he didn’t just have an mcl in his knee, he had a right tibial plateau fracture as well. The dude missed the rest of the season. Nobody was giving a second for that risk, not to mention a cap hit we would sustain with no cap space already. They had to make moves just to get under the cap as it was. He wasn’t getting traded.
-
Not good enough. There has to be a player we can move those 4 spots with.
-
Who they bringing in, in week 17 that they are going to get ready to play and doesn't suck?

Meanwhile all I keep hearing about is Lamars "historic" season because throwing 15 completions a game to guys open by a country mile and getting 200 yards after the catch per game and 120 rating.
-
Yep, thats why Lamars passing doesn't impress me. He throwing to dudes so wide open that no defender is even in the same zip code.
-
The refs were terrible. You can't tell me they weren't trying to keep the score under the spread. Should be fired kind of terrible.

Yeah ok. I trust that site more. I only looked at the other site because it was linked in the thread and I have used it for other stuff. Not sure why they have it wrong. I also referenced NFL.com. Have to do the math yourself but it does check out to 39.8%. Even still, I would not call their 3rd down defense consistently good when they have had 4 years outside the top 10 and 4 years inside it. Thats not consistent in any definition.

They were 18th last year and 19th in 2020. They are only 3% points worse than 2020 this year btw. I wouldn't call that consistently good. McD's defense has been consistently bad at 3rd and long specifically. I'd like to see stats on that but can't find them anywhere.
-
Its conversion percentage. So if a team allows a lot of third downs to be converted then they are bad. Bills have allowed 60% over the last 3 games. Thats is god awful terrible.
-
You won't. They arent going to rest the starters for 2 games. They arent going to go into the playoffs rusty. Maybe if someone is overly banged up they will sit but thats about it. It would be a coaching catastrophe to sit starters that long and then go into a playoff game flat and out of sync.

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong

Von was our most consistent pass rusher before the suspension. After the suspension he's had some bad games. I think this Pats game looked worse than it was. There were a couple plays he looked like he loafed it out there. Like he was totally fooled on a fake hand off and the QB ran right by him with the ball as he jogged towards the guys that actually tackled him. I think he played better than it looked. He was getting pressure. Maye was pretty impressive though and it surprised me. He got rid of the ball fast and accurate. Not that our coverage was all that great. Still, he looked like a better version of Tua to me. Its the only game I have watched of him. Vons biggest issue to me is he gets that pressure but doesn't finish it off. He lets the QB escape. -
Beat me to it. Was just about to post this. Acho is only one vote but most probably feel the same. Josh has a better record and is doing it with less and their stats arent that far apart. That and Lamar has already won 2. He just needs to win the Jets game and he will probably win it. Also I wanted to comment on the people that always come in these threads and say "I dont care about MVP, I care about a SuperBowl." Well Josh may say he don't care about it to and SB is his #1 goal... but it's part of his legacy. It's important. Maybe not to you but it will be for him.
-
Yeah week 18 but not both 17 and 18.
-
They arent going to rest their starters for two weeks unless they are pretty banged up. They would be too rusty going into a playoff game.

Vegas special. Bills close to the spread give them penalties all the way down the field then 20 chances at a td. -

If anything, Henry is the mvp of that team. Shut him down and you shut Lamar down. Sure Lamar looks great throwing to people that have no one within 5 yards but that dude ain’t making tight window throws all game. -

That looked like his elbow not his hand.
