  1. I think management handled it properly. They tried to get a receiver that was always open and it failed. What's the point in getting a badass receiver if you have no one to throw it to them. Now that it appears we have a real QB, it seems logical that they get some receivers. They now know they need some fast guys that can catch hard thrown balls.

Brett Favre used to have trouble with finding guys that could handle his hard throws. Once they knew, it never seemed to be an issue.

Sports science claims Josh Allen has the strongest arm in NFL history, they probably need some specific guys to catch that kinda stuff.

I know it's blasphemy, but Josh Allen will have every Bills QB record by the time he retires. Yards, TD's, Rushing, Wins. They have their QB for the next 10/15 years. He is the most exciting Bill since SB days. Nobody knew what a great runner he is. Reminds me of Elway, only faster and shiftier. He is going to be a stud.  His game of pass/run is going to be sweet to watch.   Fill a few holes on O-line next year, grab a receiver or two, cut Benjamin, Clay and Shady.  Doesn't matter what city it is, good players want to play with good/great QB's. He will make everyone around him better. Then they all can make even more  $$$$$$.  Can't wait until next year.

I feel the same way, I'm a Bills fan so I'm cautious, but I told my circle that was the best Bills loss I have ever seen.

I'm old bro, so it don't come easy. But damn, dare I let myself get excited and believe the Bills have a QB? And heck, how didn't I know this man has the Moxy and not only the better of the Joshes, but better than them all?

I'm jumping on the train. May he ever keep us on the tracks, or let us levitate above them. God love us, Bills Fans, thouhest have eaten thine swine ass for far too long

Winning games contributes to a winning culture.

Games with 165 yards in penalties, turnovers, special teams gaffs, blown leads in the 4th quarter, failed comebacks … no they don't change the culture but maybe they can teach a young team some hard lessons.  Still, you have to WIN to have a winning  culture.

--- And losing for a better draft choice is the worst.

Can't argue with that too much. I will say though, having an elite qb builds winning traditions. Not ready to crown Allen just yet, but the needle is pointing up for me

If this is the result then I think we can say JA will be starting Week 2...

    Leash will be very short...

I was thinking that unless Peterman is horrible for first 3 games, they will let him roll untill we are out of contention.

I think they would rather start him once the season is out of reach to eliminate the added pressure of a playoff hunt.

Peterman will do better than the naysayers think and maybe next year we have a really good problem

You can see the potential and you can also see he is NOT ready yet.

Agree, with the 2 other qb's we have here, i'm happy to see where it goes, and let them train Allen's bad habits away.

I want him to succeed, just don't wanna see another qb with talent fail because he wasn't ready.

He had a big gain on a pass he shouldn't have thrown and got lucky, threw off back foot. His arm and luck saved him. Go Bills!

  6. So Peterman set or tied the interception record for a half game. I get why people are stuck on that. If you watch what happened you would see that one should have been caught by receiver, one was a deflection and Mills was called out by a pro-bowler for litterally not blocking for him.

I will get behind whoever starts, but so many folk want to just say the guy is garbage because it's the thing to do.

I still wanna see what he can do, not for 2 seasons of failure, but way too early to write off.

Josh Rosen has wowed his teammates with the phrase “aim small, miss small”.

What catch phrase should Josh Allen use that expresses his football philosophy?

Let’s see who can be the most creative.

If he doesn't make the probowl by next year, you can bet he will have an unflattering nickname.  Something like "Josh Phallen" or worse. Personally I hate the nicknames but it will happen...

  8. If you watch Allen's games from college you will see he had some bad throws, some bad receivers, but also throws the ball hard as hell and had a ton of passes bounce off his receivers hands. I wanted Mayfield, but I can also see the low completion percentage had multiple causes

We have the prototypical QB that we have been begging for since the retirement of Jim Kelly! HUGE arm, BIG body, and INTELLIGENT! Give this kid some Solid mentoring and a little time and we won't regret this pick.  Now get behind our young QB and show him the support that BILLS fans are famous for!

The responses to a non biased post you  get here blows me away. I guess be happy people don't respond the same face to face. Would make for some seriously stressful small talk huh? ?

I never heard of Catfish Cooley before, but I like that dude. He described my life damn near to a T. He has a great message and I guess I needed to hear it today.

BIG EDIT: I looked up Catfish Cooleys other YouTube's and the first one is of him drinking a quart of vinegar then snorting hot sauce and pouring hot sauce in his eyes. Just to prove that since he quit drinking he is not a little weenie.

HAHAHA. from an actual inspirational self help video to jackass. The intenet is a helluva drug.

    Oh boy.

The guy cracks me up, Phillips looks a lot like him, but speaks English a good bit better lol
