He's made some nice deep throws but his underneath accuracy is atrocious.  He is part of the reason that the oline gives up pressure, he holds onto the ball way too long.  He scrambles because his vision is poor and that is obvious if you watch all 22.  The thing is, good QBs can throw their wide receivers open like Peterman's back shoulder throw to Benjamin yesterday down the sideline.  He let the big fella make a play.  He trusted him.  Tyrod wouldn't dare make that pass.  He's too conservative.  He'd hold onto the ball on that play and then the oline would break down after several seconds, Tyrod would wheel out and scramble for a handful of yards.  That's what he does.  He doesn't see the field well and doesn't use his weapons the way they are intended to be used.

Its Tyrods fault the o line cant pass block? Really? So what happened to NP at LAC? Did he hold the ball too long too and still throw 5 picks?

Do good QB's throw for under 100 yards in any game they're not injured? How about multiple times a season? Do good QB's lead only 1 TD drive in the 1st quarter all season? Do good QB's that have been in the league for 7 years have ZERO 300+ yard passing games? Do good QB's lead the league in 3 & outs? Do good QB's have 3-20 records when going down by a single point in the 4th quarter? Who cares if he throws a couple bombs a season... Those receivers don't put up big numbers or anything, so it's not consistent. Sammy Watkins is the only receiver under Tyrod to ever break 1,000 yards, and he only BARELY did it with 1048.

He only throws to guys downfield who are open on all sides of the ball by a mile. Do good QB's throw 2 yard dump pass after 2 yard dump pass on 3rd & long every time? Blame Dennison all you want, just like you guys blamed Hackett & blamed Roman, but it's up to the players to execute. He has options, but CHOOSES to go for the outlet pass as his PRIMARY option. Dennison doesn't force him to ignore his reads and dump to the RB every play...nor does Dennison make him hold onto the ball and not see open receivers. Dennison also doesn't make him throw it behind people, at their feet, or 10 yards over their head.

And don't even dare say Tyrod doesn't get 300 yard games because we're a run based offense, and he doesn't get many passing attempts...Such a myth & disregard for facts it's ridiculous. He'd have more passing attempts if he was on the field more! You know why he's not? Because he doesn't even try to throw to the 1st down marker on 3rd down! He can't get attempts when he goes 3 & out drive after drive and is stuck sitting on the bench. The only teams that tell their fans they are a run-based offense that relies on defense & field position are the teams without a good QB! It's by necessity, not by choice. All the coaches we've had, and all the coordinators that call these plays HAVE to try to focus on the run because they know how limited Tyrod is. He simply cannot execute when called upon

Most of your 'facts' are fallacies if you really look at the stats. We often scored on our 1st drive last year. The idiot calling the plays gameplan and scheme have a yuuuuuge effect on the outcome. If you cant see that and wanna blame that on one player when NP couldnt score vs the pats either idk what to tell you other than wipe the agenda out of your eyes. The guys gone next year but were still gonna be stuck with a trash bin OC. Its like you watched this season and forgot about 2015 and 2016. Ive never seen Tyrod throw it short like this season and the stats back that up. Keep pumpin your fallacies and caping for a garbage OC and garbage 5th round rook bc you dont like the average to below average qb on the team.

  2. Some of mcderms decisions piss me off but overall im impressed withwhat hes been able to do after getting rid of most our talent and fixing the secondary. Time management and game situation decisions should improve since hes a rookie hc. I hope he has the stones to can Dennison at the end of the season tho. Hope we have a more creative OC to develop our 1st round rook QB

I've watched Tyrod throw...I've watched his conservative play.  I've watched him blatantly miss wide receivers every single game.

So have i, which means youve also seen Tyrod throw amazing long bombs on target to WRs that get seperation and beat coverage,  youve also seen him make throws deep middle to clay and o leary, and youve seen him bail out this o line and make chicken salad out of chicken sht in remarkable sand lot highlight plays that noodle arm petermen couldnt make if he was playing madden, and youve seen him throw 50/50 balls to watkins for tds and huge gains and sick deep out throws to everyone from woods to Goodwin. You can point out his flaws but dont ignore the good parts of his game and the effect this terrible oc and ol scheme has had on the WHOLE OFFENSE.

He went for two 4th down conversions in yesterday's game alone

Do you think he would have made those calls if the weather wasnt crazy? Lol were talkin about a 4th and 1. He went for it earlier on 4th and longer than 1 and failed twice. It was a bad decision the fact he had tie on his mind if u watch the presser just confirms it. We need to think win at that stage. A tie is the same as losing at this point

Dude your turning off the game saga in the gdt was hilarious. I was banned to comment but it had me dying in my delorean dmc12. Had to laugh cuz i knew u were gonna turn the game back on, the bbfs was too strong to not come back for more abuse

Tyrod has led a Bills offense that has scored 3 points too many times this year.  I'm sure he will be the starter but he is nothing to come to the defense of.  Multiple 3 point performances on offense this year against any team is disturbing.  Cannot wait until he is out of Buffalo.  He is the epitome of mediocrity and it is painful to watch him throw the ball at times

Idk bro how many 3 point performances did he have last 2 year with 2 diff OCs? Do you have any evidence to support its NOT Dennisons play calling and scheme? Cuz im pretty sure NP failed miserable with Dennisons coaching and this roster too.

I watch the entire league every week. But I'm a Bills fan and only a Bills fan. I also highly dislike the NJ Giants and love watching them in their Cleveland Browns state that they are currently in.

Meh. I moved to jersey after leaving Buffalo in 93, those are my teams and im unapologetic about it, it is what it is.

Just saw a clip from McCowns presser. He was real let down he got hurt. Seemed like he was playing real hard for the players in the locker room. McCown showed a lot of character in that moment. My respect for McCown as a professional and a leader just went up.

What do you think happens if we win and make the playoffs?

They cut Tyrod, sign a journeyman qb and draft a qb high.

I honestly never went back and reviewed the all 22 on this game. When 7-8 d-men are coming at you someone is 1 on 1 constantly. A QB has to take the snap and fire the ball almost immediately to the 1:1 coverage. Eventually, if successful enough the D will back the hell up and your running game will open up again. As a QB he has to recognize this and understand this. Holding the ball and running around like a fool does almost nothing but waste time or leads to 7 sacks.

You might not want to look at it. Its gonna be depressing to see our wrs during that time of the season couldnt beat simple man coverage and get seperation by the time the rush got home.

I think it's gonna be the best QB on the board when we get to our first pick in the first round, whether that's ours or KC's.  I think we need the other first rounder for ... well, fill in the blank.  WR, LB, DL, OL, CB.  Basically the only position on the team that doesn't need more good players is RB and even then we should be looking for Shady to start losing it.  So I don't think we can package a lot of draft picks to move up a couple of slots.

I'm not sold on Mayfield, who seems to be a good cog in a great machine and not necessarily a great QB on his own.

Right. I guess well see as its gonna be beanes 1st draft running things. It should tell us if he lets the board come to him or trades up for who he wants.

  10. 1 minute ago, Real McCoy said:

Very true JM and I agree that the O-line looked shaky. The Jets rushed the crap out of him on purpose and played to shutdown McCoy. It's not a very hard D gameplan or blueprint anymore to stop TT's game in it's track. To sit here and say he played well is pretty absurd when he did all but squat except 1 drive in 3QTS, fumbled twice and took 7 sacks.

    Dr, Jekyll

They had no respect for our WRs beating the outside.  That is also relative. Tyrod looked like the only player trying that day. Hes not good enuff to wi without a run game and slow wrs with no separation and no hands and a wet toilet paper o line. There are plenty games Tyrod dropped the ball but that game wasnt it.

  11. 1 minute ago, DocLawless said:

There is evidence however of tyrod not being able to score or even move the ball against most teams he has faced this season. Probably why Mcdermott* (fixed it for you), and I imagine the coordinators, were ready to see what anyone else could possibly do. Even a 5th round rookie. Thats how bad Tyrod has been at times this season.

No.  If Tyrod and the 5th round rook cant score then whats the common factor there? Dennison. Wake up mcfly. We were top 10 in scoring for 2 years before McEgo and Dennidummy got here to screw up the offense.

Chargers winning AFC West may actually keep us out of the playoffs.

Let's say Bills going 9-7 are a constant. (I know, I know, we never win the last few games we need to, but bear with me)

There are 4 teams we can realistically catch for a wildcard.

    Titans 8-5

    Ravens 7-6

    Chiefs 7-6

    Chargers 7-6

Odds are that 3 of those 4 teams make it to 9-7. Just given how schedules look. Let's ignore the Ravens for now because they have a cake schedule.

If the Titans lose 2, we get in at 9-7 so long as Chiefs beat the Chargers.

This is because we are favored in the 3 way tie breaker scenario (H2H against Chargers does not come into play.)

However if the Titans lose 2, and the Chargers beat the Chiefs, then we lose the wildcard berth

This is because KC is favored in the 3 way tie breaker scenario (H2H against Chiefs does not come into play.)

So Chiefs beating the Chargers would mean it doesn't matter if the Chargers win their remaining two so long as the Titans or Ravens are tied with us as well.

The Chargers beating the Chiefs would mean that we would need the Titans or Ravens to both be at less than 9-7 (or Chiefs to lose 2 of next 3) in order to not lose the 3 way tie to the Chiefs.

Holy fck tht is confusing. Youre right about 3 way tiebreakers being different tho

Maybe instead of 65 yards and 3 points, Tryod will throw for 70  and score 6 points and we will still be knocked out of the playoffs...two can play that game.  I actually find it funny that Peterman had a better game through 2 and a half quarters in a foot of snow and only on 10 passes than Tyrod did in perfect conditions the week before and against the Saints haha. I'd rather see if Peterman can learn from his mistakes.  His pass to Benjamin down the sideline was a pass Tyrod has never even attempted or maybe he has attempted it but just sailed an uncatchable ball out of bounds. I'd rather see Peterman play than another 3 point performance by a Tyrod led offense...

The saints are a much better team. Foot of snow or not indy is the worst passing defense in the league so ur argument is meh. There is no evidence supporting Tyrod not being able to score vs the phins. Hes 2-2 vs the phins with one of his best games coming in a loss. NP cant wash Tyrods jockstrap. Thats why the whole country laughed at mcdumb@ss for making the switch while still in playoff contention.  You know why kc are perrenial playoff teams and afc contenders? Cuz they dont make stupid moves like the one ur suggesting.
