  1. They've coached him out of taking off to run and the hesitation is causing indecision and leading to him taking more hits. It's the opposite of what works. Also, not pulling Spencer Brown at halftime was a mistake. The moved the ball when Anderson went in. Brown couldn't lift his arm.

He (Josh) is his own worst enemy, in a way

He brings the teams wins above expectation to his detriment IMO

That is, this is a sub .500 team (talent + coaching) that he brings up to a perennial playoff team, which doesn't allow for adequate talent acquisition via earlier in the rounds draft picks.

Buf has drafted in the mid to high 20s with Josh at the QB position when the "talent" around him (and coaching) appears to be, more around pick 12 to 15

That's why we're waxing over the musings of a WR like Keon Coleman vs [insert top 15 talent level WR]....

Josh earns MORE than just his paycheck IMO. Beane/McDermott/Brady/Babich should ALL be saying his name FIRST, for things they're most thankful for, at their respective Thanksgiving tables 😃 🦃

Then Beane should have traded up to get a difference maker instead of trading back multiple times to the team's detriment.

No coach is going to tell his QB to two hand toss a pass to someone which lead to his first interception. I am sick of fans blaming coaching for players making dumb mistakes. That was Josh trying to do his Mahomes impression to make a play out of nothing which as we saw wasn't wise.

So you'd rather give up 2 points vs 3 points? Or are you assuming the defense couldn't defend a short field assuming KC would get one on the free kick after the safety?

I’d rather give up a FG and get the ball back than a safety and have to punt to give the team a chance at another TD without seeing the ball.

  4. They need to run an up tempo offense instead of this ball control BS where if they have a turnover they dont have enough time to mount a comeback. First drive in the 2nd half took up 9 minutes when effectively down 3 scores (since they cant convert a 2 point conversion to save their lives right now). Then they turn it over and suddenly only 21 minutes to make it happen. The defense wasn't great, but made a few stops. But I felt like they'd lose as soon as McDermott chose to punt on 4th and inches. Then Brady compounded the error by calling a deep pass on the next 4th and 1. Just QB sneak it...(and dont go 20 yards then fumble) lol.

  5. I can't give Prater an arrow down when it was 52 yards and he's dealing with a calf injury. The fact that he's out there over Bass even with the injury tells me Bass is either nowhere near healthy, or that even injured, they prefer Prater to him.

They've been all over the field.

Somebody buy this guy a bigger TV.

Poyer has been making plays all day and the other safety Hancock I think has been going off too. Plus the D line even without Oliver has been getting pressure. Bosa 2 sacks I think. The defense will occasionally get gashed by the run, but overall much better. Oh and Hoecht just forced a fumble that Walker recovered. Guys are stepping up today.

There was a clip going around from one of the practices this week that appeared to show Jordan Hancock on the field with Cole Bishop and getting 1 on 1 coaching from McDermott after the rep... Probably shouldn't read too much into that but maybe they'll give the rookie a shot.

I do expect Poyer to be activated to the roster, we have two open spots right now. No way Poyer can be worse than what Rapp has shown so I can live with it if he ends up starting.

Even diminished, last game when Poyer was in was the best that the safety position has looked all season. Astounding.

The Browns would have to eat 9 million dollars in salary over 3 years.  His stats are fine, but those numbers come from a ton of targets.  Hes a skilled player, but he has below average hands.    He may be better than Coleman, but you have to call on Olave first.

The Bills need to get rid of the "everybody eats" mentality, because they're all starving right now, and the offense is anorexic.

Going through the league and looking at teams that aren’t going anywhere and who possess a genuine #1.

Jets: Garrett Wilson. They are not trading him, and certainly not to the Bills.

Dolphins: Waddle. I actually think he is slightly more plausible than Wilson in terms of willingness to trade, but only by a tiny bit. And I can’t see him being traded to the Bills at all. I would trade a first for him, though.

Browns: Jeudy. Maybe? He’s a better player than many think, but the Bills haven’t had luck with Browns castoffs these past two years.

Bengals: Chase/Higgins. Neither is being traded. They are being saved for next year because Cincy has the QB.

(Ravens: Nobody because even though they are 1-5, they appear to still see themselves as still in it.)

    Titans: Calvin Ridley. Plausible.

Raiders: No one moves the needle for me.

Giants: No one; Wandale Robinson isn’t a position fit and is a JAG anyway.

Saints: Olave. Perfect, but I just don’t see the Saints robbing their offensive minded head coach of his best receiver. I would trade a first for him.

Saints: Brandon Cooks. This is basically an Amari Cooper move.  No thanks.

    Cardinals: Harrison, Jr. Not happening.

At the end of the day, the only people I’m seriously inquiring about are Olave, Ridley, Jeudy (maybe), Waddle, and Wilson, but with the expectation that the latter two are no-gos.

Brandon Cooks even in his 30s is better than any current Bills WR not named Shakir, and probably is better than him too.

I agree with them looking Chiefs, but I think they go with the other side of the ball. I'd watch Matt Nagy. He did have issues as a first time HC, but went back and sat under Andy Reid's learning tree some more. And hey, they guy made the playoffs twice with Mitch Trubisky as his QB. Another name I'd keep an eye on...Mike Kafka. OC for the Giants but has the Chiefs roots as well. If Dart keeps showing well, maybe the Titans look to him to work with their young QB too.

I had Daboll as first fired coach during the preseason. Yes, that win may have bought him some more time. I still think he's gone at the end of the year

It depends on how it goes with Dart. If they finish 7-10 that means they went 7-7 with Dart and were competitive. Just depends.
