In the highly unlikely event that they were to trade Dawkins I think that might indicate that Terry is worried about the cost over-runs that are going to come out of his pocket on the big hole across the street.

Sabres fans are perplexed about why Pegula didn't weaponize his cap space to add draft capital in recent years and Terry recently issued a statement promoting "a new roof" on the arena as a sales pitch for the product.   All parts of Pegula Sports aren't spending like the Bills side has in recent years to indulge Beane's wants and perceived needs.

Really think it would be best if he sold the Sabres, although i could see some dangers in that as well.

  2. WR fatigue has set in for me 🤪, taking a small break to focus on O-line prospects. But seriously, looking forward to pro days and hopefully some interviews of these WR prospects, still think movement of order on the top 15 or so will take place between now and the draft.

Why are we fixing an O-line that's not broken. This is starting to feel like more of a overhaul than I expected

Morse was on the down side to my eyes, couple that with a really good draft group and it was time to move on. Really didn't think Beane had it in him, but i think this is for the best long term.

One of the reports Mcgovern moving to center and Edwards in a competition for LG.

Alec Anderson will be in the mix, i'm sure beach chairs had a good amount of input in this.

I'm not making any assumptions about what the oline will look like.  The press, I think is doing that based on who was active last year.  My guess is that they will likely add olinemen in the draft and have a full scale competition in camp for the starting center.

I have like our depth, and this is a draft full of offensive line prospects that we can add. Whew what a day, might be more to come🧐

I anticipated this but didn't expect it could happen until late in TC.   Thought Mitch Morse would get released and that Anderson and Bates could fight it out for the center job and if Anderson won then Bates would be dealt.   Guessing this signals that Morse is in still.   I also want to come out of this draft with 3 OL if possible and need roster spots to do that.   Lot's of good OL to be had and a good opportunity to re-set the pay scale at OL for the Bills over next couple seasons.

I feel quite sure this had to be the thought behind this, and i agree with you would be nice to walk out with 3 OL and 3WR👍

I'm against doubling down in Round 2. There's too many things we need to do and not enough money to do it in FA. We need to get another Starter in Round 2, maybe even in Round 3 too before we start looking at our 4th WR.

I'm also notoriously anti-Worthy. Worthy's too small of a body and has too much slot usage. I see him as more of a gadget player you have to put all over the field. We already have two guys in Shakir and Kincaid that I always want on the field in the Slot. And as Smith said, a body catcher. What I see Beane wanting for a True Outside WR2 (that will be our #1 one day), Worthy doesn't fit that bill or check enough boxes IMO.

Wilson is really big. But that's it. As Smith said, the guy can't chew gum and tie his shoes at the same time. Someone will take him for his size, but I'm not impressed by him either.

I meant Roman Wilson from Michigan, and to be clear i don't think we double down in round 2. But if we do😁

Right now, he may very well be my favorite of the class outside of the 3 that will be long gone. I'm more and more confident with each passing day that our guy is one of either Brian Thomas Jr., Troy Franklin, Xavier Legette, or Keon Coleman.

Wouldn't bother me a bit if we double down in the 2nd, guys like Polk, Rice, Corley and Wilson really intrigue me. Chance they could all be there.

    Throw Worthy in there too.

A mediocre kicker missing a 44-yard under major pressure isn’t a mistake. He was 2/5 in the playoffs.

And you’re preaching to the choir about drops. If KC’s receivers hadn’t led the league in drops by a mile, that game wouldn’t have been played in Buffalo.

You have to come to the wrong place to complain about drops, been near the top for a while🙄

Diggs and Allen definitely fell out and it happened in season in 2022. I was told that by two people independently of each other LAST offseason.

There was a point where the two were barely on speaking terms. I think they managed to piece some sort of relationship back together for the actual season in 2023. I wasn't told that but just looking on as a fan. But I don't think it was close to how tight they were before and I am not sure it ever will be.

Then it's time to move on, Josh needs a room where he is the unquestioned alpha no more deferring to a petulant child/man in Diggs.

Sometimes addition by subtraction is necessary, i have been in many fields in my life and seen it time and time again. Timing is right best WR draft in years, cap hit be damned figure it out Beane.

I said nothing about liberals and/or conservatives. I'm talking about big companies making tons of money. Long ago if any sporting event was "fixed" it would be done by the mob which barely exists today. The government took over their rackets in a sense.

At least with the Mob you as a normal citizen could mostly avoid it, the latter not so much🤑

I've assumed that the Bengals would just use the franchise tag on him.

They are one of the few teams that has used it regularly in recent years.

They used it on AJ Green in 2020 and Jessie Bates in 2022 and avoided long term commitments to either.

Green never bounced back from injury but Bates was very good for that 1 year and bought them time to draft and develop a replacement.

I know the Bengals can be cheap but this seems like an easy decision.........dump Boyd........get one more year of Higgins........draft his replacement this spring and allow that player to develop as WR3 in place of Boyd.

Pretty sure the knock on Tee coming out was he didn't separate, something to keep in mind moving forward.
