  1. I coach soccer and I do the same thing. I clap and shake the players hand when they come off the field, no matter how they played during that particular stretch of game. It's designed to encourage them and let them know you've got their back through good points of play and bad alike. I see absolutely nothing wrong with being positive and maintaining that attitude regardless of what is going on on the field. Screaming and yelling at players does not produce results.

It doesn't work. Players will tune you out and refs will make sure to not give you the benefit of the doubt if you are riding them.

Kids yes and the coaching still should reflect that. Now professionals if they tune you out, will be on the streets real quick, real quick with me. This is a businesss and we demand success, if we don't get it you get replaced, real simple.

  2. The only thing "beta as hell" is insecure guys who try to pump themselves up by seeing the world through an absurd alpha/beta lens.

    .

No, there are clear traits you look for in a leader, you need to state failure is unacceptable and there will be consequences for losing and accountability will rule this team. Not clapping for poor performance and handing out participation trophies.

  3. It's like what Gus Bradley used to do. The guy was probably the worst head coach in the league and would just be smiling and clapping like an idiot while his team was getting their heads kicked in every week.

You can still have a great personality and be a hardass. We need a Mad dog Mattis coach in the worse way. Somebody who hates to lose and will be your best friend when you are winning.

    If I didn't say, I'll say it.

    I LIKE HIM CLAPPING!

    .

Not when we are getting are heads smashed in. It just looks beta as hell.

  4.

Right. Yet here we are in week 2 having to listen to people whine and moan about the offense as if anyone ever expected this offense to actually be good.

    .

This isn't the point, you guys just don't get it. We knew Taylor was garbage, and we decided to throw him on the field anyways. He won't be here next year and we are taking a 1st round QB next year. Why not just let Peterman get some snaps now?

  5. So let me get this straight... the Panthers were crowding the box with 8-9 guys daring us to throw downfield, knowing we couldn't throw downfield, and your guys solution is to replace the one guy who CAN throw downfield with the one guy who CANT throw downfield.

    Got it. Carry on.

What part of giving a rookie learning experience do you not understand. We want to see what the rookie can do, we are DONE watching TT.

  6. And It'll be worse against an even tougher Broncos D. Did you see what they did to a better offense, Dallas. Bills will be lucky to score any points. I too am done with TT as much as I think he is a great guy. Couldn't throw anything as others have said with anticipation. Carolina was stacking the line and daring them to throw outside... a slant... anything. Sad... the O-line wasn't great, but not horrible against their line... though they couldn't open up any holes against a stacked line. Disappointing because the Bill could have won this game with the way the D played. Guess they needed the D to score too.

Looking forward to the after show, this board is going to be fire.

  7. He did. Who runs an out pattern to go OB at the three yard line with 15 seconds to go. Because that is what you are asking us to believe. That Zay ran the right route, TT threw a wildly inaccurate pass, and it should have hit him in stride, even though he wasn't running in stride, so he can got OB and stop the clock instead of walking into the endzone for a game winning TD.

Could HAVE had. No one could OF had. Bronko Nagurski, Jim Brown, Walter Payton could not of had.

Yay, slightly more enlightened now. Who would have thought I'd learn grammar techniques on a football forum. Wish fans were more concerned about the product on the field though...

  8.

Late to the party with the incorrect assessment.

Nope try again. A real QB puts that in an area that would allow Zay to walk into the endzone. Zay was wide open, shame, I feel bad for Zay.

That's not true. If Peterman was in we would have completed about 20 passes that didn't exist and our offense would have worked in a rhythm and made about 30 first downs in a row even though he never did three in a row in preseason and he would have led us to a 28-9 lead so we never would have needed the last drive.

How hard is it to have more than 25 yards passing in the first half? You could of had 25 yards for crying out loud.
