Good for him. I will cheer for him in Chicago. I expect he’ll do quite well in that scheme

Wow. He’s getting paid paid!
Teams are weird. But Smith wanted out I think.
Yeah he was his own agent if I remember correctly and he thought they were lowballing him

They wouldn’t pay Roquan but signed two guys today

Desperation. It’s what happens when you don’t have a guy at QB , a la Browns
Just seems like they want heartbreak lol

Why would the Jets even want this guy right now?
If he has to contemplate retirement or joining your team and isn’t sure.. Why in the world would you send draft capital for him? We’re gonna get to like July and Rodgers is just gonna be like nah… This wasn’t a good idea- 1

It just seems the Chiefs just keep getting better while we continue to "plug holes" . Maybe because I'm a Bills fan. But our recent OL signing does not give me a lot of enthusiasm for the Bills to keep up. They have been plugging holes with guys just like they signed since they been here, which puts us where we are today with the Oline
Why? Go look at their last 2-3 draft classes. They’re creating multiple starting level players on both sides of the ball. Some are even impact players. Buffalo has not. There’s your talent difference.
On the field, they have the coaching difference. Going crazy in free agency is not going to change the gap. If Buffalo had hit on their draft picks the last 2-3 seasons they wouldn’t need to “plug holes”- 1

Kupp has a 27 mil hit this year, and I think 29 mil dead hit if traded.
But the Rams did just give Ramsey away for peanutsThey are clearly taking the dead cap hit this year on all the players leaving. I wouldn’t totally rule out Kupp being moved, I’d expect they gotta get some form of draft capital to do it though not just expiring contracts imo

That’s a really good move for them to keep him.

Should we try to land Orlando Brown and move Dawkins to LG or RT?Ummmm no… If the chiefs signed Taylor to that deal brown clearly wants a chunk more.

This girl is the best.

I wouldn't be happy if I'm Mahomes and they view this as a replacement for Brown.
I don’t know.. Some of these guys like Allen and Mahomes I think RT is almost more important since they are so deadly going to the right. As long as the LT isn’t a complete bum it might be smarter having the better blocking on the right side. The way they’ve been drafting they’ll probably find some all pro in the 5th round to play the left side

They give this to Taylor, but wouldn't keep Brown? Kind of odd.
I was going to type the same thing.

Well he certainly would have fit last season 😂😂

So is Mills just done there? Rookie qb and Keenum as backup. Probably get mills for a 7th. Cheap contract, starting experience although not very great.

We will see how it plays out but right now I feel like its an overpay.
To be fair, show a free agent signed today that is not an overpay. That’s basically all free agency is.

No perfect options though.
OBJ off two ACL's. D-Hop, getting older and a bunch of random nonsense. No guarantee a WR we like makes it to 27.
Jeudy is available for a reason. Gabe Davis can be sent back or moved to recoup a pick.. he's not without his ankle issues and inconsistency.
Jeudy gives us that elite WR2 opposite Diggs, that teams 100% have to fear. He also has WR1 potential for the future. This just makes so much sense for Buffalo, imo.
I don’t view him that way but I’m no expert either.
I always considered Sutton the prize of that offense. Anytime I watched them last year or the year before it was Sutton making all the plays, and Juedy doing his best McKenzie impression slipping sliding and falling everywhere.- 1

Last I seen he was in the last year of his deal, maybe there’s a 5th year option I didn’t look at

I would not trade for him. If he was cost controlled another 2-3 years sure, but not now. He’s been hurt almost non stop as well. I would prefer they went in a different direction.

Maybe. But, I imagine about 15 teams would be thrilled to have him. I can see New England being a good spot for himI’m sure there’s interest. He’s not a bad player. Just not sure how he’d translate to other offenses and his contract value if they don’t use him that way. And Herbert should probably be worried, cause Ekeler and allen are his two safety nets and when they’re not playing he don’t look so great

915 rushing 4.5 YPC and 13 Rush TDs + 107 receptions and 5 TDs
I’m aware of a stat page. They don’t always tell the whole story. His value in that offense is much more than another.

Sounds exactly like what the Bills need! Check it down. Move the chains. Matriculate the ball down the field boys!
That was Hines best quality in Indy and why I thought they brought him here.

They already paid him after his rookie deal so this wold be his second big contract. he's 27
He makes 6 million this year.
For how he carried their offense last season I don’t blame him for asking for an extension

Why wouldn’t they be competitive?
They just added DJ Moore, and now have 70 million to spend in free agency which they are investing quite well. Add in all the draft picks, they should be able to hang in the NFC
