The rape accusation has clouded my opinion of him
I’d completely forgotten about that! Good call out. When I look at him, something about him just doesn’t seem like a motivator of men. I’m sure he’s plenty smart enough as a rocket scientist or whatever, but he just doesn’t do it for me as the face and leader of my football organization.

You might be. Matt Patricia has changed the culture in Detroit. This is a pretty good Detroit team, they're going toe to toe with GB at Lambeau. When was the last time that happened?
I get your point. Maybe it’s just me, but I think Patricia is just like every other Belichick disciple not named Nick Saban ?♂️. Waiting for him to flame out like all the rest. I could be wrong though and time will tell I suppose.

Am I the only one unimpressed by the Lions? ESPN hype machine was going hard for this game. I look down and the Lions are 2-1-1.
Look, I root for all of our misery-loves-company rust belt brethren unless we play them, but I don’t think Patricia is a good HC.

MNF has perfected awkward musical performances. But hey...at least this one is live.

Ooof. That has to be a joke, right?

Good lord. Chiefs going nowhere fast with that “defense”. Yes, I know, you can survive without a defense. But you have to make a stop in the playoffs eventually.

Rivers arm looks really weak these days. Not that it was ever the strongest, but man, speaking of ducks.

This game sucks.

Imagine benching your QB for poor play and turning to Tallywhacker as an upgrade
Sadly, he probably is an upgrade.

Almost as if the Jets are better with their starting qb. Huh...who’d a thunk it? We are the only team (before this game) that played the real Jets. They’re no world beaters, but they are a decent squad. Coaching holds them back.

Pete Carroll just looks like he’d have some rough coffee breath.

Is Sammy even playing today? Guy has been invisible since week 1.

Why do kickers suck?...
Definitely seems like this has been more of a problem this year than in the past. I could be wrong but seems like it.

Uh oh don’t say this. People gonna start hating Watson too now.
Hahaha. Im trying to stay engaged on a bye week. I appreciate the break for a week, but man do I hate the break for the week.

Watson took 62 sacks last year and still went 11-5. I can only imagine him behind KC )-line. He can sling the ball anywhere on the field (long, short and medium) with accuracy and can run/scramble amazing.
I completely get Whaley and McD being totally unsure about Mahomes during that draft. A lot of teams were. Doesn’t make it right, but there were concerns. What I’m shocked by is not taking Watson. He was a great college QB who played huge in the biggest games. A winner. Ball speed thing was overblown. Some guys win and are just good players. I bet if Whaley wasn’t neutered during that draft, Watson would’ve been a consideration for that pick. Idk for sure, but seems like it.
For the record, before everyone roasts me, I’m a big JA supporter and completely fine with him. Just making an observation.

Even then, we were toe to toe with them. Just some execution flaws on offense and teams.
I agree. McD was the most prepared he’s ever been against them. But it’s the little things that NE will catch you on that can be the difference in the game. Like the blocked punt. He saw it on tape. McD didn’t. Sure, we had the whole game after that to change the outcome and may have if JA didn’t get hurt. But it’s just those little things that they are always ready for that give them the edge.

Bills can beat anyone in the AFC
NE is the only team that scares me
I agree. And it’s not even really a talent divide for us with NE. Their edge is in coaching and preparation.
-
It’s NE and everyone else in the AFC. And NE is beatable if you don’t make dumb mistakes to beat yourself. AFC is as wide open as it’s ever been.

The officials haven't got a clue. I called that immediately. Idiots.
Mahomes threw that early because pressure was in his face. He is trying to protect that ankle. Poor throw.
He needs a bye week for sure. That ankle is becoming a problem.

I don’t see any way this dude is traded. Yeah, sure it could happen. Anything can. But I’d be shocked if it came before the offseason.

Hard to stat patient when they put up quick points on you early. The good thing the Colts did last week was keep the game close. That enabled them to really stick with the run.
Yep, I agree. And that’s exactly what they want you to try to do. I think Texans do have the pass game weapons to keep up. But they don’t need to. Pound the rock. I guarantee you the Cheats will make them prove they can stop the run when they meet.

Why people don’t run it down KC’s throat is shocking to me. They can’t tackle or stop the run. Plus it keeps Mahomes off the field. Pound it on them.
Jalen Ramsey Traded to Rams

As good as Jalen Ramsey is, I would be furious if Beane traded two ones for any player that isn’t a QB or out-of-his-mind dominant pass rusher like Khalil Mack. And even the pass rusher would leave me nervous. Corners are valuable, but no corner impacts a game enough to warrant that kind of draft capital. Not Deion or Revis. None of them. There are ways to work the offense around/away from a good corner. Happens all the time.
