Exactly. I don't understand what people don't understand. The timeout was 100% the right call. It wasn't like they were trying to rush the FG team on with 8 seconds and no timeouts. They had 20 seconds. If the clock would've kept running, they'd have kicked it because they have nothing to lose at that point. Once you call the TO, then if they miss it, they're giving the ball to Josh Allen at midfield with about 15 seconds and 2 timeouts. Pretty much automatic points for the Bills at that point.

There was an uncalled false start on the TB Touchdown, by the way. Inexcusable that the officials would miss that.

They had 20 seconds. there's no "rush" there. The fact that he called the TO actually made TB not even attempt the field goal, taking a possible 3 points off the board. Their kicker has already made a 57 yarder in that direction. At least with the timeout, if they do miss the FG, you'll get the ball at midfield with 15 seconds and 2 timeouts. This feels like just looking for something to complain about. It was the right decision, and TB didn't get points.

All the more reason to let your offense loose. Get up a bunch and force Baker to throw it.
