I have the same issue with Dorsey's playcalling every week.. it seems like he wants the big shot too often. He also seems very, very predictable where they get into a groove passing then have a miss and it feels like every time after that it's a run.
There's other issues I think they need to address that are more impactful though.. any pass that is at or behind the line of scrimmage seems to be a disaster. Not wasting downs on this I think would be a great help.
I'm pretty sure Dorsey doesn't have a play called "everybody go deep". There are multiple options available on every called passing play. I have seen very little commentary on the fact that execution could be a contributing factor to what people are perceiving as offensive struggles.

Here's what's amazing about the Bills comeback... the largest playoff comeback in history prior to the Bills - Houston game was only 20 points.
-
Now there's a 10-3 team that fans should complain about.

Also, if the weather is bad at the end of the game, how long does it take to get out of the stadium and to the border?
Somewhere between 1 and 4 hours.

Brain trauma and a rib injury are not at all similar.
In the AFC East they are.

I can summarize it in two sentences:
Following the Chiefs playoff game, the Bills management and fans clearly expected Gabe Davis to blossom into a significant threat. That has not happened.
The end.
That's better.

I am happy they are 10-3 and not 7-6. I have done the math a few times and it appears they are 3 games better than last season at this same point last year.
I am happy right now.
If they win 13 games by the end of the seasons my math witchcraft tells me they will finish tied for the most regular season wins in franchise history (albeit in 17 games) and two games better than last year. This also makes me happy.
If the Bills find themselves on the road in the second round of the Playoffs in Cincy or KC then no, I will not be happy. I will cheer for them like crazy, but second round road playoffs games wasn't really the jam I was vibing for all offseason.
I am spoiled and I am cool with that because I am old (kinda) and I feel entitled to it and this team, primarily this QB era, may be my last rodeo.
14-3...That's what I need. 14-3 and a path through the Wester New York Southern tier snow belt to get to the Super Bowl.
Go Bills!
This makes me happy too.

Is this Ken Dorsey?
Tiresome.

I can't imagine what the second guessing would be like if the Bills actually lost this game. These are top of the league problems we're discussing.

When you have your star wide receiver having it out on the field with your head coach for everyone to see you know something is wrong.
This is an inaccurate description of what happened.

Not a big deal at the nfl level but just odd the way the roster was constructed with no receivers who played in cold weather and you play in Buffalo
I don't think it matters where you played in college. When you live and work in cold weather you get used to it. At least a lot more than players in Miami.

Dorsey is just flat out lacking experience as an OC. Not enough game experience as OC, and to much reading off his to do list.
He is just not qualified IMO to be OC. He never was.
13 games is too small a sample size to proclaim anything about Dorsey. However, the offensive numbers put up by the Bills this year would support the argument that he's doing a pretty good job.

Gotta cling to something.
The playoffs aren't really going to be a thing for the Vikings. They got outscored 64-10 by the Eagles and Cowboys.

It's interesting because I think the Ravens are there. They aren't really SB contenders. They are always good not great. Lamar shines some times but hasn't shown he can beat the better teams in the playoffs and has dealt his injuries the last two years. Do you pay him??
If you don't somebody else will.

On the bright side, he will now have plenty of time to read 4-hours each week..
He probably won't though. That clause was removed...

The Cardinal's record I feel would be the same with Murray or McCoy.
Murray is 14-18 in his last 32 games.

I wonder how much they’re regretting giving him that contract?? And also to think JJ turned down Buffalo because he thought Arizona was a contender
I think there were regrets before the injury.

I'm a pretty big analytics and numbers guy because as fans that what we have available to us. You hear a lot about teams who see a guy in person or meet them and fall in love with them even if the stats say they likely won't be good, so I think that's where fans sometimes have an advantage in that we don't fall into that trap. So this is the article I link to when anyone says "I knew Allen would be great." Oh you did? Because it's literally never happened before in the history of the NFL. That's like someone winning the lottery essentially. Happy it worked out for us but you are correct in that I was against the pick
https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2018/4/24/17271686/josh-allen-nfl-draft-2018-stats-analysis-comparisons
I think drafting players that fit your team is mostly a science but there has to be art involved. That's why teams sometimes get fooled.

Agreed but even he's not always right so when some of us who study these players object to a draft pick we shouldn't be immediately silenced. We have brains and opinions too
I'll go along with that.
Answer one question honestly though.
Were you a Rosen guy?
I admit I was.

Point is we aren't always right and neither are they. Otherwise Tom Brady goes #1 and there are no draft busts. We are entitled to our opinion. Every year there is a pick where we go "what the heck were they thinking" and then in comes the peanut gallery with "you don't know what you are talking about!" This year it was the Bernard pick. The team isn't always right
Being right all the time is an impossibility. Being right more often than not is the goal. Who's doing that better than Beane?

Big miss by all GM's on DK when the analytics showed he graded out pretty much exactly the same as Julio Jones. An absolute physical specimen of pure athleticism. A total no brainer and instead the Bills traded UP for a T that was too slow for the position and was expected to need to move to G at the pro level. But I love when fans say we aren't allowed to criticize the picks because the scouts know more than we do
Let me guess. You were screaming wrong Josh in 2018.

At this point I think I could out produce any wr on this team outside of Diggs. At least no one would bother to cover me leaving me wide open all the time, and if I manage to catch a couple I out performed the Bills wrs lol. If I dropped most of them it would be par for the course
Maybe you should start breaking the pills in half.

The Ripoff Report: Bills Ice the Fish

I initially thought it might be ruled a catch too but after watching different replay angles it appeared that McKenzie's hand did not stay firmly under the ball and the ball looked to have touched the ground. I think if it had been ruled a completion initially it may have stood but unfortunately the ruling was incomplete and there just wasn't enough there in the replay to change it.
