    COOOOP!!!

I'd take this all day. Not sure why people will grab pitch forks if you can get a guy that might have a higher ceiling than poyer/Hyde in thier primes in the 2nd. I'll admit I wanted Leggett but if beane uses the ammo to trade back up and still get a guy like ladd or baker and Cooper I'd be excited.

  2. 90% of josh allen criticism is because of one reason, bills mafia.

Nick Wright legitimately has made a career on hating josh allen. Why? Because he's a beloved qb of a diehard fan base. A fan base that can easily be triggered into a frenzy of tweets and views. Every time nick Wright bashes josh allen he's immediately trending on Twitter.

You really think Stephen a Smith hates the cowboys? Guarantee he doesn't give a rats ass, but it's the most popular team in America and hating on them gets views and tweets.

They can't bash on Desmond ridder every day, no one will tweet or watch the clips.

That might be the key to it.

I think it could be a good idea but it means not taking someone early for the D line. I think that could be a priority. Whatever happens, should be interesting...

If jonny Newton or chop are still there at 28 I'd be surprised if they pass on them, and then get thier favorite wr left on day 2. Possibly trade late picks to get another day 2 pick and get thier favorite 2 wrs.

    The Texans are being overrated.

I said it yesterday - people should check their schedule last season.  They didn't beat many good teams.  They'll have a 1st place schedule this year, and won't catch teams by surprise like they did in '23.

Not that they won't be in contention, but they haven't proven much to me yet.

I think stroud is a good QB but people are getting wild calling Texans to the super bowl.

Now opponents will take them seriously and they have a year of tape on stroud.

It is not a position of need. Johnny Newton is a 3T. The Bills have one of their best players at 3T, they just paid him and he just had a career year. You can't line Newton up with Oliver in anything more than pure pass rush downs. And if they are going to spend a 1st round pick on a 3T and then force fit him into a 1T shaped hole.... well they deserve everything they get.

I meant the 40% snaps that are available when Oliver is off the feild. The bills dl depth hasn't been great at coming in and making an impact especially behind Oliver. I won't pretend to know a ton about williams, he might be a great signing but he's on a 1 year.

Nothing wrong with going mitchell at all, I want weapons on offense, but if your telling me I could possibly get great/elite pass rush at 3t 100% of snaps (not too mention if Oliver ever got hurt) for the next few years I'd take it all day at 28.

  6. Awesome mock, but I think McDermott would flip a table if beane took Mitchell and Johnny Newton is still on the board. It's a position of need this year, and a massive need in the coming years and he's arguably the best in the draft.

I could see McDermott himself sprinting to the podium to turn in the card if Newton is still there.

Matt Araiza was just chilling out there all off season and we bring back Matt freaking Haack??  He has like a 20yd punt average with the Bills

Agreed, Araiza deserved a chance. But we bring back a guy that is not only flat out statistically bad but also had one of, if not the worst overall punting performance in a single game ever.

It's early in the year and things will shake out but this one doesn't make sense to me at all.

Well said. All this money spent on the Defensive Line and how many sacks last night?

I think this is a good point. Joe marino also had a great tweet. And when you combine them I think you really get why the bills continue to fall short.

Short hand what joe said, keys why the bills lost this year: no down feild wr talent, d line didn't show up, special teams, injuries.

This regime has continued to spend massive amounts on the d line and once again we are left standing wondering why we fell short in the playoffs. Might be time to change things up.

  9. Unfortunately he will not be fired. He made a great late season run and won the division. I think he's a good coach and a great D coordinator but some times a team just needs something new and some juice to get them over the hump. I think its time, I'd argue we have consistantly seen the ceiling of the bills with mcD. It's good but not championship quality. He brought winning football to buffalo again, we have to be thankful for that but I don't think mcD has the IT factor.

    It’s going to happen.

I'll go ahead and be that guy. Even though I truly respect your positive outlook.

But at this point the odds are even more against them and we have already spent possibly over half to 3/4 of josh Allen's prime. For the bills to increase their odds from the odds they've had for the past 4-5 years, they will have to seriously hit home runs across the board on draft picks because they have no money to bring in any big names in FA.

Diggs better keep his damn mouth shut this off-season. Bitched about not getting the ball and then routinely drops passes and screws up. Dude ate massive crow with his crap tonight

Was a media distraction pre season and a distraction at times during the season, even yelling at josh on the sidelines. And tonight when josh and the bills needed him most, he dropped a perfect game winning pass. I didn't see josh throwing a fit at diggs for dropping and absolute dime with the game on the line.

Just off the top of my head I think that's the 4th game winning/tying deep bomb diggs has dropped for the bills. But I'm sure we will hear more chirping this off season
