  1. I know we feel like we should beat the Patriots twice a year, every year, but other than Kansas City, no one sweeps their divisions these days.  Brady is gone but Belichick has been a thorn in our side for even longer... he's not the worst coach in the league, even though their team was smoked two weeks straight.  He knows our team and coaching staff pretty well.

Tough loss, we're 4-3, hardly out of it, even though we have things to work on.  If the Bills reel off 4-5 straight wins, against stiffer competition, we'll all be singing a different tune.  Don't tell me it can't happen.  I've been watching football for a long time, it happens regularly.

    See you guys Thursday night!

  2. Thought we were going to steal this one at the end but it didn't work out.

Oh well... maybe this year we get in as a wildcard, play hungry, and do some damage.  I'm not writing the season off yet and the division is hardly out of reach.  I sorta expected this today.  Felt like the game could go either way.

I think our defense starts to gel... maybe not elite, but able to play a solid football game.  Offense leans to use Kincaid and Cook underneath and abandons shotgun runs.  Lots of season left.

  4. Jests fans will feel no pity for us over injuries, nor will anyone else... and that's fine.  It's only week five and as others have posted, every team will have to deal with this at some point.  I know we won't just replace White or Milano, but it is what it is.  We still have our star QB and lots of talent on this roster.  In a few weeks, we will be back to threads talking about #1 seeds and the MVP race again.

I don't like to go to other teams' fan forums, but was curious what Jagoff fans were posting.

They are most excited but lamenting that their defense, while getting it done today, isn't "elite"... and one poster wanted to point out that Ridley made clutch catches today, calling it "redemption".  Another guy asked if everyone was back on board after saying that their team sucked a couple of weeks ago.

Sound familiar?  This will be us again after a win against the Giants next week.  It's an up and down season and this week, we're in the valley.

I blame myself. As a UK Bills fan of 35 years, I remember seeing the 1990 London game (which the Bills won). I've been over to Buffalo 6 times and the Bills have won every game I've seen. The only time I'd seen the Bills lose was 8 years ago when I took my family to see the Jags game. Today I took my family to see the Jags game - and we lost. Next time my family stays at home!

NOW we know who to blame for that loss eight years ago!  Just make sure you leave the unlucky family at the house, go to the rest of this season's games, and we'll be good.  :D

Sounds good… who exactly has a premium LB they want to trade ???

I don't know what the Broncos have but I read they'll listen to trade offers for any player on their defense.  I know their defense hasn't been very good but maybe they have some one that could help us?

The Josh should have dated a bigger movie star. I have a feeling that the Chiefs won't lose a game with Taylor Swift in attendance, at least if the league can halp it.

Carrie Underwood cost Tony Romo a year.  Maybe Kelce falls in love, gets dumped, has Swift write a grammy-winning album about how awful he is, and his play goes to sh!t.  ;)

its not like this team has a history of piss poor performances either…..

I don't think that's fair.  Having followed those awesome years in the 90s and surviving the playoff drought and New England domination, I'm thrilled to have this team to pull for.  The offense didn't show up until the game was all but over and we were still in it, even with the defense decimated by injuries.  It used to be that McDermott gets blown out in losses, now the criticism is he loses close games.

We've lost some games but won lots more than we've lost with McDermott... and we've been playoff favorites for the last few years.  Having suffered through Brady's Pats and looking up at a deeper Chiefs roster, I think some fans compare and see anything less than doing what those teams did/do as failure.  We won't be out of the playoffs by Halloween and for that, I'm happy.

This team will make the playoffs and might win it all... just have to see how it plays out.  We've got one of the best QBs in the game, lots of really good position players, and a very good defensive minded coach.  Having to fight harder might make this team tougher and more dangerous.
