complain all you want about injuries but yet KC only scored 27 points.....DLINE was fully healthy and did nothing. Coaching again is the problem. You can post your disagree emoji all you want but this team with different players makes it to the divisional game every year and once they play a real Playoff team coaching falls apart. No creativity on defense, same vanilla defense with more blitz called, nothing else.
-
its funny how when they lose in the Playoffs its Talent.......Coaching is the number 1 problem with this team.....McD forces his Defense every game instead of changing it for certain teams......

Would you like to expand on this? What about him? Are you pointing out that he had a .518 career winning percentage? Significantly lower than McD at .640. Do you want to point out that Lewis was 0-7 in the playoffs? I wish McD had a few more playoff wins, but he is 5-6, which says he belongs while it appears Lewis did not.
You made me guess what your point is. That’s what I see regarding Marvin Lewis. I don’t see how that helps your case in any way.
Sean is Lewis 2.0. Great coach during the season, sucks in palyoffs. The only REAL QB his team has beaten in the playoffs is Jackson.

McDermott has a .640 all time win percentage just behind Andy Reid .641. McDermott’s win percentage is better than Tomlin, John Harbaugh, Bill Cower, Sean McVay, Pete Carroll, Bill Walsh, Joe Gibbs, Bill Parcells just to name to a few. He took over a losing culture and we have been a consistent winner since. Lesser coaches have been on the Super Bowl so there is no reason to think that he could not win it.
Only 1 team wins in the end each year and it takes playing your best at the end of season, a few bounces to go your way and to be relatively healthy. It is not like he has been u able to win in the playoffs as he has essentially been beaten by Andy Reid and the Chiefs most years. So if the Chiefs want to swap Reid for McDermott, sure I’ll do it but that ain’t happening. The chances of actually getting an upgrade to McDermott are slim. The team is much more likely to take a step back rather than finding the coach that can actually outcoach Reid.
Sure McDermott can be rigid at times, but more often than not he is able to adapt and correct mistakes. I think he has some degree of self awareness and he has improved as a coach. He was aggressive during the Chiefs game and other than who actually carried the ball on the fake punt, I had no issues with his coaching performance. Essentially, our big time players like Diggs, Oliver and Cook failed to make enough plays and we lost by 3 points having a completely depleted defense on the back 7.
It is disappointing losing to the Chiefs again, but realistically most every other team in the league has done so too in the last 5-6 years. I thought the team rallied around McDermott this year and that showed me something. I understand the frustration but it really makes no sense to get rid of the bird in hand that has this team as a contender year in and year out.
Marvin Lewis.....

Augie, I think you can lead this Bills team to a playoff birth. Just ride Josh Allen and you will do just as well or better than McD.
See the point? A little bit of coaching competence is all it takes.
you beat me too it, I was going to say I can probably lead them to the playoffs with Allen.

OUCH! That really stings! 😂
Tell me, who do you replace McD with? Why are they a slam dunk to get better results than the guy with the best winning % in franchise history? Sell me. Please try. Without a solution it’s just more whining.
Do you realize that it’s the same few posters going round in circles here?
I though you were leaving, why do you keep coming back?????

It means you’re in the playoffs, have a home game and have a chance. It beats sitting home, which is what we did prior to McD. History has proven that making a change at HC does not guarantee better results.
I’ll leave you all to your little pity party now. Notice that is it the same few people here going round and round. Most of the sane people are staying away.
.
classy statements you make, you insult people because you want your point to be the correct one and when people give you valid reasons you walk away......Enjoy your AFCE CHAMPIONSHIP party all by yourself.....GOOD DAY SIR!

ok, i waited 20+ years for playoffs, guess I should be happy waiting another 20+ for a SB........Glad they didnt think that when firing Rex......A change is needed, McD does not prepare properly for playoff teams, he does not adjust properly. His def is predictable and great teams, the one you have to BEAT in the playoffs, know that and take advantage of it. Buy if your happy with AFCE Championships thats all you buddy. Ill be dead not to long from now and AFCE championships done mean ***** to me.......

Instant gratification? We Bills fans have been more than patient under McD.
ESPN right now is talking about how they can't believe Poyer and Hyde don't have rings.
The Bills team has lost 3 straight divisional playoff round games.
McD is 5-6 in the playoffs and dismal past the wild card round.
All this with Josh Allen. Come on man
All the regular season wins and AFC East titles are secondary to playoff success. Sure it's a nice consolation prize if you will. Sure it makes regular season football fun to watch. Definitely a plus! If that's your goal then under McD Bills football is more enjoyable and successful.
If your goal is to see a super bowl and win one then that's a whole different story. I don't think it's unreasonable to question whether McD can led his team to this path. The evidence is getting stronger and stronger that he can't. Just look at his playoff history.
The Bengals and Burrow own the Bills
The Chiefs and Mahomes own the Bills.
McD and Beane have had no answers to beat either team come playoff time. News flash! Those teams aren't going anywhere.
Man, you need to hone your reading skills. Do you not understand the man won 4 straight AFCE CHAMPIONSHIPS......HOFer right there.......

You are not wrong about the regular season success but 5-6 in the playoffs. Losing in the divisional round 3 straight years. Instant gratification? He has been here 7 years. SEVEN YEARS with one of the best QB's in the game and still can't get over the hump. Fans have a right to be frustrated at this point.
but but but he won AFCE Championship 4 years in a row man, HOF coach right there.......
