How so? You don't want your team's leader to demand more? Josh was hyper football focused the summer of COVID and look how good he played that season. Made a huge leap. What if he could make another leap? Or at least set the standard for the team that we are winning it this year at all costs
I'd like to see you put some blame on your namesake who's been actively bad and looking unfocused since around week 8. He could have told his brother not to post anything, regardless of his feelings. All it did was cause needless drama. For every great catch he made, there were 2 or 3 drops each week that never happened in his first 3 & 1/2 seasons in Buffalo.

Can we start making any passes?

If Josh was playing with Deebo, Aiyuk, McCaffrey, Kittle, and with Trent Williams for protection, he wouldn't have to be superman.
Exactly this!!!

Isn’t Rasul Douglas rated one of the highest CBs from PFF? I know it’s not the be-all, end-all, but the eye test on top of that shows he’s dominating every week. He should be an all pro. Terrell Bernard too. On offense, Josh is more deserving than Purdy. There are 49ers all over Barnwell’s list but no Bills. Yet Josh has outperformed Purdy.

Don’t really care for any network commentators any more. Romo was probably the last guy I liked, but he doesn’t give his insight as well as he did when he started.
As far as Al. Like I said before he had his one big call in the Olympics and has been nothing special since. Just my opinion.
CBS told him to dumb down his commentary.

Maybe they will have him from the owner's box doing the "Where would you rather be..."
Or on the field. Wasn’t he last year?

This board definitely hates on Lamar. But I agree he isn’t have a normal monster stat mvp type year.
but should a guy be penalized because they dominated teams early and don’t have to stat pad against soft defenses?
https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/baltimore/news/ravens-have-been-mostly-excellent-but-close-losses-have-left-them-in-a-tight-afc-north-race-baltimore/i see everyone’s side (and I really don’t care but it’s fun to argue about). Allen is the dominant numbers guy but it is a lot of losses and this offense has been inconsistent if we’re being honest. Lamar isn’t going to have the numbers. Purdy is a system qb. Hill is a dirt ball. CMC might be canceled out by Purdy.
honestly, TJ Watt has a major case. That offense is horrible yet they are still in the playoff hunt.
Gabe Davis shows up once a month. The Ravens defense is more instrumental to their success than Lamar. Mark Andrews was on fire before he got hurt. The Ravens keep spending picks on WRs who aren't panning out. Lamar is a great QB, but he's not MVP level this season compared to other QBs who've won in the past 20-30 years.

1. Josh Allen
2. CMC
3. Hill
4. TJ Watt
5. Lamar

Damar is better at coverage than Rapp. Without a doubt, in my opinion.
But Rapp is wayyyy better at tackling and aggressiveness.
The number of times Damar missed a tackle in the hole last year was enough to make me not want him on the team anymore. He was so so so bad on many of the angles.
Here are a few reminders:
I have no disagreement with this. For being thrown into action without prior starting experience, I was happy with how he played last year. Rapp started for the arms for a few seasons before getting here. Maybe I graded on a curve. Definitely agree with you that Rapp is a better tackler.

They both are trash in coverage. Safety is definitely a draft need next year unless they’re planning on converting Tre or someone to that role. That Hamilton kid for Baltimore was amazing.
My big draft needs would be best WR first round, safety and OT second/third round (replace Brown) get that Michigan kid Corum in the 4th round if he falls that far…hopefully we can resign Jones and Epenesa to team friendly deals as well

Damar was rated a top 50 safety last year. Rapp is 93rd. I'm not saying he's a Pro Bowler, but he's better than Rapp. I don't buy the "he'd be active if he was better" line either. We saw Poona Ford get an opportunity and he played better than some of the other DTs have all season. Kingsley Jonathan played better than Von too.

Glad we will have Jones back. That is great news and even though Hyde has lost a step we need him in there over Rapp. Rapp is a tackling machine but awful in coverage. Shorter is a body catcher and won’t help Josh at all but maybe special teams he could be valuable. Hopefully Elam is healthy now and can be used in case of emergency because he did show some promise at the end of last year
This might be a hot take, but I think Damar is better at coverage than Rapp

Love Josh but he single handedly lost us too many winnable games earlier in the season to be worthy of MVP. Not his best year.
He lost them the Jets game. That's it. Gave them the lead in the last 2 minutes 5 times this year, and the team is 1-4 in those games. That's on defensive coaching.

Josh Allen is the MVP. Purdy can't make it happen without a pro bowl team of weapons carrying him
