  1. Sammy watkins was speedy.  Who cares?  I got the feeling in the second half of last season that the Bills wanted to use josh for short and medium passes and a steady rhythm of first downs; with RB also more involved.   Josh has a great arm and it's sexy to see that work but it's also risky.

I just they do more with Dalton this year in that plan.

And, sorry if rude here - I also wanted a fast wr pick #1 - but anyone who thought the Bills' next season was banked on josh throwing crazy deep bombs to a rookie WR with speed was delusional.

Then you missed it.  They did a nice profile piece on him and then showed highlights.  Kiper likes him out of the backfield especially.

Nope.  Just rewound and watched a third time.  Spectrum espn channel 26.  They were talking lions pick, showed eagles pick is in.  Never went to podium or vocally mentioned that pick but did show it at bottom of screen.  Adverts.  Returns to 49s 129 pick is in.  Talked head coach of viking for 10 mins.

Found it - about 15 minutes after pick 128 espn first mentions what the pick was and shows some davis love.  But I only knew of the pick from here.  Switched to nfl network.

  3. Pre season games matter.  I remember being at the one where Fred Jackson made his name known in the second half. They simply ran him like 7 or 8 plays in a row on down the field and the rest was history.  At least 2 games imo.

And how to cut so many players after 2 games?  And injuries over the season.  If 18 games then also increase team size to reduce preseason cuts and increase distribution of injuries and such. Though increasing team size so teams can not play their best every down would also decrease quality of NFL.

16 games and no more Europe or slatam.

Edit - and only gov't, banks and teachers have president's day off.  A lot of people but not most.

I'm good trading up, or standing pat.  A trade back would be tough.

We traded Stephon Diggs.  We have 2 receivers who are basically #3 guys right now.  We need not just an immediate starter at that position - but a guy who can be an immediate #1.

If all they needed was a WR1 then sure.  But they need more positions that can play soon.  With no 3rd round picks and only one late 2nd prudence says move back or stay put.

  5. "Let me guess, you’re a fire Sean McDermott guy?"

No, but did start to see their point with how our defense plays in the final minutes of close games.

Lindy had the Sabres lazily skating about in second quarters.  It was boring to watch and frustrating to see our lead disappear.

By some accounts Isreal is planning a response which is said may occur at any time.

Biden has told them to "take the win".  I think that's good advice for now but given the circumstances and the players I expect they'll ignore it and the situation will escalate further.

Yup.  Israel is a crappy girl friend who likes to start fights knowing her man will have to finish.  No way the US is going to keep in the background simply feeding the MIC much longer.

Israel should take the win from the feckless Iran attack and shut up
