John Brown and Cole Beasley do pretty well. I’m not gonna argue that QB play has been good, but there seems to be a disparity between him and the other WR’s on the field.

I very much doubt you got banned for defending Zay.

I got banned for this chain...

Yet Knox made a contested catch at the end of the first half and Smoke made one with Gilmore all over him. When was the last time Jones made a similar catch?

You don't even understand that's the issue. Everyone has to make all world catches.

Dude stop it. Zay Jones isn’t in the same stratosphere as RWoods.  He just put up 1.2k yards last year. And they are truly night and day different players. Woods makes all tough contested catches over the middle. Runs all the routes. Catches the deep ball. Extremely good downfield blocker(look at all shady’s big runs from 15/16 who was leading the way) He was the perfect #2.

And the fans here hated him.

You’re not wrong about people targeting someone with anger. That being said, Zay has had some issues throughout his career.

to your comparison, possession receivers catch the football.

But being completely honest has Zay had a QB who throws like an NFL QB? The QBs he's played with make you make tough catches every play. Speed and angle and location are important.

BTW I should get off this because last time I stood up for Zay I got a ban.

Look, we are far away from this dicussison, but another QB? Another OC? Another offense?

This regime is already on their 2nd OC in three years among other offensive coaching positions and numerous examples demonstrated of BAD evaluation of the offense as a whole.

How many resets do they get?

The OC is fine. His calls are fine. Wouldn't shock me if he gets interviews for HC job after the season. JA wants to show off his arm. He missed a lot of throws. He could have hit a wide open check down to the back on that second INT where the LBer fell down.

He'll be around so long as Josh Allen develops into a good QB.... because if he doesn't they won't be consistently winning football games.

Despite yesterday's game that they could've easily won they are 3-1, but really the team will go as Allen goes, and that's not just this year.

No, you have to give him a second QB. If he builds a SB roster and culture you can't fire him for missing on JA. If JA is a miss you move on to another player in 2021/22.

I have more an issue with his challenges and usage of TO's.

Guy is ***** idiotic when it comes to challenging a play where I literally say before every challenge "please don't waste a challenge on this". It's comical at this point.

    ?

He's .500 35 games into his coaching career here. Good defensive coach. Guy cant seem to figure out the other two phases of the game. I'm not impressed.

They have figured out the offense. He has a good OC. They picked a QB who may or may not be good enough. He's still a rookie but that's their only issue on offense. That and they needed another back they trusted to run the ball yesterday. I don't believe Yeldon had a carry at all yesterday. It's all looking good from my point of view.

For some reason the Bills game Plan was built around a bombs away approach to the passing game. You can say what you want about a lot of things yesterday, but that was the fatal flaw. I’m not sure what they thought they saw, or why they didn’t adjust out of it.

I don't believe for a second that was their game plan. They had some nice called shots and on most of those INTs Allen wanted to show off his arm.

This team is capable of playing with and beating EVERYONE on their schedule. Yes, even the Patriots. I challenge anyone here to debate this point.

Also, we know they have a VERY good chance of making the post-season in a down AFC. They're one of THREE teams in the AFC with a winning record. This is a doable thing. Time to quit being chicken littles and buck up.

They have the talent to compete with every team. IDK if they have the player that matters. Maybe he's still too young for a big game like yesterday. Yesterday was like a SB atmosphere and that's tough on a young QB.

Like other Qbs are perfect.  If that is your expectation then the Bills have never had nor will ever have a QB that meets your expectations, nor will any other team in the league.

I never expected JA to be perfect. I believe he can win with 55% rate. I'm one of the few here who stood up for TT.

You're definitely not following the discussion here (I'm guessing that's because you're getting tagged on a lot of different fronts).

I said that in your quest to be objective in spite of being an "Allen guy", you've gone too far right of center into criticizing a perfectly fine throw.

And I said I doubt it.

    Okay I'm done.

This is just getting more stupid that I thought it could be.  Geezus dude...how stubborn can one person be?

I'm asking myself that exact question. I want JA to be good. I want JA to make every throw as perfect as possible. I will not blindly claim he is good or that his passes are perfect.

Now you're just being stubborn in your ignorance. I won't waste more keystrokes on you.

Listen, I'm here wasting my time with half the guys on this MB who claimed Peterman would be better than Tyrod. LMAO.

This the exact point where the ball hits Zay right in the hands.  Where is his hip open?  If he hip was open, it would be facing the DB behind him.

This is a still photo, you see the exact situation.  How in the hell are you now going to argue that he had to open up his hip to catch this.

    zay.JPG

He had to open his hips to the DB out of frame. You know the only one that matters. The one that was going to hit him. If the ball is thrown to his right shoulder he catches it going upfield into the endzone.

Objective fact. Ball hits jones in stride in the hands and he drops it.

NOT an inaccurate pass by ANY definition.

    We don't agree.
