To me the real issue is how much can he “hide” until it is playoff time? It seems to me the Bills have had limited success in the playoffs because other teams - mainly the Chiefs, had them figured out.  The Bills have hardly been a consistent juggernaut in the post season in any phase of the game.  Both last season’s and the 13 seconds losses show the Bills need to be just a little better and a lot less predictable to get over the hump.

Don't hide anything. Get so good at it, that it doesn't matter what the defense does. If you want to hold back a few trick plays that is fine. But learn to excel at the offense and then they can't stop you. What we need is the playmakers to step up come playoffs. Last year: Diggs gave up, Davis was a mess, Dawkins needed to not get walked back, No pressure on D, etc.

The difference is KC's D was healthy and got good. And they had guys make clutch plays MVS, Rice, etc.

I am officially retired from speaking on the matter any further.

I spent 16 days voicing my concerns. People started to turn on me. I was really harshing their mellow.

So from now on, I'm just gonna stick with 🤐 and hope for the best.

I think the angst comes from people saying it looks bleak. I mean it's a valid opinion at this point. But also we just don't know what will happen. We could be pleasantly surprised or extremely disappointed.

I see this as refreshing. Diggs was mailing it in by the end of the year. Plus his attitude. Gabe was bad and him and Allen were not clicking.

Shakir and Kincaid were coming on strong and should be better. Both have higher ceilings then most think. Coleman walks and talks the part. I like is tape. He could thrive in Buffalo. Plus all the other guys are hungry!

This could end up being a very exciting group to watch. I am more optimistic than most. And I wanted a double dip at WR in the draft. Always felt a trade was out of the equation anyway. Unless they all struggle, then maybe a trade happens before the deadline.

Feel free to wait as long as you need. We can wait. Seriously though, why wait? Everybody knows it's just a semi-educated guess at this point. I promise I won't crucify you if you guess wrong. Go on.

Oh sure you say that, then get em GIF

No way this happens IMO.  Davis was a beast at the college level and looks built to impress at the pro level.  Johnson hasn't done much outside the end of last season in spot duty.  I am hoping to see lots of Davis in the backfield this year.

Maybe, but they like to ease rookies in. It wouldn't surprise me to see Ty getting the #2 on the chart and the start. At least for the beginning of the season.

You think Ty Johnson will be aheadof Ray Davis on the depth chart?

With this regime, Ty will be #2 to start, but if Davis flashes and he could be the defacto #2.

One interesting thing I read today is that, because of the way compensatory picks are calculated, the Bills may want to limit the snaps of Mike Edwards and Mack Hollins this year, because if they exceed a certain amount, it jeopardizes the two picks the Bills are scheduled to receive.

Similarly, to ensure the best chance at receiving the picks they think they'll be getting, the Bills have to hope that Tim Settle plays a lot of snaps for Houston -- but Houston is surely aware of this, too, and may limit Settle's snaps for their own compensatory pick reasons.

Just a fascinating aspect of the minutiae that goes into calculating compensatory picks. I have no idea whether or not the Bills care enough to actually limit Edwards and Hollin's snaps. To be honest, I bet they do.

I bet that is why they never reveal the rules for the picks. It allows them to mess around with them and leak some crap like playing time matters. They ought to dish out the picks biased purely on record. Worst team gets the best pick. Every team over 500 nothing.

It's not. If you read any of my posts it's based on game film of him never separating from db's. They are on him like discount coats from Macy's

So what, he will out catch the coat and if not be getting PI penalties. We wont care about separation when he is catching the ball. Diggs didn't constantly seperate. And the 1/2 of the year he would likely drop it if he had.

I keep seeing people comparing fans’ reactions to the Coleman pick to the wrong Josh outcry when Allen was drafted. This seems utterly ridiculous to me, as their situations are pretty far apart. Josh Allen was as boom-or-bust of a prospect as they come. He was most likely to either be a star or a complete waste of a pick, and there was unlikely to be any Inbetween. Whereas Coleman, his ceiling according to most is a 2, and his floor is a depth receiver, a red zone threat with good hands, but not enough impact in the middle of the field to be a starter. Really am not seeing the comparison at all.

Situation not the same, but the reaction from fans were. They Wanted AD or Worthy or BTJ...etc so Coleman is going to bust because of it. I heard groans more than excitement, just like when we selected the right Josh.

It's going to take a few years to find out if Coleman is good enough. But they took a football player, rather than the hyped fast guy ever. Those track stars are bad football players. We learned that lesson with Goodwin. All the other guys had their flaws. And Coleman has game speed, I don't care what his 40 time was.

I wonder if Arizona wants to come up to 32 for switching our 4th for one of their thirds.  We would only go back a few spots from 32 in the second.

Well since the next pic is ours at 33, that is impossible. But sure I'd go back form 33 a couple slots for another 3rd rounder.
