Hope this will end the incessant "Duke" babble in here.

Then of course there'll still be the redundant threads/posts clamoring for all too often injured and expensive A.J. Green and overrated & overpaid Stephon Diggs.....

And there'll be more must gets they'll bellyache about.

geesh heaven forbid folks actually post comments of interest on a Bills Message board if you don't like the topic why click on the thread...@-@

So last Sunday, I go to DC with my wife for an cultural fest.  Hang out with her til 12:45.  Go to nearest sports bar which turns out to be adopted by Pats fans.  Outnumbered 200-1 (later when we score TD, I find 2 of my kind).  People were nice enough.  No buffalo wings there, just something called buffalo chicken flat bread.  Tasty, had to eat with fork.  I must admit I was a little annoyed with the adulation of Brady-Belichek.  Dynamic duo shirts.  Yuck.  GOAT shirts.  Yuck.   I was thinking of leaving if Pats go up 20-3.  I'm glad I stayed.  That crowd became real nervous in 2nd half.  They were dumb struck.  I savored it.  But my take-away was that they were fans just like me.  Pretty good folks.  A week later, I'm wondering if I'm a true Bills fan??  Go Bills!!

Last week I attended a billsbackers bar and found seats at a long table where the very nice Bills fan young lady informed us we were saving seats for her Pats fan friends...they were promptly booed coming into the venue but having said that they knew they were in enemy territory and were civil and were good natured to the smack banter and even laughed at some of the pats and Brady memes I showed them off my phone haha … and one of the guys was coast guard so I thanked him for his service keeping it classy but I also will say all they seemed to care about was the vegas line and wether they'd cover  …..I think the Bills fans actively "hate" on the pats but their smack  falls back back on the lazy reply of we losing 4 super bowls which makes me hate them even more LOL  it just confirms to me theyre team is dynasty but their fanbase is overall super spoiled and weak.

I just hope he learns from this and always plays with a healthy respect for potential injury. No more hurdles? Check! No more trying to bull for the extra yard? Check!  SLIDE

I think we have all seen and agree that Yes Josh needs to not only be willing to slide (even if short of the first down as what occurred last week) but also have the mind set that he does NOT need to heave the hero pass all the time. I would consider it growth and lessons learned if Josh would do the cliché "take what the defense gives him" in other words go through his progressions and take the check down, take the short pass and slants, dump the ball off to his TE's and RB's and WR's to get yards after the catch...more set up the long ball then depend on a steady diet of it....I think he'll get there I think his brain will catch up with his heart basically...I trust the guys smarts as well as his athleticism..Noone doubts his heart that Ive read thank goodness he just needs the game manager mindset more often. JMO.

Im a bit confused and  apologies if this is in the wrong thread I wasn't sure where to put it...But Nsekhe hasn't practiced, Connor McDermott is released..our QB is in concussion protocol but more than a few people think THIS is the week they call up a WR (Duke Williams) from the practice squad?  what the heck? What am I missing here...this tells me that sometime soon a move is coming clearly  but who...….I'd vote Webb based on what we know now but could it be a trade for an OT and Ford by default is moved to RG as not playing well at tackle? ACK this is kind of maddening....

It doesn’t make sense that they’d do it for Webb. I would think they’d do the moves simultaneously.

what advantage would there be to not divulge whom they are bringing up if it was to be a practice squad guy...answering my own question I would say if they don't want to divulge it being Webb and keep the Titans guessing on who will be playing QB this Sunday...….

The sadder thing is that if someone were to make a shirt like this for Buffalo, it wouldn't be too different, outside of the rings.

say it ain't so Gugny  I can recall a few Bills that have run afoul of the law but our Bills cannot have been as nefarious as all of that..Travis Henry, OJ , good ole skittles Marshawn lynch ….some mental illness type stuff but on the whole the pats seem to have won the NFL's "infamous" award

  8. what is wrong with him seriously.....why would a guy on purpose continually play like that and risk not only the livelihood of the guys he cheapshots but now clearly his own? Its like trying to make sense out of nonsense its impossible for a sane person to rationalize a guy like that..I call it criminal actually with intent to harm Im no cop but isn't that called assault in the real world? Will an on field action ever result in a criminal offense? Football play my behind that's straight up assault with intent to injure....Deliberate!!

PR campaign, like they did for Gronk after he clubbed Tre White.

Does the Hoodie have any credibility on points like this?  He’s the master of things that skirt legality (on both sides) and are highly unsportsmanlike

Bottom line, if the NFL cares about concussions, there have to be consequences for players who don’t take reasonable action to avoid helmet to helmet

This all day. Jones didn't have to go high but yes he did. and Hoodie has NO credibility due to his past conduct. PR campaign indeed. Jones wanted to lay the wood into Josh Allens head and it was deliberate none of you will convince me otherwise. I also don't agree that McDermott would necessarily come to the defense of a Bills laying a dirty hit on anyone either it would more likely be something like "It was an  unfortunate" I do not believe he would rationalize it as anything but a mistake.

  10. it seems to me the zay hate is coming from a combination of perceived lack of effort/desire to go the extra mile in both going up for catches and preventing interceptions....Bills fans want a guy who will fight for his team and the perception is he is soft in that area.just my opinion...it goes along with the perception that Duke Williams is a guy whom would do both hence the cries for Zays release. jmo.

  11. I wouldnt be surprised to see Buffalo draft a a tall physical WR in next years draft where supposedly there will be a deep WR class coming out.. That and a LT will be high priorities...size matters yes it does. It's not everything but it matters to a certain extent. Bills have enough smurf sized receivers already.

McKenzie was questionable to play with a bad ankle according to this link. In not sure he was active today.

as far as  Zay Jones is concerned he isnt playing with much heart in my opinion like he is mailing it in. Id rather have a hungry guy like Duke Williams who you know will ball hard and fight for catches.

we ARE all part of Bills Mafia whether you like it or not, sorry to break it to you. It's the name of the fanbase, you can only get out of it by dying or rooting for another team.

It is sad that we have some idiots that sully the Bills Mafia name, but that is true of any fan base (like those in Raider Nation that are violent)...but the only way to combat the losers who break tables and light themselves on fire and put their hands down girlfriends pants in the stadium is to do GOOD things in the name of Bills Mafia like we all do daily/weekly/yearly.

You can say "thats not me", but you are wrong.

I don't know why any Bills fan would want to disassociate themselves from a moniker which yes does include antics of lunacy but is so much more than that...evidenced by the number of charitable causes that have benefitted from our generous nature most notably $17 donations to Andy Daltons charity which received nationwide GOOD  publicity for Bills fans whom are known as the Bills Mafia wether you approve of all they do or not......Also go to any Billsbackers club and you will see generations of people packing the place..THAT to me is the meaning of Bills mafia we are all a multi generational international fraternity of diehards..whats not to like? To disavow from it makes no sense to me really..its just a fanbase name fcol WHY SO SERIOUS
