  1. Looks like Carter got his college number 90 after all. I think in the embedded video they gave him 94 and he said (in the video) that he was going to have to change that. With Shaq Lawson not back, I wonder if anyone else had 90 and he had to work out a deal with them?

I agree. He sucked at it too. But sucking at holding seems more the exception than the rule. Team makes too big of a deal about getting the perfect hold for Bass. If Bass needs to be catered to that much, and, as a professional kicker can’t figure out how to fix his kicks drifting, then he needs to be replaced. And, for the record, I think he deserves another season to see if he can get right, but it also wouldn’t be a bad thing to bring in some competition for him.

love how it's always "the holder" lol...

Thank you. One of the most overrated, over discussed topics associated with this regime. Matt Haack is a joke of a NFL punter, but supposedly some sort of holding specialist. Give me a break with the holder talk. Just kick the damn ball through the uprights like you’re paid to do.

Of course you never want to punt because it’s a failed drive, but Haack is the new Jordan Gay (kick off specialist) and it’s just a waste.

  4. Still looks like he has some juice left to me. Would’ve preferred him to Claypool, but even if we were offering slightly more than Miami on the contract (which I doubt), he was 100% choosing to live in Miami instead of Buffalo (or KC) all day. Anyone claiming Tua tipped the scales is hilarious.

btw - when are they tying themselves to Tua on a long term deal already? Get it done so I can feel “secure” with their future.

I genuinely despise the design as well. It’s not a joke when I say that these are the two images I picture when I see the renderings:

Nothing about it seems great. Everything about it screams “average”.

Looking at your first image, you know damn well by now that the stadium isn’t coming with a retractable roof.

I'm sure it'll be nice enough. But with these cost overruns I can see them cutting back on details.

Here in lovely Manch-Vegas NH they built a ball park for the AA Blue Jays team the Fishercats in 2005. The original plan was for brick facades like Fenway Park. Very nice. But when costs went up we got corrugated metal siding instead.

Still a very nice ball park. I think it's a better design than Sahlen Field, with open concourses that allow you to see the game while at concessions. But corrugated metal siding is not brick.

I think this is pretty much the reason why we don’t have any fly-through or detailed renderings of the interior like we’ve seen with other stadium projects. I don’t think they want us seeing anything or getting our hopes up if costs skyrocket and they start cutting things.

  6. I hate that this has happened to Kim. Coincidentally, I was just googling her today to see if there were any updates on her condition and the only thing that came up was the OpEd and her brief visit to training camp last year. The part in Tim’s article that emphatically stated “Kim is not coming back

(to the Bills and Sabres)” and the part about her being declared legally incapacitated gutted me. She is the reason the Bills are still here and I always hoped she’d be back eventually.

Diet is part of work ethic. 😐

Maybe. Probably splitting hairs, but I’d say diet is more about discipline (i.e., choices and portion control) than work ethic (i.e., true commitment to developing one’s craft). Because of his occupation, you could say eating right should be part of his commitment to his craft, but none of his choices seem to have impacted his performance on the field. That stuff will start to factor in more as he ages, and he’s acknowledged that will need to change. And I trust him to address it. Not sure why anyone would doubt him on that.

  8. Are there actually folks out there that question Josh’s work ethic? The same guy everyone ***** on coming into the league and had to bust his ass in the offseason to become the player he’s become? Wow. I guess I always thought people were kidding with that stuff. I can see issues with his diet (he’s even admitted as much), but questioning big haus’ individual work ethic is crazy.

I would love to know who in the pro personnel dept is pounding the table for guys like Cephus and Hollins.  This is the worst group of receivers I’ve ever seen.  It’s almost comical.

Not quite as bad as the rag-tag group they put around Josh his rookie year, but pretty uninspiring. It’s like they are allergic to going all in and leaving no stone unturned to help Josh. But, boy, I’ll be damned if McD doesn’t make sure his defense doesn’t have any holes. That same defense that disappears year after year in the playoffs.

Curtis Samuel runs in the mid 4.3s and Shakir runs a 4.42. Can you please know what you actually are talking about about before posting nonsense?

Sorry to have upset the board gestapo. I said get some speed at the receiver position, as in more. As in additions to what we already have. You know to address the whole explosive plays they think they are missing.
