    Barkley

    Anderson

By Nate.  Nic guy, but not an NFL QB.  I wouldn’t even put him on the PS.  We have a week off so Anderson will be ok.  If Barkley falters, then you go back to Allen.

Disagree respectfully. Allen starts for the rest of the year. Keep Barkley as the backup. Need to see what Allen has before the draft. We know Barkley is serviceable. Lets see if our kingpin starts to blossom into a real NFL starter.

I completely disagree. Mainly because you can't take a generalized approach and apply it in blanket terms. The Defense was on the uptick and is the specialty of McD and so you build on your strengths. He didn't get the Offensive Coordinator he wanted - who ironically has now been fired mid-season in his second year - and then waited for his GM to help construct the Offense. The first order of business was to get rid of guys who didn't hold a team first mentality and the second was to clear dead Cap to allow for 2019 full on rebuild.

Moreover, Mahomes or Watson in this Offense would NOT be having the same success they've found with their respective teams....for so many reasons. Additionally, taking Defense now helps to cradle a young and developing Offense because they don't feel the pressure to have to do it all right. The blow outs this year have been far more on the Offense, just like this past Sunday, 14 points came directly on TOs and another came with a poor TO in Buffalo's own end. The Defense did a decent job, not great against the Run but pretty darn good against the pass so meh job...but in other weeks they've been outstanding.

Point being, building on the strength of the coach, while allowing a new GM to define the Offense and taking a year to get financially healthy so you CAN build your Offense takes time and patience, but it doesn't mean it's wrong. It just means we all need to see the vision for the future and not focus on the present, which we knew this year wasn't about.

How dare you speak rationally on this website.

There won’t be any coaching changes after this season so save your breaths.

The Franchise hasn’t even played these last three games so it’s hilarious to me how angry so many are. These games are meaningless at this point.

Once we saw McCarron look worse than Peterman in the preseason and then traded, we should have all seen the writing on the wall: the offense was going to be atrocious.

The only hope this team had of contending for a playoff spot in 2018 was for McCarron (or Peterman) to at least be as good as Taylor was last season. Maybe Beane gave up on McCarron too early and should’ve given him two or three starts at least before getting rid of him. Then again, they never would’ve received a 5th round pick at that point. And would McCarron suddenly have become good if given a start or two? I doubt it.

No one expected the O to be this historically awful but what difference does it make? Bad is bad. You can cry all you want about how terrible the offense is but in the end, this is all about Josh Allen. He’s all that matters.

Allen will come back after the bye and get some experience in a terrible offense. Beane will upgrade the offensive personnel during the off-season and we will see if Allen improves. If he doesn’t then McDermott and Beane will both be on a pretty hot seat.

If we reach the end of the 2020 season and Allen stinks, then kiss these guys goodbye.

As for right now, anyone calling for a GM or coaching change needs a grip on reality.

Next year when 80% of the offense is different personnel, we will find out if Allen is progressing. This year is a tank year. Sucks because we are not entertained, but next year theres no excuses for McBeane.

The weed definitely slowed everything down and not in a good way considering 3 dudes wanted to beat the sh*t out of me. She's kind of a drama queen so I probably overreacted to HER reaction.

I really didn't expect these guys to actually throw down, so it caught me off guard. You live and learn.

I've been through quite a bit in life so it really didn't even phase me. I made sure I had my wallet, etc. and went about my night. What's done is done. Was just reminded of that incident because of the thread topic. I was already laughing about it a couple hours later.

That weed will cause you to hesitate every time. Been there. Lol. Spent many paranoid evenings at Ralph Wilson Stadium back in the day.

  5. As far as assaulting other fans goes, someone would have to directly insult ME....and in an unforgivable way, for me to even consider smokin somebody. We had 3 Pats fans behind us that were super obnoxious. Still...they werent making fun of me, just the Bills. So its....whatever. Its definitely not worth getting arrested over. Its a game.
