1. a few things...

    1) who the hell is JaMarcus Russell? if i have never heard of the guy, i dont think he will be the #1 overall pick.

    2) "Charlie Frye looks like a nice, young quarterback." . what is this guy smoking. Frye is a bum and everyone knows it. i see them getting a FA QB at the very least. but peterson would be a good pick for them.

    3) Ginn, Jr. gives the Bills a threat on offense and special teams." more offensive weapons is a good idea, but we have bigger needs elsewhere, and we definatly dont need help on special teams (especially not from our #12 overall pick).

  2. how long does it take to test a substance to see if it is a drug? i dout it takes 3 days.

that said, who the hell does that? this ant a 80s cop tv drama where they taste the drugs on the spot to see if they are real. sounds like the security people did their job, and a stupid chick learned a lesson.

  3. the bills need a Beast DT, pass catching automatic mismatch TE, a beast MLB to replace Fletcher, a Top notch CB to replace Clements, and maybe a O-lineman or 2.

i am hoping FA can fill most of those needs.

any position that we dont fill with good young FA tallent, we should look to get with that 12th pick. if that means drafting a player, ok. if that means trading that pick for a solid franchise player, ok.

look back at past drafts and look who was taken with the 12th pick. some great players were found there.

so im not agenst it, but i dont think we are in a "must trade" situation.

  4. The real answer is that the NFL gives you four options, and college gives you five. In the NFL you can receive, kick, defend one goal or defend the other. And the other team gets those four choices in the second half. In college they give you those four, plus the defer option. Which then allows the loser to have those four choices in the first half, and your team those four choices in the second.

    well said.

i would only add that when a team wins the toss and defers, the losing team will almost always choose to recieve. they do this because if they choose to kick it away, then the team who won the toss could elect to recieve in the 2nd half and basically get the ball to start both the 1st and 2nd half.

  5. ...I think that DeMeco Ryans deserves it more than London Fletcher, and it really sucks that both of them couldn't be named as alternates.

Wilson doesn't deserve it, but Fletcher obviously does, and what DeMeco Ryans has done as a ROOKIE in HOUSTON is huge.

Ryans deserves defensive rookie of the year, bu not a probowl bid. he leads in tackles, but doesnt have the INTS, Sacks, or Defensive TDs that fletcher has.

  6. my friend, who is a HUGE giants fan, reminds me of the "wide right" on a almost daily basis. but i didnt watch that game cus i was so young. i watched the comeback but again, i was very young and didnt really care.

I do remember the music city bull sh-- forward pass pisses me off more than anything. i watched it live, i watched the replay. it was a forward pass, and people saying it wasnt jsut pisses me off more.

my best memory has to be he bills dominating the pats several years back in the first game of the season. i was drunk at a sports bar chearing the bills and laughing at the fin fans because they lost to the texans i think. LOL.

another great moment was Kelly's HOF speach. i remember holding back a few tears as he talked about his son.

  7. No offense to Fletcher-Baker but Nate should be priority #1.

    866970

    i would disagree.

we need a top notch #1 CB, but great ILBs arnt exactly as easy to find in FA.

Signing fletcher should be our #1 priority.

    re-signing/finding a replacement for clements is #2.

  8. Perhaps Saban is using Matthews as a way to figure out what line audibles Losman will be barking out at the line of scrimmage.  He probably couldn't find any tapes of the Bills with the audio on it.  F'ing Saban.  Cheater  :censored:

    865921

it is not uncommon to see a team sign a guy who used to play for the opposing team, a week before the game. they are trying to get an edge.

i hope to god we see what the fins have/are doing and change all our audibles and verbal calls.

  9. Carolina (since i live in NC)

    and

a tie between the Chargers and Detroit. Im a Rivers fan (since i live close to NC State) and LT is awsome to watch, and i am also a fan of thier backup RB who is injured this season. Detroit also has young players i like but they suck and beat the bills so they dropped a bit in my mind.

  10. players puke all the time. no big deal.

after i puke im usually hungry, (and feeling much better, usually after a long night of drinking).

he came back in the 2nd half and ran well.

if anything i saw a big diffrence between a-train and McGahee. McGahee usually picked up good yardage, A-Train ran forward and got tackled. A-train has ran well for us and i want to keep him around as a reliable backup, but McGahee's running ability definatly showed.

  11. I was looking at nfl.com's stats on our players and saw that fletcher has 1 td.

but i seem to remember 2 TDs, one off an INT and another off a Fumble. Could yall help me out. am i just imagining this? or maybe i was mistaken and another player recovered the fumble and ran for a td.

how many TDs does fletcher have this season?

  12. i remember hearing the announcer say that the clock should be running but the refs stopped the clock for some reason.

i also remember them saying that the refs "have now changed the clock", so i was under the impression that no time was gained or lost because of the mistake..

either way it didnt change the fact that we didnt recover the onside kick. :D

  13. i dont want another rookie O-lineman starting for us next season. if we get lineman they need to be quality skilled FA players that can open holes that i could run through.

    1) resign Clements. Teams target and pick on McGee, i would be terrified if he was the #1 CB on the team. dont get me wrong, hes good and i like both his CB and kick return ability, but hes not a #1 corner.

    2) DT. we need a penatrating DT in this cover 2 D, ok, but we also need him to stuff the run. so basically we need a great beast of a player who can do both stop the run and penatrate and disrupt the back field. we will not get a player like that in the draft. we drafted a DT in the 1st last year and he is supposed to be a penatrating DT. he will be usefull in the rotation. We need a Probowl runstopping DT, PERIOD. Tripplett is a good complamentary DT, but we need a guy who will demand a double team on both passing and run plays to free up our (in my mind) 3 probowl calaber players.

    3) Will valarrial be back? he is out for the year and was supposed to be great when we signed him. i could see us signing 1 if not 2 FA big name OGs in the offseason.

    4) TE. this is my wildcard. we need a Te that can catch 50-60 passes a season and create mismatches in the passing game and help more than a 3rd or 4th wr can in the run game. a stud DT is #1 on the list, looking for a TE should be #2. if there are none, then ok.. move on down the list, but if there is one out there that can make a serious impact on our team, i say we have to seriously look at getting him.

in the end, i think we should be set as a team BEFORE the draft. we can not be looking to have our 1st rounder fill a gap and start his rookie year like we did for several rookies this season. i would even be for trading our 1st rounder for a stud DT.

    sign FA:

    clements

    DT

    OG

    OG

    Draft:

Best player available to add depth to a roster spot.

  14. i hate chris collinsworth. He didnt make an ass of himself last night, but that doesnt change anything.

i hate his opinions on teams, players, even plays. i hate how he somehow always works in his past playing time in to every single conversation. i hate how he says a team sucks one day, then is proclaming them great the next and says he like the team the whole time.

I dont like when the announcer is bigger than the game they are announcing. every time he speeks its as if he is the center of attention and the game is just the background music.

i dont know the other announcer but he seemed ok to me.
