Any idea who the strong link is after those first couple drives?
I trust Dawkins, maybe Miller, and maybe Groy (who isn't even in). After that, no one...

OL is a major problem. Was fooled last week and had hope. But no, they are the weak link.

We have two games on the moon that year and no bye week after either. Getting used to the gravity the next week will be tough.
And one of those games is that team from Uranus with that giant tight end.

Correction - I am going to concentrate on how much Beer i am drinking, I am not in regular season form so I have to work my way up to it.
One beer per quarter is the goal, today.
I'll report back on the performance in detail tomorrow.
Unless you're talking about very high-test IPAs, I would think you'd set a loftier goal for yourself than just 4 beers over a 3 hour game, even if getting back into form. At the very least, start with a pre-gamer and chug one at half-time. Get that 6 pack down and then you're on your way...

Will likely end soon when someone breaks their neck and sues the Bills.
Honestly can't believe we haven't had a MAJOR injury reported yet (broken back, head, neck, paralysis, etc).
Anyone know of a serious injury yet?

Assuming Zay good for season, stick with what we have now.
Next year draft... first 3 picks: WR, OL, LB (in whatever order makes best sense).
Fill in remaining picks with a couple more OL options (and any other depth needs).
Super Bowl 2019.

Mills has to be replaced. Groy needs to be Center (Bodine blows). Re-energized Miller helps fill 1 OG spot, hopefully. Need another OG and OT to step up.

Weeks 1-16 (17). The best 48 hours of my year. I get so jazzed up the days leading up to each game. The morning of I do a 2+ hour workout to try to calm down. My wife stays away from me (a bonus, at least on football Sunday) and I coach from the couch the entire game. I love it, though. When they win, I have a great week. When they lose, I'm miserable. It's a disease, but I don't want a cure. Go Bills.

Spiller averaged 4.8 yards per carry for his NFL career
This averages 4.8 yards too.

Your legs are as pasty white as mine. That's why you should wear sweat pants, dummy. Geesh, you have a lot to learn.

The Allen part wouldn't bother me, the trade up would. I want to win in 2018. We need our picks! (ILB, OT, C, OG, CB, WR). Honestly, I'd be fine with any of the top-8 QBs as long as we can get 5 day 1 starters in rounds 1, 2, 3. A golden boy QB likely won't even play (much) in 2018.

Yep. Timmy Chang, Ty Detmer, Colt Brennan, Eric Crouch say hi. Graham Harrell is hanging out somewhere as well. Arguably, the best quarterback in college history is now playing minor league baseball. Another one played point guard for the Knicks. People seem to really struggle to understand the idea of projection and what it takes to win in the NFL versus college. Not really sure what the confusion is on these boards.
No confusion. Just analyzing as much as possible and prior performance has to at least count for a little something, doesn't it? I'm NOT saying it is at all a primary deciding factor... just a factor. Rudolph 65% and 5,000 yds... Allen 56% and 1,800 yds. last year. Just something to look at.
-
Say what you want about Rudolph (team, schedule, system, guys around him, etc), but it's tough to argue with his stats:
Improvement every year. 65% comp pct. Nearly 5,000 yards last year with a 37/9 TD/Int ratio and a passer rating that is off the charts.
Maybe it won't translate to NFL, but at least you'd know he's put up numbers like this in the past, so physically he's capable.

He's ranked right around the middle of the pack (15th or 16th) in every statistical punting category. Good enough for me.
If you're worried about whether the punter is good enough, then the team obviously has bigger issues to deal with.

Trade up AND Trade down?
Just ran some numbers off the value chart. Hypothetical (approx)...
Trade #21 up to ~#7 (top 10), and give up #21, #53, #56
Then,
Trade #22 down to ~#32 (bottom 10), and receive #32 and #64 (a low 2nd round).
NET:
Original Picks: #21, #22, #53, #56
Trade UP/Down Scenario: #7, #32, #64
May be something creative like that?

I wanna like AJ as maybe the bridge or backup, but it's pretty obvious he doesn't have the passion and "will not be denied" attitude.
