Brissett also didn't have LG Nelson (R) or RT Braden Smith (R).
I also think C Kelly missed almost half the season. Watch Kelly and see how many times he calls out presnap blocking adjustments.
Funny Buffalo could use a C, RT and LG.
Don’t disagree but bringing back an all pro QB and and offensive minded coach doesn’t hurt is all I’m saying.
I defintiely agree we need atleast 3 OL

Agreed and to keep him ahead of Coleman after trading for him.

Watching the Colts game right now once again they put the graphic up of the offensive ranking from last year of the Colts and then with the addition of their first round pick and additional upgrades, Luck's O-Line is night and day and they are dominant! This has to be the focus of the draft and free agency.
I saw that. Obviously changing from Brissett to Luck matters too along with Reich but I agree, let’s get better up front!

Eifert needs to worry about being employed by anyone if he can’t stay healthy

You still need a three technique. There are basically two who are going to be on the market, Sheldon Richardson and Grady Jarrett. Grady doesn't make it to free agency. I still think our top ten pick is a defensive tackle. That's where the talent and value is.
Can Phillips or Harry play 3T?
-
Either way. If we are able to add a pass rushing DE in FA then we could go Offense all the way in the draft.

I think Flowers can be that guy opposite of Hughes. That’s my #1 target for D.
I like Flowers too. Would really like Preston Smith from the skins if he hits FA also

How about Demarcus Lawrence from the Cowboys? More likely that cowboys can’t resign him.

Definitely not the right “DNA” don’t see it happening. Won’t get the touches he wants more than likely, and will be a diva. Rather make a run at AJ if we go this route.

I would love to see them make a run at Clowney to replace Murphy. Keep Shaq and Hughes.
I know the Texans do a lot of things with Clowney in terms of moving him around and creating matchups. Wonder if there is even a chance he gets out of the building.
-
I think Clowney would be a perfect pick up then we could go offense in the draft. 2-3 OL in FA also. CB somewhere. Then offense, offense, offense.

Ok.
Who do you see them comparable to in terms of skill set?

Plays like a young Andre Johnson.
N’keal Harry reminds me more of Andre Johnson. Honestly hate to say it but Metcalf reminds me more of a Randy Moss

Hill is in my top 3 for RBs. My #1 is Myles Gaskin of Washington.
I like this guy. Shifty/fast. Never watch Washington on east coast. Run with some attitude too. Similar size to Hill. Wonder if he will be regarded as too small.
-
I like Justice Hill our of Oklahoma State. Shifty runner with some speed.
Wouldnt mind a downhill rinner bit agree with what most are saying that we need someone that can catch too

Good to see the FO holding people accountable and not keeping them around like past regimes.
I feel that is the biggest thing to take from this. Besides a new OL coach. Last year OC needed out, they recognized it and got it done. Now We need a new ST coach

He was part of the problem, but the far larger problem was the lack of talent.
Guys like Vlad, Newhouse and Bodine were bad before they ever got here.
That's on McBeane.
I agree on this year, but last year they under performed with much more talent

Don’t really know many “good” OL coaches. Any ideas on who they may have in mind that would be a good hire?
-
Not a “process” guy. If we go this route I would rather get AJ
-
If you look at starting lineman across the league they are found throughout the draft. All rounds.
We need lineman and will have a better idea after FA.
Lineman are tough to figure out translating to thr league and there have been countless top ten bust of recent memory. Gotta go BPA even if it’s a CB
-
I wouldn’t be opposed to acquiring him with late round pick but not sure he is a “process” guy
-
I think they could wait a year because RB generally translates pretty well but Justice Hill is the guy I want if we take one.
The way that I see we take an RB in round two is if we traded back in round one and get an extra pick.
-
I see a lot of people have us getting Matt Paradis as their big pickup. Honestly I don’t watch OL enough to know if he any good but does everybody know he’s gonna be 30 next season? I don’t know if I wanna give a guy a five year expensive deal moving into his 30s
Build a dominant O-Line!

I agree there are some teams with a lot of cap but not to the over drafting situation. OL is so different from other positions, starting OL is found in almost every round. If you look at just the sought after Centers becoming FAs they are UDFAs to 1st rounders. Gotta go BPA IMO. Hopefully it’s offense and potentially OL if it’s right.
Either way way it sounds like we are on the same page. Let’s get this OL dominant and let Allen just toss bombs.
