  1. Agreed. This dude should have been fired last year. I could be wrong, but I don’t recall him being too awful of a ref when he did it, but boy is he out of his league with this job. Seems like the guy always screws us with a critical call against the Cheats. The kelvin benjamin TD that was overturned comes to mind. The play I was most annoyed with yesterday, beside the Allen hit, was the pick play on Levi Wallace. I don’t care if the rule doesn’t allow you to consider intent. Dude didn’t even attempt to run a route. But hey, we’ve been getting jobbed on critical calls against the cheats since at least the “just give it to them” game. It’s a joke.

I don't have a problem sitting Allen this week, concussion or not. To my eye, he's regressed to bad habits, and now Belichick gave the rest of the league the blueprint on how to neutralize him.

Just like last year, where he had a chance to sit and learn and come out better for it, he needs a refresher. Let Barkley play the Titans. Give them a little curve ball. Now you have 3 weeks with the bye for Allen to get his game back, and maybe also work on how to respond to the next team to try that same defense on him.

I don't care what the media will say about "benching" him. He needs a break. Even before Belichick did his voodoo to him, Josh had the yips on those two early throws. The Pats were in his head. McDermott has to make sure this doesn't spiral downward.

Absent injury and not clearing the protocol, I don’t see any way you sit your starting QB that got you to 3-0. What Belichick did to Josh is what he does to every young QB. Not even sure how much Belichick even did to him honestly. The errors were all forced, inpatient hero ball crap. I feel like the cheats played him the same way last year. Take away the escape runs and make him throw. Sure, Josh can learn, and I wouldn’t have been against pulling him for a series to tell him to cut the ish, but he needs to play. Josh needs to learn, and I don’t see how sitting on the bench helps at this point. Love him or hate him, we go as far as he takes us this year. Same as it’s always been.

As a mod, I ought to object (and would if towards another poster)

Given the context of what Golic said - “you’re too kind”

Much appreciated. I’m not normally one for the language, but I’m at a loss for words. Pats never do anything wrong. Never mind that Jones stood over Josh and flexed after the hit. Replay showed that, but I guess intent wasn’t there to throw him out of the game.

I keep telling the loss of robert foster and Devin Singletary was the reason why we lost.

if foster is there the Patriots now have to deal with 2 legit deep threats instead of doubling brown.  And the biggest was Singletary if the Bill's would had that ability to run those draws that Singletary is great in the Bill's would have won this game easily.

I said it yesterday after the game, but enough with Zay Jones. Bob Foster shouldn’t be losing snaps to Zay any more. Outside of maybe run blocking, Zay offers nothing more than Foster. Foster’s speed keeps DBs on their toes. But I guess he hasn’t “earned the right” quite like Zay.

  5. For whatever reason, it just seems like he continues to think he’s got to do it alone. He’s got a much better group this year, but he still plays too much hero ball. I like how aggressive he is, but in this league, guys are too good to get away with that crap. Why can’t he get rid of the ball faster? Isn’t that what every QB ALWAYS does to us? Some of it is on him and still learning, but some of it is most definitely on playcalling. Daboll did him no favors today. Especially in the first half.

  6. Can we all just admit it already? Zay is a bust. Yes, he’s been dealt some bad QB’ing and overall poor offensive team mates, but I struggle to even see how this guy is a top 4 receiver on our team. Juju should’ve been the pick. Instead we had his former receivers coach at ECU in McDermott’s ear. Guy plays small, and not just physically.
