You were only limited to 3 points once before this year vs. the Pats. I'm sure it has nothing to do with our overrated D and everything to do with Blake's incredible offensive prowess.

I simply pointed out that it is pretty ridiculous to call the Jags D overrated when they just took your lunch money. I get that your raw and emotional, but that is just a false statement. 1) - You still lost. But the D is overrated.. okay. 2) - Watch it again and you can see the defender caused the receiver to not catch the ball. 3) - He was also under duress the whole game, but I know you don't like to give this defense credit. 4) - Maybe. But I've heard that before on this forum. As for our team's flaws, they are glaring. If Blake Bortles was dropped off at the pound, I am not sure he would get adopted. I hope your fans that came to Jax enjoyed themselves. I will try not to lump your entire passionate fan base in with the hooligans that destroyed things at one of the bars that hosted you or the sour grapes crowd that destroyed things/set things on fire around the stadium after the game. Overall, I thought it was a well fought game by both teams. We may lose next week. We may win too. That's why we play the games. Congrats on a great season and please don't snag one of the QBs I covet in the draft next year. Because both of these teams are built for a run at the hardware with competent QB play.

The Bills scored 3 points. TT was 17 for 37 with a pick and 2 sacks. As bad as the Bills offense was today, Jacksonville's looked worse and they still won. You making this statement is pretty ridiculous.

This is what a friendly rivalry should be about. Scrolled through all of these (not just the highlights) and laughed quite a bit. Good friendly banter with both team's fans giving it to each other without getting hateful or personal.

Our mayor is a coward and a phony. My guess is he did not think local Mayport shrimp would travel well, but I agree subs are a pretty terrible bet. And even the locals are pretty turned off by the teal burger buns. (Who wants to eat/pass that?)

I would say both teams are flawed, but both are also good enough to be in the postseason, so neither can be as bad as one may think. BELIEVE ME... as a survivor of the Gabbert era, watching Blake and Gus lose in record fashion these past few years has left an impression. You can hide a lot of weaknesses if you have a great QB. When you have an average or below average QB, your warts will show. Neither of us has a great QB. With a great QB, both of our teams could be an extremely tough out for any team left. My confidence may be viewed as ill-advised by Bills fans, but I like our chances with some of the guys coming back and with Coughlin's oversight of this week's game plan. What worries me is that Yeldon has an illness which apparently also may have O'Shaughnessy as questionable. Like kindergarten, I feel if someone is "the class" is sick, they should be forced to stay home.

Technically DeShaun played the 2nd half in Week 1. He was 12-23 for a TD and an INT to go with the 4 sacks he took. Look.. I get it. You don't believe. As someone who has seen this franchise perrenially playing the role of Lucy Van Pelt holding the snap for Charlie Brown, my faith has been shaky over the years too. But I have all the confidence in the world that the offensive game plan will be much less vanilla than what you may have seen the last two games.

I think him being named HC is the best thing that could have happened for this team. Gus Bradley was a player's coach to the degree the team was not playing to their potential. Players griped at how grueling our training camp was, but weeks later said it better prepared them for the season. He will be here a while. He has been extremely good with the local press. Coughlin is also there, so players are very disciplined in the building. He did ok in New York with "today's pro game." This team under Gus was coddled and soft. Now they are starting to play up to their potential and it is starting to show on the field. As the saying goes, "Welcome to Duval. Prepare to be hit." No seriously, I hope you enjoy your trip and our city. Stay away from the northside, the westside and downtown and you should be golden.

Neither was I. Have a hunch you will see a much different team on Sunday. Just curious where this came from? I have always felt that any fan for any team who goes to games to pick fights is doing a disservice to their fan base and their team. On the whole, I find our fans to be fairly cordial. Even sitting here in the lion's den, I try to be respectful. I don't assume every Bills fan is a donkey. As someone who has been on our team's primary message board for over a decade, I can attest there are a few there I could do without. I would hope you don't judge our fans by a few loudmouths.

This defense is one of the best I have ever seen. They are so good they cover a lot for the offense. Like you we try to be a ball control offense and a smothering defense. I would say we both try to emulate the 2000 Ravens. Not sure either of us is there yet, but when this team gets a QB who is not named Blake, look out. This year... we have had stretches where we were straight dominant. To your point.. dominant teams do it week in and week out and I can think of a couple losses we should have notched as W. This made me literally LOL.. We really like him. I am sorry for whatever he did up there that he refuses to discuss. I don't know enough to have an opinion on that other than it certainly was odd to leave like he did. The speculation was he was going to go to the Jets and got the rug pulled out from under him, but I have no idea what the story is there.

If you're good enough to be in the playoffs.. and we're good enough to be in the playoffs.. does the record really matter? The Giants took down New England twice with 9 win teams. If you're gonna tell me they weren't even that good either, I will say you are just trolling me. We're here. We're obviously both friggin' thrilled about it. Let's get it on! Win or lose, I'll be back late Sunday to get your take on whether they have earned your respect.

2 games with 10 sacks. 8 INTs against Russell Wilson and Big Ben. Flacco had a QBR of 0.8, the 5th lowest of any QB in a decade. Opponents scored 10 or fewer points in 8 of our 16 games. Every member of our starting secondary has at least 4 INTs. But we just aren't dominant... you guys are hard to please.

Marrone and Hackett have been in Jax for the same amount of time they were in Buffalo.. but I am sure you know them better. Marrone is such a mediocre coach, he got your team to 9 wins for the first time in years and is coaching a home playoff game with Blake Bortles as his QB. I'm no expert, but I think your bias may be clouding your grasp on reality. This team, led by a defense that is very potent, has 7 wins by 16 or more points. You did that once this year. They have embarrassed QBs much better than Tyrod Taylor. And we have Tom Coughlin who won two Super Bowls with 9 win teams overseeing everything in the building. So yeah.. I can feel good about our chances. Spoiler: If/when the Bills lose by more than the spread, your opinion of the Jags will still be that they are overrated. That is called cognitive dissonance.

As someone who has watched every snap of every game this season, I can tell you that the playcalling got extremely vanilla once the playoffs were clinched with very few downfield shots or crossing patterns. Coincidentally, a lot of injuries piled up around this time too. The SF game was our second game in a row played with three rookie wideouts. Of course, Marrone wanted to win in Tennessee. But he was trying to win with execution, not scheme. And the way we have been able to win a lot of games is by finding mismatches in the passing game (that weak link you guys love to bash). I would expect us to try to take shots on your nickel CB on Sunday. If the Jags were in the AFC East, you would not have made the playoffs. I can take it. I know the fan base's bark is not as big as your team's bite. And it's all in good fun.

I think there are an incredible amount of similarities between these two teams, but I think Jax has the better total roster. If Blake doesn't turn the ball over, I do not see the Jags losing this game. Tyrod isn't exactly a TD machine and he gets sacked a lot. The thing that actually worries me the most is the defensive scheme you run as it has given Blake issues in the past. I think once the Jags clinched the post season, they trimmed the playbook down to save some things for the playoffs. Everybody knows Blake needs to play like he was in early December for this team to make any sort of run. When he makes good decisions, he is not nearly as awful as some make him out to be, and he is more dangerous with his legs than a lot of people give him credit for.

Your brimming self-confidence is duly noted. Should you want to thank whomever beat the Ravens in September, you're welcome. Our offense vs. your defense shouldn't probably scare you. The truth is our defense has been so dominant they have set our offense up and in some games just taken over the game. The Bills offense ranked 29th in scoring and is going against a defense that gave up the second fewest points per game all year. That should be the story line of the game. In order to win, I think the Bills will need to sustain long drives, make explosive plays or wait for the Jags to make a mistake that can be capitalized on. I think some Bills fans are too caught up on the possibility of that last scenario happening than focusing on how they first two will take place against this defense. Stopping the run to put the pressure on Blake is the same game plan every team has had for three years. The Bills have been one of the least successful defenses when it comes to stopping the run. The Jags are getting back some key players this week who I think will help to do enough for the offense to keep the clock moving. If the Jags need to play a field position game, we are comfortable with that as we believe our defense will do what it needs to to give the offense more chances. If the Jags get up by two scores, the game is all but over as teams commonly abandon the run and play to our defensive strengths.
