At least it looks like they put little to no time or thought into this.

They would play a safer conservative style and McD would lead them to a 9-8 Steelers like season.

Well, his signing certainly doesn’t make them worse regardless of how much he plays. Obviously he’s been hurt, a lot. Their secondary is loaded. Both of those are true.
Never said that wasn't true, just that I didn't care and would never spend a second worrying.

Being a Bills fan, led by Josh Allen makes it difficult to act like this oft injured cb being signed by Baltimore matters.

What year is this question based on, $500 in 2025, get real.

He was half way into 4 year $84mil extension, he has played in 14 games over the last 2 seasons. This might be the missing piece.

It just won't be what it could have been.
The distraction to the distraction is gone.

No one here knows how much he really wants or what the Bills are willing to pay, but I do know that Ty Johnson is making $1mil more than Cook and Darrynton Evans is only $200,000 behind Cook along with Ray Davis only $300,000 behind.

I'll go with the Bills / Cardinals in 1990. The Bills win 45-14 in the wind, sleet and snow The Cards and especially punter Rich Camarillo are no match for the elements.
The crowd cheered on the weather and the Bills throughout, the walk back to the car was probably the worst I've ever experienced but the game itself was a blast.

I don't know what's been going on with me since the draft but I get this weird, like small butterfly feelings in my stomach thinking about the upcoming season.
This has never happened to me before. Usually I lose interest in football after the Bills are out, gain it back right before draft and free agency....then think about other things until late July.
But it's early May and I have the same exciting feeling the Saturday eve before the opener...which means it will take forever in my head for the season to get here.
I think they do it this year....I really do.
Any of you feeling weird like me right now?
And no, I'm not drunk.
Am I high? Maybe.
The weird feeling may have to do with being high and eating McDonald's, but we can all dream.

I am looking to buy a horse farm in East Aurora and if Ed Oliver were traded away I could get a real cushy deal.
Buffalo drafted some much bigger defensive players, Ed is small 6'1" and has a fairly big contract. Branden Beane needs cap space for the next superstar wide receiver. You probably don't care about stupid wide receivers but I do.
Anyway....
I am hoping to get the horses too. 🐎
Did you find your wallet, or possibly somebody else's?

Maybe for a change of pace we can see what teams have #1 receivers that would instantly be the #1 here. Then we can do #2 receivers that would be #1 here and if anyone's willing we could do #3 receivers.
Should we stop there?
-
I guess it easy to look up serendipitous, but not so easy to use a correct example.
-
I think they should have made it up to $31mil with incentives.

Why wait for a tush push ban?

The evidence is damning, players signing elsewhere or retiring, some asking for new contracts and then there's the silent type.
Sounds kind of like the off season in the NFL.

This is great news...frees up cap this year and we are free of the contract next year without a dead cap hit. Like most have already said, this is probably his swan song as a Bill. Not out of the question they bring him back next year on a cheap deal, but feels unlikely now with Bernard locked up and Dorian here.
Where did the dead cap go?

It seems possible. Von had 6 sacks in 13 games. Bosa had 5 in 14. Can’t imagine he’d cost more than half of what Joey’s getting.
Von did that in 279 snaps to Bosa's 456. So hopefully Bosa will be healthier this season because just getting on the field for 14 wasn't enough to mean he has returned to form.
Not sure what Von could get with incentives.

Bring him back for $1mil per sack.

If it wasn't for 2021, this wouldn't really be a thing.

If this story never got out, they could have replaced the players and no one would have noticed.
Maybe friends and family would notice, if they weren't lying about watching the games.
I want to catch one last game at Rich Stadium late in the year...

I heard they might not have time to get the old stadium NFL game ready on short notice if the new stadium isn't ready, so the games will be moved to Detroit.
