His route running appears very underrated to me.  He also does not shy away from contact and will at times fight for extra yards

he mentioned in an interview wanting to show teams his football IQ.

If he's smart, I'm sure the Bills have him as their WR4 or WR5

another bonus as mentioned in the clip is his return ability with the new KR rules...

Let's assume the Bills either do a smallish trade up or stay put at 28 & take Xavier Worthy

My immediate hope would be we move way up in Round 2 for Xavier Legette

I'd sign up for that draft right now.

I am sure to be in the minority, but i would take Franklin all day every day over worthy.

I rarely post, but feel I owe the community an outlandish projection. And I have earned the right.

    - KNEW that Allen was the Josh before the pick when 90% of this board had Rosen.

    - Picked Oliver as the target.

    - Sorta knew Kinnkaid was the man.

    - Strongly believed Diggs would be traded even though everyone claimed the cap was a no-go.

    - IDK, I may be in Beane's head ... that's why I need to type this. With that out of the way:

    Setting the stage:

    - Most teams now regard Malik Nabers as the #1 WR

    - MHJ dropped a bit due to non-combine participation.

    - Rome is showing up on more mocks out of the top 10.

    - AZ is going to cash in on a trade-down.

    - And if AZ doesn't, the Chargers will.

    - LAC could go WR, but almost everyone expects Joe Alt.

    - The Giants likely shut out of QB convo, will go WR

    - TN is all about an OT. Maybe like LAC.

    - Bills signed L Collins.

    - Diggs was not the only player feeling their oats on Twitter. D Dawkins was there too with his predictions. And post-season, with the googly eyes hoping he would get his extension. 3x20m.

    - LAC wants to move down, and TN needs OT too.

    The Terms:

    - If the Bills believe they have a replacement on the roster for Dawkins, he will be used as trade bait for LAC/TN.

    - Bills could then make that trade without exhausting this and next year's draft capital.

    - 28, 60, 2025 2nd for 1.5/7 + 4th.

    Projection:

    - 1-4 QB

    - LAC - Joe Alt

    - NYG select - Nabers, a diva in waiting. He will make Diggs and his passive-aggressive antics look like a straight-shooting choirboy.

    - Bills via TN - MHJ.

I may be overestimating Dawkins' return. And of course, misreading the tea leaves. But that is my Mighty Kreskin moment for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Just remember what the cigarette smoking man said😉

Our guy has to be a great runner after the catch. That’s the cherry on top. I think that’s what breaks a defensive. Sick of catch and dive guys like Diggs. Hopkins would drive me nuts because I don’t even think he could run 20 yards, it’s like he catches the ball and then just looks to dive.

I would give a great ball runner an extra notch. Just a personal thing.

You need to check out Ainias Smith, really hoping he doesn't end up in the Afc if we don't snag him.

  4. I'm back on the Troy Franklin train, looking at this class reminds me of my childhood researching the Sears catalog before Christmas😅, everything looks good and exciting.

Franklin though to me is the guy i keep circling back to, pretty good route runner ridiculous speed, think he could be our guy. Plus hearing some chipping away at Brian Thomas, giving some people Scantling vibes🧐. I don't know but i really really like Franklins game, we shall see soon enough as i am ready to have the draft done and over with, can't take it anymore far to much wr watching for me😂

Burton is a great player. Hopefully he is there in the 4th round.

He is going much much higher than anyone thinks imo. Although i will be honest i don't know much about his supposed "head case" issues. But on pure talent wowzer does his highlight reels blow me away 👍

I always love this banter. If he is as good as you are saying then why would he make it to 28. Big fast athletic contested catch WRs at 6’2 don’t make it to the end of round 1. He also dogs his routes, doesn’t separate despite his unreal athleticism and offers mimimal YAC potential

I may end up wrong, but this is my primary concern with Mitchell, don't really see the big dog mentality. Truthfully i think Coleman running a 4.6 may have helped get him to our pick, while i do have concerns over his separation, i do not over his big dog mentality on the field👊

I would take Fuaga put him at Guard which a lot of people think he’s going to be and move Edwards back to 6th man.

I do think a sneaky late round need is a blocking TE. Could see them take one in round 5

Could kick out to RT if we can't tie up Spencer, meantime he could be a kick ass guard.

Love to hear how being tall is an advantage come December & January?

In Buffalo specifically windy inclement weather makes the precision passing game more difficult. Larger big bodied receivers tend to in my opinion not need that type of rhythm timing precision passing game to excel, not that they can't, but it just sometimes comes down to the bigger boy wins.

People want to pigeonhole him as a slot because he’s White and not 6’3. Literally all the facts from his game tape, to his testing, to his comparisons put him right up there with many top outside WRs. Do the Bills take him I have no idea but the slot WR not sure he can play outside bit is dumb as hell

Think he would be best as a movement Z, with is fine because i really think we can get that bigger prototypical X later. Brendan Rice comes to mind, Later yet i really like Bub Means from Pitt. There are others as well so it could be a real possibility.
