  1. Watching every motion in my foolish lover's game
On this endless ocean, finally lovers know no shame
Turning and returning to some secret place inside
Watching in slow motion as you turn around and say

I spotted a coyote walking up our street about 10pm recently. About the size of our smallish Golden retriever, but much skinnier and much more serious looking. We kept our dogs inside that night.

the coyotes here travel in packs of 2-3 sometimes. we hear them constantly.

One was pooping on the corner of our property once I watched it.

Of course it was claiming territory. . I cleaned it up it was gross.

  4. this is just too random not to post. What are the odds?

This was recently posted by a friend on her facebolk. She lives a mile away from me. and as I have mentioned we live near canyons. So while not as shocking  as a mountain lion this is still a Very residential suburb and guess what and see what shows up HOLY COW

  5. The kids know you cheated
    The car's overheated
They said they just couldn't fix it this time

    Because you stopped making payments
    You never opening the statements
You paid hers but you didn't pay mine

Oh you told me you'd love me through good and bad weather
Together we'd shoot our best shot at forever
    Sometimes I miss you
But my aim is getting better

  6. we are happily retired in a house we purchased in 1995 in San Diego Cali. Which is itself a HUGE city of various neighborhoods and 2  phone area codes.

Inland means more sun and less gloomy coolish weather .than coastal

coastal conditions are a full 10 degrees cooler than my part of San Diego.  So as a crow flies you go east from del Mar approx 7 miles. that is where I am.

It is hard to believe people still are buying real estate as expensive as it is. But weather is what keeps property values high and people wanting too live here

we will stay here for the duration. Glad we bought when we did.

we considered moving to be closer to my son and his family. But they love it here too so will visit often. I wish I was a bit closer to my grand daughter. oh well

  7. Abbey Road

    The White Album

2 of my fav's and arguably best records they did. But how do you really judge greatness. It's ALL Genius. It boils down to what flavor you liked best.

Fav Beatles song is a really hard choice. I Love Paperback Writer. one of their more light hearted songs but I just have always liked it.

I read somewhere that today marks the 30th anniversary of Jerry's passing.

Boy, time sure flies by quickly... I can't believe it's been 30 years!

The news reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask here for a while now.

I remember that back in the day, The Grateful Dead sold a double-CD and a DVD of their July 4th 1989, Rich Stadium show, which was called "Truckin' Up to Buffalo".  (see album cover, below.)

I've never seen it in stores (when there still were music stores) and I can't find anything available online.

I know that they've released dozens and dozens of their concerts over the years, but this particular one seems to have disappeared into the ether.

Does anyone know why this is no longer available?

ahoy matey. I will tag   @Logic he is  grateful Dead fan. I think he would like this thread 🙂

I saw them once upon Tempe AZ circa 1980 , or maybe 1981 I'd have to Google

Even if he has seen the light he is not very good.

you have dislike for his play style

So you discount and  didn't appreciate  his first year in the NFL? no hints  of potential et all going forward after that eh.

okie dokie Im not going to argue with you at all. we'll see 🙂

Wasted talent finally coming to the realization what an opportunity it is to play and earn a living playing football?

BINGO. If a young man can get his head on straight  in the right system.  yes Yes YES  let him try and compete. He knows that is all that he can ask for s another chance.

Domer Domer Domer Domer Domer. for purely selfish reasons I just think it would be the cherry to have a guy from ND. I'm biased as heck.

Injuries most definitely aren't why he went from being dealt for a high second round pick in 2022 to being a street free agent reaching for a life-line in the span of about 15 months.   Very little injury in his NFL history really.

He was a head-case in 2022 but should have lost any benefit of the doubt when he ghosted the Bears in-season in 2023.    That was crazy.    Typically only see something like that when a player is about to appear in a string of arrest/lawsuit stories.

The Dolphins gave him another shot and he just went thru the motions.   Only months later the Bills pick him up and fans expect him to be someone entirely different.

so no chance he has seen the light. okie dokie. you are on the staunch record.

I'm not sure his post is entirely accurate.  For example, was he really 14th string?  We would have needed 42 wideouts in camp to man 14 strings.

If he exaggerated on that point, maybe he did on some others too?

Though it was still good to read the positive comments and sense the growth in maturity.

that to me reads typo. I could be wrong

  16. I have camped next to water not realizing the danger like I do now. My circumstance was in Colorado and clearly not the same.

The best outcome is we learn how to hopefully prevent such a thing from ever happening again

I always look for a silver lining. Because without anything good at all coming out of this HORRIBLE situation all hope is gone

and I refuse to believe it.  To honor the victims

    RIP
