Is it even possible to trade for him without giving them Oliver as part of the deal to get him off the books?
-
If you can find a team willing to give up a 1 or equivalent for Oliver you take it no questions asked.

Drafting BPA is how you end up picking CJ Spiller at 9 when you already have Marshawn, no thanks.

Agreed. Get Hopkins AND Henry or Ekeler. It CAN be done. Just have to be creative and it doesn't have to kill your cap down the road either.
Any WR 1B would in fact kill the cap.

Nuk? Tee Higgins?? A defensive lineman in his mid-30s whose best years are behind him and once played for the Carolina Panthers???

It's time for Sam Darnold to fulfill his destiny and become backup QB of the Buffalo Bills.

Tag and trade is probably the best play if you're the Ravens in this situation. If I'm a GM I can't give $250m guaranteed to a QB who has missed significant time two years in a row including a playoff game, and has only regressed since his MVP year. The haul they could get would be immense...if they can find a different GM to give $250m guaranteed.

The Bills desperately need a 1B receiver like Higgins. Davis has stone hands and is a #3 at best. Shakir has potential but I'm not going to bet the farm on him as my #2. Bease and Crowder are interchangable slot guys. McKenzie should be shipped off to Siberia.
Just my 2c.

A Bosa or TJ Watt, but those are unrealistic. So Tee Higgins it is.

There is nobody less trustworthy in the business than LaConjecture.

The Chiefs have essentially the same receiving corps as the Bills, i.e., one elite option (Diggs/Kelce) and a bunch of JAGs. And yet, the Chiefs were able to beat the Bengals and their scary WRs, so that isn't the real problem. Not that I would turn down signing Higgins or Boyd in the offseason.
OL is the real problem, when its so bad pressure is in Allen's face after 1 second every play it's no wonder throws are off target.

Unless they're explicitly wishing for career ending injuries to our players (*cough finheaven *cough*), I always find these threads incredibly silly and lacking in self-awareness.

Coin flip. Bills and Bengals both played down to inferior opponents and barely hung on. If Allen can avoid the turnovers I think the Bills take it but that's a big if.

This game comes down to our D-Line getting home early and often.

not sure if this has been discussed or followed up on, maybe it was nothing, but allen got hit on his elbow on this sack and then didn't have to throw again for the rest of the game since they were running out the clock. assume he's fine, but curious if anyone noticed any re-aggravation (if that's even possible at this point.)
I'm not a doctor (although I've seen people play them on TV), but to me this didn't look as bad as the one in the Jets game.

If the Bills had Hodgins today, he would be on the field in place of Shakir getting 2-3 targets. He still wouldn't be unseating Davis as the #2. I'm happy he's getting a real shot in NY after all of those years on IR.

When the Bills and Dolphins play next year, the league should take away both team's timeouts at the start to prevent future embarassment. Yeesh.

New "ironclad" Stadium deal reached
in The Stadium Wall

I'm pretty sure the Rockpile in 2023 is in better shape for gameday than UB Stadium, so this is pretty dumb.
