  1. Watching the Bengals game will give you some valuable info on how we improve. When they double Chase watch for Higgins and Mixon to light it up. Watch the push the Cinncy O-Line gets compared to what we see with the Bills O-line. Watch the amazing Bengals play calling and halftime adjustments  that actually work. So for me we need a threat opposite Diggs, new C, LG, RT and a RB that is an actual threat like Mixon. If we move Dawkins inside to LG then we need LT,C, Rt

  2. We have no RB on the roster that is a big enough threat to even attempt play action.

I distinctly remember guys on the Colts board saying that Hines was not a 3-down or short yardage RB, and that Reich was not utilising his skill set when Taylor got injured. So we need to take this into account - he cannot be a straight swap for Motor.

Singletary has been labelled too small and not a thumper but I call BS on that one. Who can forget his final rush to get the first down against the fish - he literally carried 3 guys to seal the game. Not sure how anyone can be an effective RB behind that line. I think 4.6 yards per carry is pretty good under the circumstances.

Given that Cook is almost certain to stay, it seems inevitable that one of the other two may be shown the door. And unless Motor is prepared to take a pay cut then I fear it will be him.

I think one of McD’s glaring weaknesses is that he over value’s average players

  3. I would say neither, we already have Cook and don’t need 3 RB’s with the same running style.

Bijan Robinson is the one player in the draft that could fall to the Bills and have the greatest positive impact. I would even go so far as to recommend if Robinson was available around pick 18, the Bills should be calling to trade up.

I agree, there are only a hand full of RB’s that I would even entertain taking in the 1st rd. This is one of the few that I would.

He’s made a ton of wrong ones and failed to act where action was needed since the 2021 off season.

    The Oline is patchwork.

    The RB position isn’t important

No desperation to compliment Diggs has the rest of the league figures out you need 2 studs minimum.

The D line is God awful.  I love Rousseau but something is wrong.

Selecting Basham after Rousseau is so laughably embarrassing

You gave $160 million to a 33 year old DE - great.  I’m glad we have him.  He’s 33.

You added Hines to have one great game vs New England.  Cool.

CMC is leading the 49ers to the SB.

I agree with everything except the CMC comment. The 49ers Oline is something that we can only dream to put together. CMC would be struggling to run behind our current group of non road graders

Marv is 100% the reason we lost SB 25.

Thurman Thomas: 135 yards rushing. On FIFTEEN touches. Give him the all 25 times, hell, 20!, and we win.

I love Marv but I agree, if the Giants show you that offensive front and you have Thurmanator you just pound it all game. Thurman should’ve had a 240+ yard game and a SB win

That's it. I'm not even sure this is worth a thread, but after watching coaching all season, and particularly this past weekend and last night - it's pretty clear we have a good one in McD.  ALL coaches make mistakes and have moments you can point to that are sub-par, but on balance, this coaching staff is well-prepared, gameplans well & makes good adjustments.

Around the rest of the league, the coaching is just bad.  There are obviously some good ones, but it's a pretty small group.  I'd put McDermott in the top 5 right now.

McD is out coached on a regular basis, his game time play calling and adjustments are very bad. We have arguably the worst group on offensive coaches in the NFL. Best case scenario is Frazer and Dorsey being signed as HC’s. Both will fail miserably as HC’s.

The snow here today dictated a different game plan. The bengals adopted to it and the Bills didn’t.

On O, run the ball and swing passes.

On D, collapse the pocket, tackle, and play man.

We arguably play in the worst conditions in the NFL. Having a power in-line blocking oline and a power RB should be a prerequisite

This isn’t the best roster in the NFL.

It is deficient at a number of position groups.

We’ve over drafted without production at a number of positions.

We are tight against the cap.

There are some nice pieces and a QB.

Yea when you sign White to the highest contract for a CB your player evaluations are crap. He was maybe the 12 best CB in the NFL but paid as a top 3. The only thing White hurt on that play is his pride

Fired the wrong coach.  Bowles is a failure as a head coach and will likely be on the outs after next year.

He should be fired this year, he is clueless. If I’m Tampa I’m hiring a very good OC knowing that he will be my intern HC when Bowles is fired week 5.
