We lost Super Bowl 25 by one, whats your point? Most games in the NFL are decided by one possession. If we dont blow the other team out we probably lose
This thread is about being optimistic. Showing we are not getting blown out when we lose. Just need to make one or two extra plays.

Points Bills lost regular season games by all of last year and so far this year.
Just need one stop or an extra score (or both).
Comes down to just a small handful of plays.

As bad as the lines were (among others), these 5 plays changed everything. Imagine if they (all or some) went our way...

NO GOOD 4 & 16 - BUF 24
(1:55 - 2nd) T.Bass 42 yard field goal is No Good - Wide Right - Center-R.Ferguson - Holder-S.Martin.
NO GAIN 4 & 2 - BUF 33
(13:50 - 4th) J.Allen pass incomplete short right to D.Knox (J.Bentley).
PENALTY 3 & 3 - NE 33
(11:45 - 4th) M.Jones sacked at BUF 39 for -6 yards (L.Floyd). FUMBLES (L.Floyd) [L.Floyd] - recovered by NE-M.Onwenu at BUF 40. PENALTY on BUF-Ta.Johnson - Illegal Contact - 5 yards - enforced at BUF 33 - No Play.

This discussion reminds me of a really stupid high school days story -
My group of friends in grades 10-12 used to have this thing we called a "Clinkscale" which was a flattening freight train of a tackle from out of nowhere. It was named from one of the great Cowboy players Dexter Clinkscale, a hitting machine safety who played in the 80's. The 'agreement' was that while any of our friends were walking about outside somewhere (preferably on grass), any of the other friends could sneak up on the group and as long as they yelled out "Clinkscale!" at the top of their lungs ahead of time and blindside truck one of the other friends! Surprisingly, there were no major injuries from this, and it made us walk around with our heads in a swivel!
Ah, the dumb years, they were fun
Ha. If I heard Clinkscale I would immediately get down on all fours and watch you go flying instead. Ha

I used to love getting hit/tackled as long as it was a good form tackle and you don't land awkward.
You appreciate the guy hitting you the right way. I think that's why sometimes guys get up and say, "Nice hit, man."
They appreciate a good form tackle. And no matter how forceful, it really doesn't hurt - kinda feels good in a weird way.

Great fantasy player. Lol. Inside the 10, he wants that ball. Great nose for the endzone. Fun swagger guy too. I like it. And can catch.

I’ve been streaming tv since it has been a thing. 0 issue with fox and YouTube tv, or Hulu when I used to have that.
it’s a device, internet connection or router problem
Nope. It's a known issue in Cincinnati at least. All my local buddies have the same issue (seen it on theirs too).
Another poster thinks it might be an issue with the local Fox affiliate. Who knows...

I’ve had YouTube TV for years and never had this problem. Could just be your local affiliate.
Maybe. I've talked with my local friends who also have YouTube TV and we all have the same issue. I didn't think the local affiliate could be the source of the problem though - figured YouTube TV would have it all smoothed out. You could be right though.

Fox through YouTube TV is worse. About every 10-15 minutes you get a spinning circle that last about 20 seconds and when it comes back it instantly goes to real time - so you often miss a play. It's not my Internet connection, it's a known issue.

Great. Figure I could just walk down to Danny's or the Big Tree for pickup afterwards....
Could just hang out at Danny's. Get a beer and a some food, watch the 4 o'clock games and let traffic clear.

At least 10 years ago... the real hitting didn't really start until 7th grade (12 year olds).
3rd - 6th grade was more just piles of kids falling over. A lot of kids quit after 6th grade cuz they see the hitting in the older games.

Switched from DTV to YTTV about 1 1/2 years ago. Best decision ever.
One of the best feelings I've had in the last 5 years, telling DTV where they can stick their dish.
Funny thing... they didn't even want anything back, told me I could keep it all or recycle.
OP - YTTV has all those features (except PIP).

So I just called Spectrum, the rep says they have nothing to do with it and gave me the number to call NFL network. Why do I get the feeling I'm getting the run around and they are going to say it's Spectrum. How ridiculous.
Spectrum in Cincinnati is showing the game on NFL Network.
Weird though, was initially black screen. I had to flip back-n-forth a couple times to other channels then it popped on.
Yeah, Spectrum blows.

Someone flipped a number. I'm going with 21. No way 12.

Has NFL Given Any Explanation Why Flag Was Picked Up?
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
I'm guessing refs are told by the NFL to do their very best not to make calls in the final couple minutes of the game that can impact the outcome, especially if they believe the infraction didn't "materially" impact the play. So perhaps when the zebra's got together after the play, they did acknowledge that he was downfield but that it didn't impact the play, so they picked it up. I very much disagree with this, of course. A penalty should be a penalty whenever it happens. But that's my guess.
