Nobody would ask that because we don't want a TD there we want a TD 1 min+ later

Trust me if there was a deflection and an INT everyone would be saying wow Josh Allen missed a surefire TD that would have taken the lead.

And that's why it's a low percentage throw. Everything has to go perfect for it to happen. Good blocking, time to throw, an accurate throw 30+ yards away (good luck, almost nobody can make that throw), a receiver that can run the perfect route and get open, the receiver making a tough catch in traffic, etc. Very low percentage play. The right thing was run everyone deep and hit Diggs underneath for 10 yards and keep the clock moving.

What traffic are you talking about. The middle of the field between the Safeties was empty. Its a pretty high percentage throw when the middle of the field is that wide open.

Shakir was likely the first read. If your first read is that wide open why even look at your other reads. And say he did take the underneath route and it gets deflected by a dlinemen like Jones (KC is top 2 in bats) then we would all be asking why didnt Josh Allen take the wide open throw to Shakir where the ball couldnt be deflected by a Dlinemen

Agree.  We needed to score a TD there.  I kinda put that on Allen.  He was trying to go for the TD on 2nd and 3rd down when he had under routes open they would’ve given us first downs

To be fair Shakir was wide open on that 2nd down play. Just he had the linemen pushed into him. I do think at that point tho Allen just needed to get the first down on 3rd. Making KC use their timeouts was just as important

The Niners will NOT scare me if we get to the SB.

Obviously a very good team - but not what they are hyped to be.

The NFC is just not good. 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles look good record wise during regular season because they dont play many good teams in NFC. As soon as they play a decent team you see how beatable these "elite" NFC teams are.

It's a massive number for a one off PPV, new format.

    What are you talking about?

Still lower than all the other viewership by a substantial margin. You can twist it no matter how you like. It may be good streaming numbers but honestly doesnt have much competition. And when compared to games shown on both its not even in the same ballpark

  6. It make sense. If it wasnt worded that way a player could just be laying out of bounds and recover a loose fumble. However im pretty sure the ball hit the turf next to Pats helmet and not his actual helmet. And even if it did i think his body still may have been in the air (not touching the sideline) when ball "touched" his helmet

He has not played meaningful football since 2021.

And the other punter off the street have played in meaningful games? Would would you rather have? Come on. A punter can easily stay in shape and kick balls... its not like any other position in the NFL.

Yeah, it is. As competition for Martin in Training Camp after the season. But not right now.

Why not... he is the only Punter out that that has been coached by Smiley, the only punter that has caught snaps from reid Ferguson, and only punter that has held for Tyler Bass. At this point in the season you want familiarity... bringing in any one else could potentially cost us a game if they miss catch a snap.

There is a guy who has been with this team in the past and was cut due to false claims. This would be perfect situation to get him back in the fold.

Douglas has said he could’ve played twice and this really has a good chance of being the last game of the season if he doesn’t play so I’d be shocked if he wasn’t out there.  Dodson I have no idea though

Dodson did practice a bit and many thought he could go with the extra day.  So i definitely expect him to play

  10. PI was smart. He knew he was beat. Saved a TD and lived to play another down. Sure you wouldnt like it but when a player gets beat id rather they grab and tackle then just let the player score an easy TD.

Inexcusable not to have a superbowl appearance when your team has a qb and wr as elite as allen and Diggs and a team who's roster is as good as the Bills roster over the last 4 or 5 seasons ...coaches have has failed us time and time again in the playoffs imo

You can see that but the Bengals and Chiefs have just been better teams the past few years. We have been a great team.  But there are other great teams in our conference. I honestly think this year is our best shot with other teams having a down year and us getting hot at the right time. This may be our best chance at a Superbowl even if it hasnt been our best year

I wouldnt exactly call them playoff failure. He is 4-5. Which isnt horrible... especially considering the first 2 years he was in playoffs we were still building. So really since the Josh Allen broke out we have been 4-3. There are teams that havent won a playoff game in years. Ravens have been 1-3 with Jackson as their QB. Dak Prescott has been 2-4.  But i wouldnt consider them failures because we have lost to better teams. Bengals i would say were better last year... especially at end of the season. Chiefs were better both years they beat us.... we almost came away with an upset but they were just better teams with Hill. Texans were a big favorite but we took them to overtime. Jaguars were also a big favorite over us.

I wouldnt call them failures. We have beat the teams we were supposed to beat and lost to the teams we were supposed to lose to. We just havent had any luck and grabbed that upset they we needed for a Superbowl run. The playoffs are supposed to be harder. The level of competition is supposed to be greater. Especially in the AFC... its a much tougher road rn than being an NFC team. And at the end of the day only one team can represent the AFC in the Superbowl. You need to have a little bit of luck on your side to make it.

And i think if we won that shootout with the Chiefs or the coin flip went out way we would have been holding up a lombardi trophy that year which is why I think a little luck is needed.
