You do realize that we can still afford bell right?
Maybe, but it would have been better to just have signed Bell and Morse. And used the leftover money on another OL.

The best teams get their elite talent via the draft and retain them. They don't pay an extra 50% on guys because they are paying the FA premium rates.
When was the last time we drafted an elite WR or RB. We suck at it.

Morse over any of them.
Morse has not allowed a sack since 2015. Not average.
I left Morse out because we can sign him and Bell. The 3 guys I listed could have paid Bell.
-
Multiple average players is why we are perpetually 7-9 or 9-7

High priced talent or multiple subpar talent?

Some of you seriously need to learn football........
Let me know when Beasley and John Brown are putting up a 1,000 apiece like we actually need.

Brown is virtually Foster and Beasley is virtually Jones. There is no upgrade.

Beasley has 20 more yards and 4 fewer TDs than Zay last year. This makes zero sense.
This is why we are the Bills. Can’t land AB or Bell so we sign scraps.

Bills love perpetual #3 WRs. Wastage of money

They aren't trash, but ok
They aren’t that much better than what we already have. Zay and Foster put up nearly similar numbers to these jokers. I’d rather have Bell than Beasley or Brown.

How did they "blow their load"? Did you see what Funchess, Crowder and Humphries got? Did you not want to address WR? They are paying market price
I’d rather draft WRs than pay for trash WRs

Bills just blew their load on Brown and Beasley. So prob no on Bell. Lame

Bell reportedly signing with 1 of 32 teams soon. You heard it here first.

I take this as bad news for Buffalo. But could be cryptic for Raiders.

Get Bell and keep Shady and go hard on the line. Ground and pound until Allen can throw wide open bombs.
-
I’m perfectly fine paying top dollar to put Bell and Shady on this team for this year. It allows Allen to mature another year, gives us another year to find WRs for Allen and gives the new OL time to gel together.

we are not keeping him in this scenario IMO. We are nto paying a RB huge money for 25% workload. He will be replaced, possibly packaged in a deal soon IMO
Either way, I’m not against it.

Thanks !!
So he’s still young and he had a year off ,
He would be our star RB for the next 3 years. I like it.

Nobody is going to keep Shady on this team for the money he makes to run 25% of the time
We have money to spend and Shady isn’t going to return the value we can get from him sharing carries with Bell.
-
Line up Bell and Shady in the backfield. Fake handoff too Shady and dump it off to Bell or fake dump it Bell and hit a WR deep.

Man... if it's "judicious" of Beane to go this hard after the 2 most obviously expensive FAs out there, what would a rash decision actually look like for him?
Guess they're thinking seriously about cutting Shady, despite saying otherwise.
There is room for Bell and Shady. That’s a very dangerous backfield, especially if we can sign Williams and draft a guy like Jonah.

Bell 70% carries
McCoy 25% carries
Gore 5% short yardage carries
i wouldnt mind that at all.

It’s 20 million worth spent. He would open up the passing game like no other.
