WR is a team in need of upgrades. Tyrod and OC aside, Nathan p threw several fine passes (not all to WRs though) that were not caught.
I say draft one and FA another if able. Assuming a rookie qb next season pairing him with one rookie wr would be fine. The best EJ ever looked was his first games when he and woods were having a rookie bond connection going.

Fit the entire bills defense with metal clubs on their arms and go to town all day long. Make Brady a priority.

One game suspension is crap. Let's get the bills defense and oline all fitted up with metal arm braces for the next NE game. Clearly gronk is not concerned with his arm being tender after how he used it on a helmet.

A lousy, no good, stinking one game suspension. White got worse from the incident than gronk for sure; and the bills likely lose more than the Pats from it all. Eff the NFL.

In addition to a suspension he should also not be allowed to wear that arm brace thing in games. He is very clearly not concerned about his arm being fragile else he would not have slammed it into a helmet as hard as he could and with all his weight.
Else, I say, let's get all bills linemen and all defense secondary fitted up with them in time for the next NE game!

I'm glad we have an aggressive, forward thinking staff in here who isn't beaten down and rattled by losing. It's clear that the people running the team aren't going to settle for 1950's football.
Other than maybe SI I don't see anyone here advocating what you're putting down here. We want great! But as we saw last week - and in previous times over the last 20 years - drafting a high ceiling qb kid, calling him the magic bullet and throwing him out there behind a porous Oline and medicore receivers and less than average play calling is not a likely winning recipie.
We should certainly get a qb with our first pick but that's not the same as saying dumping TT now is a step in the right direction.

Is, say, joe flacco so much better than tyrod? Tyrod has a great deep ball with no one to throw it to, he great at not turning the ball over and great at avoiding sacks. Those last two are with half of an O line as we saw N8 P suffer through last week.
Tyrod cannot be brady as his short passes are not consistent. Brady cannot be tyrod either though - and don't slame me for comparing them as I am not comparing them but rather showing how incomparable their styles are.
We started the season strong with, initially perhaps, the worst reciving corps we have ever fielded. We did so well largely due to the turnover differential which was due to both defense and offense - and back to the half an o line and the weak receivers early on big kudos to two people on offense in particualar - TT and shady.
Is TT great? No. But he's a servicable QB who, with a great defense and a little help on offense (such as the recent wr additions) can get us places. More than one way to win after all but ya gotta understand what you have and play that up.
TT's career record is not fair either. Rex ryan and his idiot brother ruined our defense something fierce. Last year our offnese average about 27 points per game I think. They were not to blame for most of those losses.
We should get the veey best QB we can in the draft and then ease him in as appropriate. How many young QB careers have we destroyed here already? I like TT as the guy until we are actually ready to give a good kid a great chance.

I would prefer to end this season with 5 wins than get to and lose a WC game just to end a crappy streak. This year was never what it was about.

People here sure seem fickle. Three losses (this one a failed attempt to throw a rookie into the fire and last wee against a much better team right now) and so many here are just hating on everything.
This is buffalo. I sure hope you guys remember how to drive in snow and and ice better than you remember how to take a few losses.
This was never meant to be our year. Not even close. Come to grips. If the bills are ever to field a great team again it will not happen overnight from here AND it would never have happened with the ryan boys. We rid the ryan cancer and now need to rebuild our strength in most every area.

Tyrod may well be our starter next season even if we draft a qb first round. I see no need to hate on him nor rush another kid before his time. N8 Peterman is another young QB who likely saw his career killed in buffalo right off.
What i was hoping for this season was for two watkins type receivers to compliment tyrod's skillset. Two very fast, deep WRs running long long routes all day cannot be double covered and tyrod has a great deep ball in place of his laxk of shorter throws. That should also open up the opposing defense and help shady get some good stats as well.
I say keep tyrod for another season as we develope a young QB . draft a QB first and then maybe a WR or OL. So many needs right now though.

Ya know how much we hate dallas - superbowls and no goal? They do not even know we hate them. When I meet people from dallas for work I warn em to keep cool on the dallas stuff around here. They have no idea. Ha.

I reize watkins is gone but tyrod's deep pass is effortless - i would like to see more of that. Even if they don't connect half of the time or more it still makes the defense worry about it. Work with what you have - shady, deep arm and a running qb.

Coach donnie was the secondary coach who is very well respected - not the DC or HC.

I hope Sammy stays healthy and has a great career. He was not ever into Buffalo it seemed to me. Met him once when I took my son for an autograph.
He's got great skills and the prima donna WR tude to go with and this just isn't the town for that. Remember when LeSean came here from Philly and was posting for sexy ladies to party with that first summer? Buffalo don't go for that.
Buffalo is more. . . freddy Jackson not marshawn lynch. Prove me wrong.

He was good after his very first few games as a bill. The next year saw the same with darby. The year after that was the arrival of rex and our defense was hosed - those two corner backs especially were affected.
Coach Donnie (I think) was the guy who they did well under but he left or was released when rex came to town before he wrapped his stupid truck even.
By at least last year Gilmore was afraid to tackle - or simply unwilling. Good riddance to bad rubbish. He had potential though.

I don't think his point is the money - I think he's working to keep his activism in the news and moving forward. Like him or his message or not you should be able to see that this matters to him and as such he's not going to quietly go away and sit on his sofa where you need not think of him again.

7-9 would be preferable to 9-7 imo. This was never our year. We just exterminated the place of a bad ryan infestation.

The one thing thst irked me was losing that RB williams kid at the end of pre season. Wish he were here still. Can only assume it was personality or something cause he was fun to watch amd sure helped make up for the loss of gillislee who was great.

I don't get many of you at all. The ryan bums are gone! That's huge. Very happy fpr that right off. The defense is fun to watch again after two years of rex ruining it.
New coaches and this was not expected to be pur year - ever. Then the trades which told us for certain that we are rebuilding and this was not our year. Gilmour, darby, watkins. . .whatever. I like sammy but he was a prima donna receiver in buffalo plus always injured. Wish him a great career in fact but I never expected him to be here for 10 years anyhow. So we got stuff for him while we could
Our D is way better than anyone expected so soon. We are loaded with picks as well. The usual 1BD lax attitude seems cleaned up finally as well.
Who cares about this season with regards to a wild card game? Had the D not been so uch better than expected and we went 1-4 start you guys wpuld not be as unhappy I think. You'd be happy rex was gone, the team lax attitude was gone and we are heading in the right direction.
Perhaps a taste of honey is not better than none at all some times.
Chin up! Let's just hope we don't get 9 or 10 wins and then not make wild card else get crushed that game and so hurt our draft for lacking patience. I mean, who has more patience than bills fans?! C'mon!

As for dareus - who would trade for that salary hit? Unless the bills offered to pay most of it for them.
This was never meant to be our year. It's a rebuild. Been a lot more fun of a rebuild than the browns fans suffered though.

Also agree. Well stated. Hardtruth - you thought this was to be our year?! We just suffered two years of Ryan clowns and went into the season with the worst WR corps maybe ever plus a QB controversy involving only one QB! Ha. This year has been very promising save for that half a game when N8 imploded by refusing to be sacked.
Much to do yet but the culture has changed, many of the ass clowns are already gone and we have tons of picks coming up. Will next year be our year?? Nope. But maybe three years from now if they keep up the progress and perform well in the draft.
