Dak can not be called a winner,  in 4 playoff games he's 1-3. He's got work to do to earn that title.

I'm surprised he's going after Cooper in that manner and complementary of Lamb... both Cooper and Lamb have the same 65% catch rate of their targets, and Cooper only received 104 targets,  if they actuality the him the ball the same 120 times they did Lamb he actuality would have hit 1000 yards.  To say he isn't catching the ball is wrong, and to say he's not bringing in enough I mean you aren't throwing him the rock too begin with. 104 targets is low for a WR of his caliber.

Furthermore, Cooper outplayed Lamb in the playoffs!! Cooper brought in 6 of 10 targets for 64 and a TD... on the other hand Lamb brought in only 1 catch on 5 targets for 21 yards!! He didn't show up! In what world do you throw your producer under the bus for a guy that didn't produce?

Thats with missing two games due to covid

On a related note, would you rather be attacked by a bear or a shark? I had kids, so I’ve been presented with these types of questions. It’s a part of me now.  🤷‍♂️

Depends on the circumstances… If i am in the ocean, I would rather be attacked by a bear. If in the forest, I definitely choose the shark. 🤯

Looking at the top 100 list of free agents .. most of the few who really performed at a high-level this year were the ones that their original teams resigned. Hopefully TBD will remember that when we do not go on a spending spree this offseason.

I love our team and hope that we can keep it as intact as possible and only add players via the draft. I hope free agency is only retaining the roster, I have no issue not bringing in any big name free agents.

This was something like the football version of a no-hitter, or maybe even a perfect game.

All the talking head pundits are going to have to revise their boilerplate and come up with some new ideas after this little piece of history..

Unfortunately the national media will be discussing what the Pats* did wrong, the mistakes they made, what they could have done differently, the weather, hostile environment, etc etc etc…. And the Buffalo Bills will be an afterthought. They will not discuss how dominant we were. They will not praise the perfect performance we just had. The entire discussion will be about Bill B and the Pats*

We have to win the Super Bowl to get the recognition that we deserve, and even then they might still be making jokes or act as though it was a fluke….

The media was even getting into my head yesterday. I was confident about this game all week, by kickoff i was nervous listening to the negative narrative all day, and began questioning myself making me think that maybe i was delusional the my Buffalo Bills were as good as I thought they were

  5. Thats was by far the best game I have ever witnessed. Such an entertaining game. Stressfree, i was able yo just sit back and enjoy the game. No mini heart attacks, no screaming at the tv or throwing my phone. No bad mouthing the refs…

I enjoy watching non-bills football at times because i am not vested. I don’t have an emotional connection to it so i get to just watch the game and it’s like i see so much more. That’s what tonight felt like. That was entirely the most stress free Buffalo Bills game I have ever seen. It was a work of art. Have never seen anything like it

I seem to be in the minority on this, but I thought Trubisky should have come in after the score was 28-0.

To your point, I agree - since they kept Josh in the game, he should have led the victory formation and taken the kneel-down snaps. Not because of the danger of a botched snap - at 35-0, who cares? - but because he earned it.

I am a HUGE Josh Allen fan, but have you not seen his play so far this season? Im glad they didn’t pull him when we were up 28-0. He needs as much game-time practice as he can get right now

*in my opinion its all in his head, and has to do with the fans/crowd noise

Are logged-in members seeing ads on the forum?

Despite being logged in, I show ads to myself so I know what is being shown and where.

When logged in, I never see any ads

*side note I would have no issues if you had to offer a paid “premium” membership to keep this place going. This is the best source of Buffalo Bills info on the web, and the only place I really come for NFL news in general. I read the forum daily so it would be worth the money in my opinion

They also got bullied up the middle is was a complete domination. That also explains the reason they signed Thuney for big money.

The Chiefs are doing what they did in 2018 after losing to the Pats in the playoffs they pretty much blew up there Dline outside of Jones now there doing they exact thing with there Oline. Chiefs don't wait around for something to happen they got out and fix there problems. I believe there line will be much better in 2021 season.

The Bills on the other hand have leaned towards continuity and building depth let's see if this works out for us. I would rather of had us blow up our Dline outside of a few guys like Oliver, Epenesa and Phillips. Let's face it this Dline we have is not Super bowl caliber I just wish McBeane could of seen it this way. This yr was the best yr I ever seen for Dlineman in free agency next yr there won't be half the guys available.

with what money? We were already struggling with cap space as it was, we had other areas of need as well. The chiefs only downfall was their oline. They were able to do what they did. If out only shortcoming was our dline than it might have been possible, but we had holes all over the place. I don’t think that it was an option

Are you talking about the offense, defense, or both?

Scheme was my initial worry when we hired McD. I followed all of those Panthers teams when I lived there. The scheme is “soft.” Not only is the scheme soft, but this is the softest version of his traditionally soft defenses. I know deep down that it’s never going to be good enough. Then we bring in another guy in Frazier that’s always been known to get absolutely torched in any game that mattered throughout his long career.

I just can’t shake this feeling that I have about this defense. I’m sure they’re really nice guys but this scheme worries the hell out of me. Even if we get the perfect personnel, it still just won’t be good enough unless we score 45 points in a SB.

I don’t remember their exact ranking, but I believe 2018 and 2019 our defense was top 10 in the nfl. In my opinion 2020 was a fluke year and we should see a much improved unit on the field in 2021.

we were not prepared for the loss of star in the middle and our line was just way to small to take care of business. Im not sure that people truly realized the value of Star Lotulelei. Is he a super star? No, but he did his job eating the double blocks which opened up our other guys to do their jobs efficiently. Hopefully in the future we will be better prepared with a serviceable back-up DT in case injury happens.

so I guess i do not have the same fear that you have. I am confident in our scheme as long as we have the correct personel to plug and play

If Beane doesn’t have anything else up his free agency sleeper, the coaching staff is gonna have to go back to the drawing board and do work.  It can be done

The coaching staff should never have even left the drawing board as “doing work” and improving the scheme, personnel, plays, etc should be pretty high up there in the priority list lol. Of course it can be done and that’s why they are compensated so well for their jobs

    Get to work boys!

  11. Yeah we have not added much to improve our D line, but I feel like everyone is forgetting about that girthy fella that opted out last year and will be returning this year, it was obvious we suffered do to his loss last year and feel like we will see a much improved defense this year with his presence.

No worries! We will snag an OG in the 5th round who goes All Pro as a rookie, the balance will shift! Have faith! We can run for 250 yards any game we want.

    Maybe.

Aahhhhh remember those days that we could run all over just about any defense that was in front of us but could barely hit 200 yards passing? Good times lol

  12. Imo this is absolutely the quality of player that we needed. Would an elite TE be nice to have? Sure, but the ball can only be put into so many play-makers hands. This offense is loaded at receiver. I think a versatile HB/TE with receiving abilities is exactly what this offense was lacking.

I feel like we have been obsessing over TE when in reality our running game is what needs to be upgraded the most.

im happy about this pick up and am excited to see what he brings to the table. Welcome to Buffalo Mr Hollister

I like Jerry, and he’s obviously our best end. However I’d still like to move on. I’ve said repeatedly the refs hate that dude. He is not as athletic as he once was and the refs allow him to be held like nobody I’ve ever seen before. So now his speed doesn’t negate the holding like it used to. Could just be my bias but I’ve seen the refs straight abuse Hughes for years now.

I could be wrong, but hasn’t he been consistently top 10 in the league in quarterback hurries?

either way, I do not want to see Jerry go anywhere. Why create more holes when we have so many other needs
