  1. At least Beth added something to the conversation. Loud mouth Rex tripping over his words and long awkward silence because his brain doesn't work fast enough to have complete and not scripted thought. Someone who rode their daddy's coat tails and defensive scheme until it died and was unable to adapt it to the modern game.

  2. The risk had more to do with Raw Talent and more Molded Pro Style Offense experience. I don't like the term pro style offense because I feel allot of elements from college have been brought up to the NFL with some success. You could clearly see in college Rosen was better at seeing plays and reading defenses and setting protections which made him head and shoulders readier to play sooner. Allen who has an incredible arm showed some flashes of reading progressions , but seemed to let his arm talent make up for his other shortcomings (things that haven't been fully developed).

I was a big Rosen for QB proponent and was seriously disappointed during the draft. That being said I am full in on Allen now and really hope he can be a great QB for the future and lead us to the big dance and finally get that Lombardi monkey off our backs.

  3. Ivory may not have had an impact and in fact a bad year last year. He has for many years made Buffalo's interior defense look bad and ran allot of our LBs over in the process if he possesses even half of that ferocity he used to run with he will be a huge upgrade from last year. He just needs to hold onto the ball. That being said Darkwa was running for the Giants which has been a black hole for RBs for a few years now and it could of just been a reflection of poor blocking and play calling.

  4. The Bills are often an afterthought, being in a small market has some distinct disadvantages less exposure for one and makes it harder being a fan because allot of moves are often overlooked or under the radar. To their defense the Bills did back into the playoffs last year and I believe there were other teams that were playing better football that didn't make the playoffs like the Chargers for one.

That being said the Bills broke the drought and made it to the dance for the first time in a long time. They have a bright future ahead of them especially if Allen can be a good QB and that offense can start scoring points, I feel the defense may have even improved this year up front and in the LB core may take a few weeks to put it all together, but that group can be special.

  5. I re-watched that 5 INT game again and slowed it down and I'm no expert, but you could see a huge difference in blocking when Tyrod went in after Peterman. I clearly saw lineman not even try to block what could be the best pass rushing duo in the League. I know this sounds like conspiracy mumbo jumbo, but the tape doesn't lie. I think the coaches knew too after the fact and that is why they feel Peterman hasn't been given a fair shake. I could be way off base too! I personally wanted to see Peterman start against Indy which ended up happening anyways. Unfortunately a blizzard makes it hard to judge passing talent.

  6. It has seemed like the lack of continuity with our defensive scheme and continuous change of direction with our Offense has been a huge thorn in this franchises side for a long time. It has always seemed that when one side of the ball is playing good the other side is terrible and more times than not it has been the offense holding us back. Had we kept Schwartz and his defense we would of still had major holes in our offense and I'm sure forever stuck in the 9-7 to 7-9 range unless we could find a QB and a really good O-coordinator. That being said Schwartz is legitimately one of the best D coordinators that I've seen rivaling Wade Phillips.

I don't think the Jags defense is easy to win against. They got where they got on their defense just like us. It was ugly for both sides and honestly Bortles running ability won them the game. That being said a decent QB should of eeked out that game we were only a few plays away.

What are you basing this on ?   As I recall, the Bengals offense didn't exactly take off with him at the helm,

Well in the 3 games that AJ played he was up and down. He had some good and some bad. He wasn't afraid to throw the ball down the field though good or bad. I didn't see him hold the ball forever and run around and get tackled for a 15 yard loss allot.

  9. I think McCarron is gonna take chances and shots down field and really open up the offense for us. Probably more turnovers, but also more fun to watch he has something to prove and that can be dangerous. I think our defense will be much improved from the flashes we had last year we solidified allot of needs especially on the dline and Edmunds will probably take a lil bit, but he is a huge upgrade from what we had. Running backs I would have to say improved and I know Ivory is not a world beater but still better than Tolbert. Our WR core the jury is still out on we didn't do allot to improve it and just need Zay to get it going and we could be in pretty good shape. Our O-line looks like it could be worse, but we are changing our blocking scheme back to similarly when we had the #1 rushing attack and if they can gel we could be alright.
