ahh yes the old reminisce about the bbmb and journey to TBD
I don't know about the other bbmb peeps here but when they closed the doors I was ADRIFT. I did not know where to go for my bills fix.
I went to a smaller board after bbmb but lurked here a lot and posted in game day threads mainly. Now it is casa dulce casa.
This thread clearly represents the OLD FARTS club. DANG PEOPLE we are what you can describe as "seasoned" Bill fans. Diehards.
100%
TBD is my chat home and the people here are BOMB hot diggity.
PEACE OUT.

Its not about the laptop. It's that the entire media censored the REPORTING about the laptop. Massive election interference.
Twitter at the time suspended the account of the NY Post for reporting that was TRUE!
Facebook halted it as well.
In the USA one of the oldest newspapers in the nation has their reporting censored in the run up to the election? It's a massive story and the "error" there dwarfs the impact of the "error" with the Iran bombing.
I don't care what the story is, censorship is bad, right?
In some instances they went beyond just not covering it and instead told you that any reporting you might come across is a waste of time.
To boil it all down if the NYT had credible reporting of a Don Jr. laptop with authenticated emails detailing foreign pay for play schemes you'd want to be able to hear about it, right?
you are not getting my point at all whatsoever. Can we please focus on what is happening NOW not then please.
it is the SCOPE MAGNITUDE of Importance a Bomb vs a laptop?
Im saying PPP types care about laptops and will hang on to that to the exclusion of much ANYTHING that isn't HARD CORE RIGHT WING HANDBOOK Rhetoric. It is so TRIBAL! SMH
Please lets just call deuces you aren't listening to any reason or iogic right now. Basically you are not listening to ME

The Summer Blockbuster was born.....
I have a fun story related to this movie. I was a rotary club foreign exchange student in Oruro Bolivia from 7-75 to 7-76.
While there this movie was in the theater and I went to see it. it was titled "Tiburon" which means Shark in spanish. all Spanish subtitles. They did NOT translate well all thee English verbage correctly. Some things do get lost in translation lol
so wow I love this memory thank you. m

No because the initial reporting is always by far the most important. Media will continue to spin any mea culpas at best or just plain ignore their own false reporting and leave it sitting out there uncorrected at worst.
Greetings.
I needed to cut away all the links of support for your position. I am here to challenge your thinking just a wee bit.
I don't think that the people outside of PPP chatrooms (most of the time that would be me) really care about laptops as compared to BOMBIMG OF IRAN
come on now. You get stuck in the position of defending Everything and cannot accept that maybe Just MAYBE there are people who will scoff at CNN for screwing up this HUGELY IMPORTANT WORLD EVENT
laptop? gimme a break Joe general American doesn't give many fuqs about a laptop
aren't ALL politicians sleazy?
YES
a Bombing of Iran and they screw the pooch on the story? That's BAD for them trust me. laptop *raspberries*
come on now u catch my drift. I think on this one you are wrong
thats' what I think

As a non useful idiot I might be inclined to buy into the mistake/error narrative if just once the erroneous reporting ended up helping the orange menace and/or hurting Democrats.
that's fair I can understand you seeing it that way.
but isn't the fact the erroneous reporting is now widely distributed as error makes HIM look better? certainly not worse.
hurting democrats or hurting AMERICANS with misleading and false news. BOTH BAD hermano.

may I say all the drama concerning CNN and their coverage as criminal, traiterous etc etc etc all the false conjecture and false reporting. IT SUCKS. I don't know if it was intentional or not. sounds like a SNAFU to me but I could be wrong
I would dislike it as much if they reported a Major Hit when it was off target. TRUTH MATTERS
Integrity and honestly and being honest Matter
and it is precisely those attributes that IMO El presidente Donaled El Naranja Trump lacks. LACKS
It comes down to credibility. He lies so much how do you know what to believe and what is trolling or what is he spinning, Make no mistake ALWAYS IN HIS FAVOR
and people wonder why some are skeptical.
After having said all that let me put a point on this:
Well done US military. Donald trump you wiped out a nuclear threat KUDOS
have a blessed day.. m

is it possible that people Want the military exercise to be an unqualified success, Elimination of nuclear threat accomplished. YAY for how long? Hopefully forever.
AGAIN the fact a person would like some assurances and proof is not only reasonable but essential to process how effective said bombings were.
I would tend to trust our military did a great job and hit targets intended. they acted well IMO
But please let me say this for the simps that think questioning the bombings effectiveness is somehow traitorous, unAmerican and wrong
what a crock of mierda.
With more facts being made will take care of a LOT of doubts. Until that happens, and it seems to be happening, give me a break on the unamerican traitor smack. It's weak and makes you sound foolish. Yes Im talking to YOU Naranja

The old folks say
That you gotta end your date by ten
If you're out on a date
And you bring it home late it's a sin
There just ain't no excusin'
You know you're gonna lose and never win
I'll say it againAnd it's all because
Your mama don't dance
And your daddy don't rock and roll
Your mama don't dance
And your daddy don't rock and roll
When evening rolls around
And it's time to go to town
Where do you go
To rock and roll? -

I don’t really think she has blinders on. Maybe those admissions happened before I was around here. He clearly has a pretty large following that doesn’t seem to acknowledge what you mentioned. But maybe you’re right, I don’t know for sure. All I can say is that it's easier for me to focus on the politics in a vacuum when I know the person I'm talking with sees him the same way I do, at least in terms of character.
As I’ve said before, I do have concerns that he could be manipulated by other world leaders or shifting global circumstances, simply because of his obvious personality flaws. A simple example, today he said that while he’ll ask Iran not to pursue a nuclear weapon, he doesn’t really believe that’s necessary anymore.
So here’s an honest question, do you think he might hold back from aggressively pursuing efforts to prevent Iran from reestablishing its nuclear program, just to validate the narrative that it’s already been “obliterated”? I believe he would. And that would be a huge mistake. He’s vulnerable to miscalculations because of who he is. I’ve never felt that way about other presidents, even ones I considered incompetent. They didn’t reveal enough of themselves to be manipulated or they didn't need the credit or validation in the ways he seems to.

This post is a perfect example of going through life, at least here at PPP, with blinders on. Virtually everyone here that leans right or voted for Trump has acknowledged that he is a gaseous, narcissistic dufus. The bolded is a ridiculous, uninformed comment based solely on feelings.

A deeper inspection of the political environment yields the question how bad are the democrats that voters are willing to tolerate this type of behavior because they conclude he'll get things done that the democrats won"t or he'll fix things they screwed up?
My personal assessment in 2024 was overall I disliked Trump less than I disliked Harris.
this is KEY because it helps me understand how sane intelligent people can vote for him while holding their nose while doing so. That's it.
Not buying into every single democratic OR Republican platform should be the Norm. Right?
It's certainly how I roll in life. But MAGA is gonna MAGA and the super devout ones as posters here will never acknowl3dge fault in naranja whatsoever. EVER
At least not publically. The greater good. That's what they hope he brings us all.
I think he's a conman Liar but that's my right. I will never vote for him.

absolutely. I added my specifics because for a normal person such a sum would be difficult to waste. Heck I would live comfortably on the interest much less the principal of such a sum. Like a queen 🙂
