  1. I cant take this superbowl thing any more. These last 2 weeks have been insane with the Brady lovefest part 2 and the Owens injury update every hour on a daily basis, infact at one point during the last 2 weeks there was a report on Owens coughing in an Eagles trainer room. Seriously I love the regular season and watch most national games as far as monday night and sunday night, hell even the pre season I never miss a national game but this superbowl coverage has made me not wanna watch the game! You know its sad when the headline on ESPN.com is " Owens doesnt participate in walk through", are you friggin kidding me? My god how many more times do we hve to hear about Owens or the Pats wonderful run? Sorry but the Superbowl is not a football fans event anymore, it is a media circus that makes fans who never watch football a fan for 1 day of the year which is stupid since they sit through an entire game asking stupid questions or wanting to talk about the lastet budlight/monkey commercial while a team has 4th and goal at the opponents 1 yard line. These same people dont even realize its football season till the playoff commercials start running. I know its an excuse to get drunk and eat which is great but i hate all these fake so called fans who act like they are all into the teams and games and are suddenly Pat/Eagles fans...its as stupid as MTV having flag football games with musicians and athletes....im sure all the 16 year old girls really love football and care who wins. As much as I love football and The bills.....I am sooooooooooo glad this circus stops tomorrow and we can get on with the offseason and start next years run! I have to be honest i think i look more forward to the free agents signing period than the superbowl! Lets face it....the season is over when the last conference championshup has been decided or when teh bills season ends....the superbowl (sadly) has become an event that really doesnt show the true meaning of the game.
  2. so reading most of the posts in this thread....i see you feel like i do and thats the Bills wont be in Buffalo much longer!
  3. If Owens was healthy i might have a bit more interest but seriously the patriots make me sick and i dont care for the iggles much either so why do I wanna watch one of tehse teams win and assuming that team is the patriots....i cant stand seeing Bradys smug little grin with belicheck holding a trophy in his game day ''hoody/sweatshirt"! Personally I have no interest in either of these teams who are really not that good when you think back to previous championship teams, I will always wonder if perhaps the patriots are just beating mediocre teams that are just average at best and not worthy of being in superbowls....meaning could the patriots beat the Dallas cowboys or niners of the late 80's or early 90's...no way! Lets face it, the superbowl at this point is just an excuse to party (which is fine) but as far as the game being played gos, it doesnt seem as special since now the biggest thing is commercials and whos boob is popping out at halftime rather than the game. You know its pretty sad when you got MTV and Spike TV doing pregame shows whn half their viewes are people who KNOW NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT THE GAME YET ARE "FOOTBALL FANS" on that Sunday yet can only name Tom brady as a player for different reasons than football! I live in CT and its just sickning seeing all the "so called Pats fans" now busting out patriot gear when for years i saw a jacket or hat on rare occasion or when the Pats decided to stay in Mass instead of moving Hartford all theose great fans cried "im a jets fan now" so now that the pats are winning, all of a sudden everyone in Ct is a BIGTIME PATS fAN...yah right, these scumbags have no idea what its like to be a real fan and stick with a team...on a Sunday in october those great fans turn on the local news to see if their beloved Pats had won or not. Its just sickning watching this complete garbage including the great superbowl!
  4. DISTURBING!!! Whats the that blue stuff in the pasta...oh thats just mouse pellots! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,145577,00.html

  7. 2005 Nfl Playoffs = Major Bust Im so dissapointed with this years playoffs, and think they might be the most over-hyped in the last 10 years! Lets think about it. Seahawks vs Rams - great game but the problem is, both teams sucked so nobody cared anyway but this was one of the better! Jets vs Chargers - Great game but predictable with everyone knowing Marty would kill the chargers in the end but was the best wildcard game without doubt! Indy vs Denver - WHAT A JOKE, the broncos shouldnt have made the playoffs anyway! UgLY Minny vs GB - Another letdown considering GB was suppose to win and make one last run with maybe the most overated team in the NFC playoffs. UGLY Divisonal Rounds! Jets vs Steelers - best game of the playoffs but herm didnt learn from Martys mistakes the weeek before. Rams vs Falcons - (L)Rams led to the slaughter. UGLY! Phili vs Minny - i was sleeping by the half! UGLY Indy vs NE - another beating and the worse part was that this game was more anticipated than the superbowl and it was terrible! UGLY x 2 Championship games! Falcons vs Phili - Decent first half but then the Falcons decided they have had a good year and that Peerless Price is useless! NE vs Pitt - Another one of those anticipated games but fell flat as it was over 10 minutes in the game along with 60, 000 terrible towels! UGLY! The playoffs other than 2-3 games were a major bust and that being gentle about it! UGLY!!!!
  8. I think this is the first saturday id had off in yeras from djing at a nightclub on a saturday. im excited...i get to watch my Blazers get their ass kicked by the twolves on the dish...hoping the dish doesnt go out but its a nice night to just watch a little nba.
  9. thanks for the info....i hope it holds up(no pun intended)!
  10. Ive only had direct tv for 7 months and love it while never have a problem with it losing the feed and we have had some nasty little storms but today we are suppose to get a pretty strong dtorm in with 30-35 mPH winds so im just wondering how the dish tends to hold up in these type of storms assuming no branched fall on the dish! Should it last or am i screwed?
  11. What a little punk...LOL! If Travis Henry is a top 5 RB in the NFl, i guess about 16-17 teams are also looking for new running backs? http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/cont..._fins_0118.html Hey Henry did you take the 14 year old girl to the Florida Storage room to?
  12. After watching the playoffs over the years and more than ever after this past weekend, ive noticed the team who wins most games(in the playoffs or just general big games) are very very agressive and never play not to lose. I will give you a few examples in just the past 2 seasons. 1. Sherman in GB....remmeber 4th and inches vs with Philly on the ropes and he punts? 2. Dungy in indy....watch any NE game and you will see what a wimp this guy is! 3. Edwards in NY....watch the 4th qtr of Saturdays game. 4. Marty Schotheimer in SD....hes made a career of letting teams hang around! 5. Dave Wannstand....how many games did he flop under pressure? 6. Bill Cowher in Pitt...how many championship games has he blown by playing not to lose? Theres alot but those are just a few. All those coaches are great regular season coaches but they jump out at me when thinking about this topic! My point is... if you look at coaches who win in the playoffs....they have BALLs when it comes to taking the chance of going for a 4th and 1 or trying to gain more yardage in FG trys. Guys like Bellicheck, Jeff Fisher, Andy Reid, Brian Billick dont get leads and feel comfortable...they go for your throat and kill ya on every offensive possession! What scares me about mularkey was 2 games that were very important in our season when he had to decide to be agressive and he wasnt. 1. Opener vs Jacksonville....2 situations i will give ya. We had a 4 point lead most of the day and in the 4th qtr and he played not to lose rather then go for the kill on ateam we were letting hang around for the entire game and it ended up killing our playoff hopes but he gets a pass cause it was first game. 2. VS Pitt on the last weekend of teh season, we finally get all the momentum in the world(jets losing, us winning, long drive playing smash mouth football, crowd very alive) and he friggin kicks a FG on 4th and inches which ends up turning the whole game around....if we get that first down and i think we do...we win by 10 point easily! Look it, I think he did a fabulous job after all that happened and he was a rookie coach but i just hope that he learned from his mistake that you always go for the kill rather than playing not to lose and just take time off the clock....i just dont know if i will feel comfortable next year in the playoffs if we are up by 6 or 7 going into the 4th regardless on how well our defense is playing....i just prey he watched th ejets game over the weekend learned form their mistakes and his own in the last week of the season! He is a good coach and im happy to have him but next year i hope he takes the beat ya down until theres 00:00 on the clock rather than playing conservative football like many failures from the past and present....say hi to Herm, will ya?
  13. Last week i was trying to think of a team that might have a chance to stop indy and was thinking about who has a secondary that would stand a chance and i came up with only a few teams who might have a chance.....and honetsly we might have the best secondary in football! heres the other teams who are close to us! Bills....Milloy, Vincent, Clements, McGee is scary good! Pats(when healthy) not if law is released after thsi season)Wilson Samuels, Harrisson, Law is nice! Ravens.....Reed and McCalister are just top notch and can make up for the other 2! Eagles....i think they are way overated but they have Shepard and Dawkins! Thats all i came up with! Maybe Denver but i doubt it!
  14. I read that bilichick has instructed the grounds crew at foxboro to leave the tarp off the field the next few days so when it rains(and its supposed to hard) it will destroy the field turning it in a swamp where it will be impossible for th colts wideouts to run up and down the field....if this is true....the nfl should step in...that friggin cheap in my book. Pats and their fans are pierces of sh--! Fuggin Pats are unreal...if the refs dont give them the game, they will find another way! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  15. This is what Steve Francis had to say about his teamate Mobley being traded to the kings! kind of starnge for a guy to say this about another guy! "Him not being here is going to be tough for me. I don't know what I'm going to wake up for."- Steve Francis on Cuttino Mobley.
  16. I GURAN_DAMN_TEE PATS SEASON WILL END WHEN THEY PLAY INDY(obviuosly Indy has to beat denver!)
  17. hey TBONE, thats the only chance the Pats have is denver beating the colts.....otherwise Here endth the season. TbonE, i understand, I mean if troy brwon was my best corner playing the Colts, I d be preying for miracles as well but its too bad I have a better chance of doing a supermodel than the broncos beating the colts. Pats are dead
  18. With no Ty Law and Poole....they really have no chance of stopping indys passing attack! Im sure Bellicheck will keep them in teh game with his schemes but no way will teh Pats be able to cover Harrisson, Wayne, and Stokely while them worrying about Clark and James out of teh backfield. The pats will score as well, but indy will just score more making it impossible for teh Pats to have solid coverage for 4 qtrs. Now i know everyone will say, they have done it for months without these guys which is true, but the teams they have played arent the colts and will not be able to stop that prolific passing attack with Earthwind Mooreland and troy Brown in coverage LOL! Bye patsies
  19. i also feel we should let TD know how much the fan base wants nugent as a bill. i think some emails from the great bills fans would help at least letting him know we want nugent instead of that POS Lindell!
  20. In my opinion Id say it was Spikes INT vs the Bengals. Another great play was clements INT vs the steelers. So lets hear em...whats your favorite play of 2004?
  21. Calls Bills "quasi frauds", and bashes Beldsoe (deservedly). Gives props to Donahoe for McGahee pick, says jury still out on J.P. Losman, and gives us a low 2nd, high 3rd for Travis Henry. Also lists as come of his top free agents: Jennings who he has going to Giants, and Pat Williams whom he has going to the Bears. Not that i´'ll happen that way, but it is interesting that he has such high regard for them...probably means we won't be able to keep both. Just a few pieces from the article!
  22. i think Jennings is all but gome but I think we would all like to see Pat resign! Lets hope TD has a few tricks up his sleeve!
  23. i remember a few plays where the jets did things they normally wouldnt after the bills lost and im telling ya...NO WAY THEY TRY A 53 yarder in OT if we had won....that gave the rams the ball at the 43! jets knew they were in and would ahve won that game if we had beat the steelers.
  24. this is why I we can never cut Moulds...hes a leader and has helped evans more than most will ever know! Anyway....our chances do look worse and worse! Harrison saids he and manning only will play a qtr! http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20041...?tbd2053636.asp
