I just keep trying to think what Damar would want. He worked his whole life to get to where he is at. He worked hard the whole week to prepare for this game. He wanted to play this game. We are talking about competitors, hard core. This is obviously my opinion but if I am Damar I want this game to be played. I believe the other players on the Bills need to ask themselves the same question. If they believe the answer is that Damar would want them to play and they want to show respect for their fallen comrade, then they need to play the game. WHAT WOULD DAMAR WANT? For the Bills players that is all that should matter.
So if the answer is we play, then play tomorrow or Thursday and move next weeks games for these two teams accordingly.
If the team goes in with the attitude that they are playing for Damar they will then go in focused.

Had a few to many drinks this Christmas please forgive me, but i want to grind this puke orange team into dust, i want all of there chili spaghetti eating fans all 15,000 of them to long for the day's of Ken Anderson. Jesus who eats chili on spaghetti anyhow???
I'm from Rochester, NY and I've been a Bills fan since 1973 and I love Chili on pasta. Prefer a short macaroni like shells or penne, but spaghetti would do also.

This is close to where I thought it would be. After the Bills won and the Bengals basically got lucky, I thought that if the game was on a neutral field the Bills would be favored by 5, since it is in Cincinnati and usually home field is worth 3 points I figured the line would open at 2. Ii guess 1.5 is close.
I see that Caesars has the game at Bills minus 1, draft kings has the Bills at minus 1.5, Fanduel has the Bills at minus 2.5 and Bet365 has the Bills at minus 1.5

Saying that the Bills was better because of the 2 point conversion is ridiculous. No idea what would have happended if they did go for 2 and either converted or didn't. Whole outcome would have changed.
Also remember if you want to compare rules, don't forget that converting an onside kick was easier back in 1992 then it is today. That probably means more than being able to go for 2.

Why can't we just enjoy good football? Why does it matter whose win is better?
What the Vikings did yesterday was incredible and fun to watch, why can't we just enjoy that and give them their due.
Who is the Viking's man of the year nominee and what is his charity? The Bills Mafia should donate $33.00 or $3.30 to that charity and let the world know again how that Bills fans are the best in the world.
Update: Adam Thielen is the Vikings nominee and his charity is The Thielen Foundation which helps youth development. The website is "thielenfoundation.org". I think that all of us in the Bills Mafia should donate either $19.00 (Thielen's number) or some combination of 33 and let the Vikings know what kind of people we really are.

It's easy to get cute on 3rd and 1, when you know you are going for it on 4th and 1

Maybe my problem is that I look at things as what I am and that's an amateur competitor. Little things like that can play havic with my mind. I've seen many friends while competing when adding additonal pressure will just crack under it.
We may be able to say that about Tannehill and Rogers yesterday.

Let's just get past KC first, this would be a moot point if they do not win today
Did you actually read the question. It only makes sense before the game. After the game it will all be in hindsight which is useless.
If you were one of the players would playing for home field next week mean added pressure or more incentive? Simple question.

Or does it mean nothing at all?
Are Sean McDermott's teams really coached to where it is one game at a time?
I'm just curious as to what others think.
Thanks

If you go to sportsline.com they have the spread at Buffalo -2.5 with the over/under at 50. The simulated score at the moment is Baltimore 25, Buffalo 24. So they are stating that you should bet Baltimore with the spread.

He also said that Darnold would get a drill right one time and then stop working on it and Allen would work on the same drill for 15-20 more snaps after he got it right. I believe this was during an interview on Cowherd or Eisen last season that he said it.
I find this post interesting. I am a part time singer/performer and someone once told me that an amatuer will rehearse until they get it right while a professional will rehearse until they can't get it wrong.

Personally I do not consider Lamar Jackson a QB. He is a hybrid Running Back. I think the same of Cam Newton, I used to think the same of Michael Vick, Kap, TT and any others that were more known for their running then they are for throwing. They are not QB's, but Hybrid RB's. Now their are Hybrid QB's who are known for throwing but can also run effectively. QB's like Wilson, Mahomes and even our own JA. Give me a Hybrid QB over a Hybrid RB anyday of the week.

The record is 554 yards by Norm Van Brocklin on 9/28/1951. There have been 18 qbs to throw for 500 yards, 16 of them only once and then Drew Brees has done it twice and Ben Roethlisberger has done it 3 times. Some of the odd names I saw on the list include Matt Schaub, Vince Ferragamo and Elvis Grbac.

Shaw,
I have been reading the Rockpile Review now for years, even over on the old bills site. I look forward to this every Monday after a game. You never disapoint. So first I want to day thank you.
I am starting to feel a different tone in these reviews. For years it seems that you tried to be optomistic even when the bills were horrid. It seems the expectations have now changed. For years it was just hoping they would look competitive and maybe squeak a win here and there. But now it's different isn't it.
Now we expect wins, and we wonder why we cannot dominate. That is a wonderful fundamental change. I think we can thank this regime for that.

PS: You and I have played in a fantasy league together many years ago. You would have known me then under my old handle and that would have been Flea.

Ok, so it looks like there are people going. Now I plan on getting to Cleveland on Saturday so I can party. So is anyone else doing that or just coming for the game on Sunday?

I saw this an deemed it useless. Nobody spends time in that section and here we are when we already know the schedule and I am sure everyone is making there plans and there are few if any responses to any of the stuff over in Tailgate Central. Bills fan hang here so this is where I believe I can get the best information

Hey everyone,
Looks like my son and I will be in Cleveland for this game. So questions
1) What hotel is taken over by Bills fans when they play in Cleveland? Will be there Saturday and need a place to stay
2) What bar is a Bills Backer bar in Cleveland? Also need a place to party
3) Where does the tailgating happen and when does it start on Sunday? Need to get primed for the game.

Don't you think that if he had this talent that everyone that has posted so far seems to think he does, that the Texans would have kept him?

Here's something sad .... Zay Jones played in 3 more games than Britt last year and only had 60 more receiving yards.

It lacked the NFL Film cinematography. The close intimacy you see from their camera guys. No jib or high end production tools. Some drone work might have been nice to see. Other than coach you didn't get a feel for players and who they are. It just didn't have the overall depth Hard Knocks. Does. And just to let you know I've been a cinematographer/producer/ filmmaker for 35 years and have won Emmy awards for similar type programs.
jk, I seriously need to ask what difference this makes? Does it have to have the overall depth of Hard Knocks? Does it need high end production tools?
Plus how do we know what future episodes hold for us, we may get more of a feel for the players and other coaches. We may get drone work, who knows. The first episode was all about the process, which of course would mostly be McDermott.
All I care about is that I enjoyed it. It was very entertaining and it pumped me up. I know it is a promotional tool and the slant is going to be positive, but I don't care. I want positive, things have been negative for too long.
You probably consider this a puff piece, but all I know is that I can't wait for number 2 because number 1 was awsome as far as I am concerned. As long as they stay entertaining I'll tune in week after week.

All that matters is wins... All this rah rah stuff doesn't mean much otherwise.
Well I guess you're a disgruntled Bills Fan either that or a troll.
However it does mean something. It is this rah rah stuff that took a team with questionable talent last year and got them to 9 wins and a playoff birth.
But you know if you don't like it you can always move on to another thread instead of making yourself look miserable.
Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

This game will be finished, because it has to be for many reasons. The game will be finished this week, either tomorrow night or Thursday night. If they play Thursday and then reschedule this weekend's game to Monday, the number of days between games is the same as Sunday to Thursday during the season. The playing Monday they will have time to prepare for the playoffs the following weekend if they are scheduled to do so.
