I don't know about you guys but I would happily be in cap hell if it meant I had won a superbowl a couple years ago.

I've heard of him, git 'er done OBD
-
I never wanted him, too bad he might help a division rival improve though.

I like Phillips, he plays hard and he deserves his pay day. But the Bills don't need to throw money at him, as long as Oliver doesn't regress we should be fine with interior DL. Best of luck to him on other teams that aren't named Patriots/Jets/Dolphins (not that he would go back to the Dolphins)

I would do this instantly. 2nd for Diggs and use our 1st for an edge rusher, 3rd for OL and I'm happy.

There's nothing wrong with inter-conference games as they are IMO. If anything I like them more if the league goes to 17 games since they'll have less relative impact.

I'm sure it's possible to measure if you can hurry a FG or something and have it affect the play (i.e., make the kicker miss) but not straight up block it. Maybe the Bills are good at that, I have no idea. But as it stands right now it seems more like a ridiculously lucky streak than anything, not that I'm complaining about balls going our way for once.

because they let him go on and on and on and he never shuts up
yes, what a genius "this is probably going to Edelman on 3rd and 12"
ya think????
He should definitely be hired as a coordinator then, since most of the current ones never seem to realize that Brady likes throwing to Edelman.

Romo never shuts up, he takes over half the play by play
it's all just yammering now, MUTE and catch up on some podcasts, they tell me nothing i didn't just see on the screen
Romo is already the GOAT color commentator. The man knows everything and he should be an offensive coordinator sitting up in the box somewhere, his ability to predict plays and schemes is unreal.

You always want the teams you have the tiebreaker over to win (within reason), and you always want the team with the tiebreaker over you to lose. Thus, Pit > Cle, and Ten > Ind. Obviously we want the Chiefs to stomp the Raiders.
It's amazing how important the head-to-head tiebreaker is thanks to the small number of games in a season. Getting in the playoffs like we did in 2017 (over two teams who beat us h2h) is an incredibly unlikely scenario, so that Cleveland loss could come back to bite us in a huge way should the worst happen with our remaining schedule. Luckily none of the other wild card contenders have more than 6 wins right now so just 1 more win for the Bills should ensure a playoff berth.

Honestly I have no desire for this at any point. I get why some do but I like having the division where you can travel to Boston NYC or Miami. Going to PIT CLE DET is like visiting Buffalo which I don't need to do regularly.
If two cities are both geographically close and culturally similar, you'll be able to grow a much stronger rivalry between the two teams, which is what having division opponents you play twice a year is all about. What does Buffalo have in common with Miami or NYC? If you just want to view your division rivals as an annual vacation you're missing the point of divisions entirely and you may as well just scrap divisions and do 16 team conference blobs instead.
Even in a hypothetical rustbelt division, you would have 3-4 road games a year in more "interesting" cities you could go to.

Somewhere, in another time and place, the rustbelt division exists and it is glorious. Let the other 28 teams compete for the super bowl, we're competing for Lake Erie dominance.
BUF
PIT
CLE

Stats aside,
At some point you have to stop only looking at the eye test (which Allen generally passes IMO) and start caring that his stats are near the bottom in basically every statistical category. You need both stats and intangibles to be great and have sustained success.

I'm always baffled by people who care about what the media thinks of the Bills. Do they have dreams about us getting 5 night games every year and Al Michaels waxing poetic about Josh Allen on SNF?
Mostly we just get completely ignored because of our small market, which is fine by me as long as the Bills keep winning most of their games.

I had never heard of him until a couple of years ago when his cancer made the news. The chefs, Elvis, wing hat guys, etc. are who I think of when I think of our stadium staples. I think his struggle and tragic death are terrible, but like many other people in this thread, I never understood why he got so much attention while there are thousands of other Bills fans going through the same thing. Heck, his cancer fight ended up eclipsing Kelly's as far as media attention, and he's the most famous Bill of all. I'm not saying that Kelly didn't go see him for such a silly reason or anything, but I think the idea that he should be obligated to meet Pancho Billa is bizarre.

Unless the Bills drop 40 on the Giants and they go into full garbage time mode with Daniel Jones coming in and throwing the entire second half, Barkley is going to outgain Singletary. I'm very optimistic about Singletary but Barkley is arguably the best back in the game right now, come on.

Did this thread really need to exist? Something something blue collar something something no respect.
To answer the question, Tre White is the best option. If people care about kickers, Hauschka is pretty well known from his Seahawk days.

I didn't like this signing before and I like it even less now. Let the Dawson Knox show begin.

While the NFL is on all other sports cease existing, and this is probably the second biggest night of the year for the NFL after the superbowl.

I'm pretty sure I would have gone nuclear if Beane had taken Metcalf at 9 but I fully support drafting him in the second round. If he can avoid getting stuffed at the line the bombs to him from Allen will be a sight to see.
