  1. What do we think about trying to sign him to a two year contract. Would immediately become our #2 receiver and take the heat off of Diggs while giving us a solid #2 receiver. We may even be able to then trade Davis. Thoughts???

Even if the Chiefs have an 85% chance to win each game they play, the probability that they win six straight games to finish the season is only 38%.

Anyone who claims the race for the one seed is over, the Chiefs won’t lose again, etc., doesn’t understand probabilities.

But that works both ways. The Bills have one of the hardest remaining schedules in the NFL at a opponents winning % of 56.1%, slightly below the Dolphins, Jets and patriots. And they play 5 out of the last 6 games against opponents with a winning record, the hardest in the league along with Miami. By contrast, the Chiefs play opponents with a 36.9% winning % and only play 2 teams with a winning record the rest of the way. It will take a miracle for the Bills to pass the Chiefs'. Honestly, at this point, I just want them to win the division which will be tough. They still have a good shot at the #2 seed, but even that is much in question.

Go Bills! It's going to be an interesting last 6 weeks of the year. Injuries and that Minnesota nightmare may cost us........

No it really doesn't. Julio is a beast and I would have loved to see the Bills get him but people will overreact to him going to the Titans.

Top tier is still the same.. KC Buf Cle and maybe Bal.

All this does is give the Titans a better chance to win their division and moves them into the second tier with Ind, LA, NE, Mia.

Really! Look what the Titans did to the Bills last year. it wasn't even close. This will make them more dangerous in the playoffs, but at least they are not in our division, but we have to play them during the year which will make that matchup even tougher for us.

Major influx of Youth and talent at DE with the early double dip. This put Addison Gone. And maybe even a Harrison Phillips on notice with Rousseau moving inside on passing downs.

this will allow a youth movement in a position group that needed it. I also think the double dip (after signing in the position in UFA) puts Hughes on the Block.

No way!  He’s our best pass rusher. What team have you been watching? But he is at the end of his career do hood move to draft his replacement after this year or next

should be fun.  Looking to come up for a game this year.   time to bring back the 70's , 80's memories again... man I grew up in that place.. . Joe Ferguson, Bob Chandler, Bert Jones (?!) remember those guys?..

Loved Joe Ferguson. Still remember when he beat the Jets at Shea Stadium with that long pass to Joe Cribbs with only a few seconds left. I was there and it was so sweet driving home after the game with all the upset Jets Fans!!!

    GO BIllS......

We have definitely been hurt by the fact our receivers were all hurt in the playoffs. Every single one of our 5 main receivers has been on the injury report for some of the post season. Brown hasn't been healthy all year IMO, Beas was playing on a broken leg, Davis was playing hurt since the 1st quarter of the Ravens game and McKenzie and Diggs have both been nicked up too.

I think the point @SCBills makes above is worth thinking about in terms of roster construction next year. The Bills carried 4 tight ends and 6 receivers this season. If they are going to run so much 4 and 5 wide stuff I'd expect them to redress that balance to 3 and 7 next year - whether that is Hodgins on the roster or maybe trying to work something longer term out with Stills or whatever.

Looking forward to seeing what Hodgins can do. He was doing well in camp reportedly and Is a big receiver, so we’ll see.

I don't know how you could watch that game and think it was even remotely close. We were gifted a TD early with the fumble and then didn't score another one until the game was over in garbage time.

The teams are world's apart and it showed last night.

To be fair to the Bills, the chiefs are worlds apart from everyone.

Spot on with everything you said. We are a solid team, but not even close to a championship team as constructed.

I feel that they missed a huge opportunity to serve the community for the AFC divisional playoff game. And for that matter, the successful Wild Card game.

How hard would it have been to rent inflatable screens and sound systems and place them around the stadium, charge $30-$50 per car and allow fans to come park and watch the games outside the stadium? Please don’t come back at me with, “it was the Governor.” Such drive ins have been held all over the state during Covid.

No need for concessions, only security to ensure that people did not gather in groups. We would’ve all been able to enjoy the game in an atmosphere of fun. I know they have a wonderful marketing department, and I question why a 52-year-old attorney came up with this idea in about four minutes, and Pegula entertainment couldn’t come up with it in a week’s time. Go Bills.

He can’t NO ONE is allowed in the parking lot due to social distancing. That would totally defeat the purpose.

Said the same thing about Rivers watching the game.... He just kept drifting back in the pocket on that 4th down early when there was absolutely no pressure. Basically Rivers career. Guy never wins a big playoff game..... he does just enough to not win it. And thankfully he did it again Saturday.

And Sims is 100% right. Bills won’t beat the Ravens if the defense is that trash again unless Allen continues to carry the team on his back. I mean, where would this team be without Allen? Probably not even a .500 ball club.

REALLY! He played about as well as he could. Sure. He made some mistakes but helped generate over 450 yards of offense. Don’t put Indy’s loss on Rivers. We were lucky to pull it out!!!

A better team? That team was unbelievable with 4 consecutive super bowl appearances. Hall of famers like Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, and Jim Kelly. This team looks fantastic but that's a stretch brother.

Totally agree. This team is really good but let’s win some playoff games first before we announce that the bills goat teams. Just because the Bills list 4 straight Super Bowls dies not make them a bad team. They were also one dropped pass away from 6 straight afc championship games. Agree that Marv was out is he’d in some of those Super Bowls but those teams had amazing character. Just look at the greatest comeback game as well as some amazing  road wins vs Miami and Pittsburgh.

  11. If the Bills beat the Broncos next Saturday, they clinch their first division title in 25 years by virtue of a better record in common games (10-4 vs 9-5). This assumes that the Bills would lose their last two games and the dolphins win their last three games. That would make both teams 11-5, 4-2 in the division snd 1-1 head to head. All the bills need to do is win one of their last three games and they are in no matter what Miami does.
    GO Bills!!!!!

Here's the other advantage no one''s apparently thought about. With a dome, can you imagine how loud that stadium would be? Rich Stadium and the Ralph were bad enough, but to contain that kind of noise in a dome? No one would want to play us

Will never happen. Just no justification to get a decent return in investment. Plus Buffalo is a small market and would not be able to afford the subsidies that Pegula would ask for in addition to the fan based not putting up with the exorbitant  PSL and ticket prices.

Didn't realize Louis Riddick's brother was Rob Riddick.  Wasn't he the guy who dropped the TD in the playoff game against Cleveland?

No. It was Ronnie Harmon. I still have the smashed remote control from my TV to prove it. One of the most deflating moments in Bills history. Was Jim Kelly’s best game.
Rob Riddick was a baller. Great special teams player. Always gave it his best.

I was talking to my son in the car today about how people always look back to their childhoods and think everything was better (and often are correct).

I used the NHL as an example.  My dad would always tell me how much better the original 6 was.  Now I tell my kid how much better the 80s and 90s were, with a lot of the fun stars of the day, high scoring games, lots of fights and rivalries, etc.  Hockey is boring to me now, and the quality of the players and coaching has made every game a war of attrition to see who makes a mistake first.

MLB the same way, although I much prefer today over the roid era.  Still long for the days of older ballparks and Ozzie Smith, Cal Ripkin, George Brett, Mattingly, Winfield, Strawberry, Hershiser, etc...

Then I got to the NFL and I paused...  I actually think it might be much better today than it was when I was a kid (Im 42).  I do think there would be an extra charm with the AFL days/1960s and 1970s that I missed... but overall, the sport has improved from the 80s and 90s.  It has gotten faster, more action, much more in quantity and quality coverage, ridiculous popularity, fantasy football/pools, and lots of stars.

granted, there are things I dislike... mainly the extreme proliferation of video review.  It would also be nice if players had a longer shelf-life like they seemed to have in the past.

I have to disagree. The whole social justice issue has totally undermined the league and has turned me off a lot. I used to watch every NFL game that I could,  but now only watch the Bills and even then I am troubled by my favorite team not honoring the national anthem. Ratings have also fallen. I also know that many of my friends have similar feelings. Will be hard to replace those Bills teams of the 90’s who played with so much heart to get to those 4 Super Bowls, even if they lost. Will probably never happen again as teams getting to the super bowl many times don’tveven make the playoffs the following year.

2-3 more inches in either direction for that ball and its incomplete. And thats on a 50yd throw. It literally hit Hopkins at the perfect apex of his jump. Its insane.

they could literally try that 100 times and im confident they would fail every time.

Agreed. Just perfect place at perfect time. Totally heartbreaking 😡😩👎

The Bills are entering the meat grinder portion of their schedule.

    I see a 3-5 finish for a 9-7 record and a division championship.

    Seahawks- Loss

    Cardinals- Loss

    Chargers- Win

    49ers- Loss

    Steelers- Loss

    Broncos- Win

    Patriots- Loss

    Dolphins- Win

    Totally agree with you.
