TT made everyone leave. They rather play with a legit QB. We let go of them and kept Taylor.LOLI said my piece in the gameday thread. Today hurts though. Watkkns, Woods, Goodwin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Matthews, Zay, Holmes
We had a surefire #1, solid #2 and an elite deep threat. Now we have a slow #2, a struggling (but talented) rookie that probably peaks as a solid 2 and some guys that don't belong in the NFL.

Yes, he is. He can actually throw.Hoyer isn't better.

this I why I thought Cardale was better for it but didn't get the chance. They gave up on him too fast. If anything he deserved a shot before Yates. But life goes on.This system does not fit Tyrod at all. Instead of creating a system around his strengths, they installed a system where it highlights his weaknesses. For example, against Carolina notice the route depth between our wr and theirs. Cam would drop back either 5 or 7 steps and his wr would mostly have a route depth of 15 to 18 yards. With the Bills, a majority of the play calls are 3 step drops with 8-10 yards per route. Tyrod is not a 3 step qb who can get rid of the ball quickly. For Tyrod, they should be doing the same thing they do in GB. Deep drops, move around in the pocket and take shots down the field. And before everyone starts with "I can't believe you are comparing him with Rodgers" chill out. All Im saying is his biggest strengths are being to buy time in the pocket and attack the down the field. He's proven two years in a row that he can lead a top 10 offense in points with a system designed around his strengths. They should just play Peterman if they don't want to adjust the offense for him. It is a complete disservice to him and the team to have him in this type of offense.

To me he, has had enough chances to be not good but great. This year 3 as the starter and year 8 in the league. How much more???. What you're saying is that everything around his has to be perfect? No, the first year starting 8-8; excuse- well it's his first year he's gonna get better.( He had every weapon) Second year, it's the defense and no Sammy.(excuse) This year great defense,(excuse) well our offensive line is not playing well plus no Sammy. Listen, he is not getting better, he is getting worse or the same but definitely not better. 125 yards is better. 15 in the first half. LOL. That excuse attitude is what makes the bills sorry. They love him too much personally. But this is a Business.Look, don't stop believing in Tyrod. He has the stats to back up that he's gonna be good, that's more than a feeling. He can Take it on the Run. While you and everybody's working for the weekend, He's our blue collar man.

yes they were better but not good enough to win consistent. His numbers were good when he had Watkins and Woods on the field healthy. Much better than when they were not, so you're wrong here.

In parts I agree. Maybe the system has taken a bit of a toll on the running game. Now it is important to have a running game, that is correct. Now in the NFL game sometimes a team's running game may not work at times. However, the other option is to pass the ball to open up the run. Now if you can't even pass the ball with 9 in the box then you're in trouble. Just like you can rely on the run to set up the pass. As far as TT. Last year they would run early in the game and succeed. Then when better teams figured out how to stop the run game and make him be a qb, we usually lost the game. Because you have to make the defense be honest. Also 3 or 4 yards in the air to extend drives is needed to keep your defense off the field. Now TT was also a captain of three and outs. By no means I'm saying that Rex's de was the best. But I will say the played a lot of plays in which they were exhausted. Then when the team is behind with the game on the line the qb has to be sharp. TT continues not to do it when it matters. Even if the o line is not perfect because he is 3 million miles from perfect specially with the game on the line. So quit sharing the faults. He is just not good enough period.......Good points. I'm not sure many would have expected this. Not much reason for hope.

to run play action you have to be able to run the ball. Thanks for the posting Bocephuz. I look forward to these. What these postings reinforce for me...
I don't think TT is the long term answer. Stands in the pocket too long, tucks and runs when there are open receivers, doesn't let his receivers make plays.
I am not impressed by the receiving corps, but it's early in the season and most of them are new to the team.
I am not impressed by the play calling. Not enough options, roll-outs, play action, etc.
I am worried about the offensive line (obviously).
Shady is great but he can't carry the team.

people that are blind to see the reality have to make up excuses all the time. Last year he had Woods and the speedster and Charles Clay. Why didn't we win? Even with a bad defense there were games we could have won if we had a QB.Ooo no its not fair we ask a 7 year vet, 3 year starter, multi millionaire play freaking QB. Not fair at all
Be a QB. Adapt and you know the the position better. It is east to chuck it up there and let your WR make a play. Alot harder to be a QB
Also the reality is the no deep threat is an excuse
There is more than enough speed with these WRs to take the top off
And 2016?

you were in favor of him staying.I'll tell you another thing that is pissing me off about Tyrod... Quit saying "we will learn from this" and "we will keep working to get better" in every press conference. You ain't a coach brah and no one gives a **** about your work ethic at this point. Stop sucking every other game you play. Stop placing blame on the entire offense and take the blame yourself. You are the quarterback of a team that scored 3 points in a professional football game.
-
you thought I was crazy this summer. You supported TT a lot now you come to realize the truth. This is where I am at......
Almost didnt get up from a hit today as it is.
And Im not wishing it....I just think forcing him to sit in a pocket is a recepi for disaster.
-
This is what I knew as soon as they resign him. Everyone in the league, the fans, were all hyping him. All defending him. All so sympathetic. The no receiver excuse. No no no you are right I don't care if we bring back Sammy and Beckam with TT we will stink.Yeesh, youre right. 3rd offensive coordinator yielding the exact same results is a problem. I refuse to believe that Dennison is at fault.
because they score a million against sorry teams. How did the Bills end up 12th and 10th in scoring the last two years?
-
you thought I was crazy when I said TT would fail. I remember.IN!
-
-
I said that over the summer. He can't passss the ball. And I like Mason Rudolph. Look guys, teams are gonna load the box and make Tyrd (No O) beat them.
-
I don't wanna get into that now. But TT has no excuses. None what so ever. 125 yards. It's like high school. Now buy the way he did loose his staring job in college but when he started the games he started he won a national championship and did not loose a game. Yes, he got benched for a better Barrett. And they lost to Michigan State. Barrett is starting for his 3rd straight season. And has not won a championship. Though there is still hopes of OSU winning it. They better not loose another game because the Cardale will be the best man standing at OSU. We then can say, he was benched but they couldn't win without him. For yo info.I dont like Tyrod any more than you but I really dont know how you come to this conclusion on Jones. He lost his starting job in college and was very underwhelming in his only NFL start. Think hes closer to a journeyman backup than legit NFL starter.
-
Prove to me that I'm wrong. Meanwhile what I'm saying and what I've said holds water. You guys were so happy when he plays good against once again and again sorry teams.
-
therefore we will continue to be a sorry team.Good for you.
What team are you going to root for now? He's still the starter for the Buffalo Bills.
I see Noogie's here.
This must be an enlightening discussion

Player please. After TT performance you haven't got out of the covery room by thinking he gives us the best chance to win. LOL!!! He gives us a better chance to pick high in the draft next year. And that goes for all of you TT supporters.I hope someone took your keys so you don't try and drive.
-
hey, he is making everyone that supports him look bad specially McD.TT is 16-15 in games he has played in. Jones is a huge project pick that stinks. Maybe they need a new QB, but Jones wasn't it.
He shares the blame, but so does the O line and WR corp.
-
I agree. That's our best case scenario.Keep playing TT... We'll get a higher draft pick!
-
Better than TT higher ceiling than TT. I rather see a player that is expected to make mistakes. Than to pay 10 mil to a I that should make those nonsense throws. And that TT supporters like yourself really do not have room to even be here. TT has been babyed and excused for playing sorry. Yes, I can tolerate a younger player. What does Cardale have to do with anything? He's trash too.
-
we just need a better QBBoth at times. But the right side of the line is a huge issue. No way to blame taylor for that
Excuse me. The west coast is design to run, short passes to set up the long pass. TT could hit either. That pretty much sums it up.
a little. You still have to be able to passss....Exactly.
-
You 100% correct. I've said it all along. That's why I say we should of kept Cardale.Even Tyrod's biggest supporters have to know deep down that this guy isn't part of our future. It's painfully obvious that we will never have a good or even average passing attack with him as our starter.
-
no no no. He could have done better than 125. It comes to show he doesn't have what it takes. Like I've said since we kept him. I do not care what weapons he has. He holds on the the ball too long and he can't throw. Can't extend drives. Now tell me our defense is at fault. That's my biggest take away from this game. We'll confirm it in the All 22, but my impression was the Panthers D gameplanned it perfectly. Shut down the run, play the receivers tight, dare someone to beat you downfield. You don't have a true downfield threat, and even if you did Tyrod is too indecisive/cautious to take advantage of it. What we saw today was what happens to a big play based offense when the big playmakers are missing - McCoy shut down, and no one else to turn to.
I love narratives to make points - SF Defense & Watkins
