Could that be an option?
Name him the starter now ? are we done with QB shopping already ? We still got the draft , free agency and TC to go through I just don't understand the thinking behind this .

can anyone say for sure that Joe Webb will even be on the roaster after the TC ?

Guess we’re on the same page then !
What about guaranteed money ? That’s where I’m a little worried , I’m sure you know why
I think anything more then 4 years $22 million with $15 mill guarantee ( would be very risky)
In my opinion of course ...

btw 12 mil per? Lmao. Casey heyward just signed for 9 and he’s an all pro.
That’s what everyone we’re saying that he’ll be looking for in free agency , personally I think $7 million is what he’s worth when healthy , what do you think he’ll be looking to get ( not what he’s worth ) but we know the importance of a good CB now days ,
-
I’m pretty sure will be drafting another CB
( and we should IMO ) maybe even as high as a 3rd round

Look I like EJ he did a good job for us and we were a better defense with him on the field , at the same time I don’t believe we need so called shut down CB ( $15 million ) in McD defense ,

Would be amazing! !!
Why wouldn’t he try and see what he can get in an open market ? IMO I don’t think he gets top 10 CB money , not even because of injury concerns but is he really a top 10 CB ? I just don’t see anyone paying him $12 plus million a year , I sure as hell hope we don’t

Another idiotic thread.
We finally in a position we’re we have enough amunition to pull the trigger and try to get our guy , so now it’s just too much pressure to risk all our picks on a QB , because all the other positions are 100% guaranteed not to be a bust ,

Face it, there's way too many unknowns and too much pressure to move up into top 5. Franchise QBs are overrated anyway.
Best move is to relieve the pressure and move back.
Franchise QB’s are overrated ??
I don’t even know how to respond to that ,
I understand that nothing is guaranteed even if we move up to top 5 , we might still not get our franchise QB and IMO there’s only few right now in the league , but if we get a good young QB ( maybe NOT franchise ) but a good young QB that we could build around and win with , that’s ( STILL ) worth moving up in stead of being stuck in neutral like we were for the past 20 years

oh maybe because he sucks and has done so for years.....opposing defences love him cause he completes the ball to them way more than his own WR's..and he just cries out "complete team player" (sarcasm)..im glad we're starting fresh at the QB position...i am over the moon over it but i would take taylor any day of the week if the choice was cutlet and tyrod.....
What Cutler did to the Patriots last year your boy Tyrod couldn't do that in his dreams , Cutler obliviously doesn't give a **** and has more then few screws lose we all know that , but as far as standing in the pocket and throwing the ball we all know how great Tyrod is ( sarcasm )

You bring in whoever you don't have to give a long term deal or over pay to land. After all the plan is to draft a rookie and let him take over sooner rather than later.
Exactly this ^^^^^
If I remember correctly McClown didn't want to come to Buffalo and picked the Browns instead, the Browns for crying out loud

Why hasn't Schmidt been cut yet? I feel he single handedly lost the playoff game for us. With any good punting we win that game.
Or half decent QB play ? ?

Per incarcerated Jerry the pinball fairy, per a regional CFL scout’s Step-Uncle, Case Keenum uses the bathroom from time to time (1 & 2). Buffalo needs a QB, and would benefit from bringing in a veteran on a reasonable 1-2 year deal. Case loves chicken wings and plays QB. Buffalo has wonderful bathrooms. Just connecting the dots. Buy land in Cheektowaga, northsouth of the Galleria mall. Domed stadium with natural grass field. You heard it here first.
Do you really believe that Keenum is looking for a 1-2 year deal ?? At reasonable rate ?

From everything I have heard, he is progressing well, and I believe he should be ready for the beginning of the offseason program- which, of course, is a positive sign...but, you just never know until he works out and plays on a consistent basis...how will the ankle respond.
Thanks for the info ?

It just seems hard to believe that any team would give up much for Glenn unless he’s able to be ready for TC
-

Totally agree, but I think you also have to take into consideration his contract, which I would think would be a little prohibitive...and remember, we are a talking about a guy who didn’t really play last year... you have to think of it as a Bills fan if the roles were reversed...would we be thrilled giving up more than a 4th for a guy that we weren’t sure if he could ever play at a top level again? so, while he COULD be great, it’s still a big gamble imo.
What’s the latest on Glenn’s injury ? Is he making any progress ? Just wondering if anyone heard anything !!

Bradford and Mayfield
I think if we get Mayfield there’s no need for Bradford ,
i really Like Mayfield IMO he’s the best QB in this draft ,
1 minute ago, billsbackto81 said:My thoughts exactly! You’re not getting Tyrod for a naked turkey sandwich. The days of taking advantage of the Bills organization is over.
That being said I’m not opposed to the idea. Only I would not spend a 1st on Rudolph, he should be there at 53. BPA combo of DT, LB or WR at 21 and 22 and Rudolph at 53 would be ideal ( if that’s the plan).
Personally I’d rather give a 2nd and 4th for Foles than just buy Bradford.
I don’t care who we get as a vet QB as long as we draft QB of the future , unless of course FO doesn’t believe in any QB’s in this year’s draft ,

First off. Great move my Beane getting rid of Tyrod, especially for a 3rd. I would of took half a turkey sandwich for him.
With that said, sign Bradford for around 10 mil a year and draft Rudolph at 21 or 22. I don't think Beane wants to give up all those assets to move up in the draft...even though I think they are high on Allen
We will still have plenty of picks to improve the team.
I hope you are 100% wrong , one can’t stay on the field and the other one needs couple of seasons of the field

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of value in trading players this season...if we could get a 4th for Glen, given his contract and injury, I would be happy.
You would be happy with a 4th for Glenn ??
i know there’s injury concerns but he’s a top 10 left tackle ,

Well the answer is both.
Bridge QB in FA and franchise QB in the draft.
I have a feeling it is going to be Darnold.
God I hope NOT

Ragnow, Harrison Phillips, Mayfield and Evans would be a killer draft! Where do I sign up?
I would be happy with just getting Mayfield everything after that is pure gravy !!!!!!

I compared him to Cam because his size and how he plays football. Jackson mostly compares to how Cam Newton plays. Now if the way he plays the game was like Kurt Cousins I would have compared him to Kurt Cousins.
Or Jamarcus Russel

No....just No.
This team has a number of holes to fill and Dawkins has shown he has the ability to be a franchise LT, and on a Rookie contract....you don't trade that away. If you're going to trade someone, as I'm sure others have already said I don't need to read previous comments to surmise this, you trade Glenn.
Personally, I would rather not trade either of them, but if it has to be one of them, then it's Glenn....no question.
So your telling me that ( for example of course) we have the deal with the Giants / Colts in place the only issue they want Dawkins instead of Glenn and McBean says no and walks away from trade deal ? Because I guess Dawkins is more important to the team and would be so much harder to replace that McBean would just walk away from a chance of FINALLY getting our potential franchise QB !!!
17 minutes ago, Ittakestime said:Because I understand what it takes to be a consistent winner and understand that you need to give to get. Sorry but I am trading a good LT for a chance at a franchise QB. Can't believe how many people wouldn't after watching Brady chew us apart all these years.

Of course it was he made sh,it load of money , now as far as the team/Bills if you have to ask that question I guess you already know the answer , I know people will point to the playoff/game but let's not also forget the San Diego/benching .
IMO no !!
