There is like legit 8 RBs that I wouldn’t mind picking up in this draft. I think moving back into the 2nd or taking one in the 3rd to make sure you get the guy you want is a good plan. But man RBs and WR is deeeeeepppp
-
I feel like there is some elite DL talent at the top of the draft and that is problably the way we will go. White would be a little big of a luxury pick but would make our LB core elite.
I feel like WR and RB are really deep into the 3rd/4th round with potential starters. So we will prolly pick one of each in there hopefully and go TE in the second.

He's very shifty, but he's gonna struggle to get the edge against faster LB'ers at the next level. JMO
Agree, I really like his style of play and elusiveness and good vision but speed is lacking. Still think he’s gonna be pretty good

Could Beane really sign a SIXTH offensive lineman this offseason?!
That's gotta be some kind of record...No doubt. Really don’t see us taking an OL in the first 3 rounds if we pick him up.

I don’t know anything about this guy. What I am gathering is he is another body with potential right? Not a definite starter? Or do we think this guy will be plug and play at LG

I agree with that. The only one that drafted last year who they brought in for a visit was Allen. But they brought in 2 1st round LB - Roquan Smith and Vander Esch. So even though it was obvious they were taking a QB first, they clearly were targeting a LB high too and got one.
Exactly

Thanks for posting this. I feel like it’s not necessarily the player they have in but the positions they are looking at and general round they are looking for that positional value is what is most to gain from this IMO.

This is one of the worst ideas this season. We do not need another old guy to be paid a couple million dollars to be our 3rd back. I hate the idea. Draft Devin Singletary in the 3rd and cut Ivory. You get younger, cheaper and better.
Agree but like Miles Sanders, Josh Jacobs and Justice Hill.

So in one day of "unofficial" negotiations the Bills accomplished the following:
1. Acquired a CB with 1st round pedigree who will hopefully push Levi and provide solid depth
2. Methuselah joins the team at RB; at first a "huh?" signing but at $2M is a drop in the bucket and provides veteran leadership (PFF rated him very highly last season if you follow that stuff)
3. Signed a TE who has shown flashes of production in the passing game (2017) but is at the very least a capable blocker
4. Potentially "fixed" the C position by acquiring a guy who hasn't given up a sack since 2015; backup already in place with previous Long signing
This is a promising start. You can point out potential pitfalls with any of these moves, but there's nothing here that looks "scattershot" or not part of the larger plan. I believe Gore's signing likely means Ivory is gone, and they will draft a youngster who gets to learn behind Gore (consummate pro) and Shady while they form a RBBC. I don't think they're done at TE at all and expect them to draft one, but Kroft is a decent addition.
What's next? A Daryl Williams signing and a veteran WR would complete my personal FA checklist and set the Bills up nicely for the draft.
Agree. Some good names still out there. Hopefully we can land Daryl Williams and if not maybe Saffold. Then a DE like Preston Smith/Ziggy Ansah. Maybe a WR like Conley/John Brown and onto the draft

The money they put into their LB's has to be a record. Why not just draft two and pick up a nice street free agent like we did in Milano, Edmunds, and Alexander?
Agreed but I’m OK with it

Don’t the Jets have a bunch of open roster spots to fill? Seems like they are going a little overboard. Mosley is a solid player. So they have picked up Osemele, Barr, Crowder, and Mosley

Not if we don’t land Williams

I hope it means we DO sign Tyrell.
He'd instantly be the best WR on our roster. He was the third receiver on his team and what maybe 30-40 best receiver in the league? And we are gonna pay him number 1 money at 15 per year? Not behind this move

I like the signing. I like it better than James. 6m seems high but it is a need and I think he has decent upside. Like add a draft pick to the room and TE is settled.

They actually do like Tyrell Williams quite a bit, but he wants a bigger role and they can’t pay him what he wants
That’s not what I’m saying. You have Keenan Allen, a Travis Benjamin and a breakout year Tyrell Williams and take Mike Williams 8 overall? Why? Because you don’t think that much of him

Hopefully it does
Why did the chargers draft Mike Williams at 8 overall when they had Keenan Allen and this guy just had a good season and they had Travis Benjamin? Obviously they didn’t think much of him. And to pay him premium money....
-
Hopefully this doesn’t me mean we sign Tyrell

Let’s get it! Now get Williams and go onto the draft. Maybe Barr and shut it down!

I like Justice Hill, Miles Sanders, and Myles Gaskin. I liked them before the combine and now that they blew up prolly wont be there. Gaskins didn’t help himself though. No way Hill makes it that late after runnning a 4.4

Pretty solid right here. Would rather go for a WR who seems to get more separation but don’t know who that would be at 147 but otherwise solid.
