Cam is about as good as JA can hope to become.
    - our roster is ready to compete. I like Josh Allen. He’s proven to be decent to this point. Lots of warts in his game make him a bit of an Unknown in terms of leading a team to a super bowl. Cam Newton health permitted has been an MVP level QB. A few years removed from the MVP seasons but I wouldn’t put it past him just yet to have success.

I understand the negatives. And I personally don’t see it happening. But if it did I wouldn’t be too shocked. I also wouldn’t be too shocked to see Cam steal the job if healthy. I feel people have forgotten just how good Cam Newton has been in his career.

  3. We really need to improve the offense. Give Allen more options.

I'd really like a TE like Hooper. A healthy Hunter Henry would've been really nice but he got tagged.

Melvin Gordon could be an interesting buy low if  his market isn't what he expected.

Robby Anderson is another guy that could prove to be a quality signing depending on money. He seems to have calmed down since his arrest a few years ago.

Allen has improved as has his supporting cast. To really see if he has what it takes to get to the next level we need to give him a bit more to work with. Our run game was pretty bad. Our o-line seems to have some continuity and should get some more depth this offseason. We lack a couple of playmakers. A good TE and RB would really open up our offense imo.

  4. We're really counting on Dawson Knox to develop further if we're signing Olsen. Would be a solid vet signing and probably help Knox quite a bit.

For all the people saying to spend on Austin Hooper i think we have a similar one in Knox. Roughly same size, 3rd rounders. Knox had more receiving yards in his rookie year albeit with a far worse catch%. Though having Matt Ryan throw to you in your rookie season might help a bit.

How much does Hooper cost in FA? How about Olsen?

  5. Our defense has been pretty great. Id like to see more pressure from the ends and figure that will be a target for us next offseason. Lawson and Murphy are good rotation ends but would be nice to have someone with more impact. Good thing with them is you can keep the line fresh without having much drop off in play. Give me a stud pass rusher if possible.

  6. Not going to lie. Beane should try and take advantage of this time that Allen is on a rookie deal. Melvin Gordon would be a hell of an add to this team. He'd add another dynamic to the team we haven't seen in over a decade.

Another guy to watch out for could AJ Green.

Imagine both? What a complementary group of WRs that would be. Brown- Burner, Beasley- slot, Green- red zone target. Add Gordon to that... Jeez.
