It’s more than a “numbers thing” that is keeping their 6.4 million dollar RB inactive on Sundays.  It has very little to do with formations.  Gilly played poorly, didn’t take care of the football, and quickly fell out of favor with the hoodie.  I watched it happen.

If he were playing well he’d be out there.  Lagarrett Blount didn’t play special teams, and he had like 19 TD’s last year.

Lewis missed the first 8 games last year and never truly got healthy. Blounts tds came from 3yds or less of the goaline.

Its definitely a numbers game. The last 4 games pats have been attacking linebackers with tes and rbs. I dont see this week being any different.

    Gillislee only has 1 fumble.

Won’t see Gilly or Hogan.  Gilly fell out of favor with the hoodie after a few fumbles.

Gillislee hasnt beem playing because its a numbers thing. Plus he doesnt play special teams

Pats have been using Lewis, Burkhed, Gronk, Cooks, Amendola/Dorsett. With this personel they can run any formation. They have been able to dictate what the defense shows because they can pass or run.

They are afraid that far more would end up on YouTube being used on each other by drunks in the parking lots than there would on the field ;)

I have to ask. The stadium cant be filled with that many drunkards. I would think that the majority is close to sober.

I explained that to this guy and he didn't mention it again. He's still hung up on Deflategate though...Evidence be damned!

To be expected. What the Pats are doing is unprecedented. The problem what most dont understand is BB is just so far ahead of everyone else

The nfl has a huge coaching problem. They all suck except for a few.

Pats videotaped RZ practices during SB week Vs Rams. Intercepted a pass in the EZ. The evidence was destroyed by the NFL and the team was fined. They deflated footballs to reduce fumbles. The evidence is there .. they cheat.

No they didnt. They never taped a practice. John Tommasse of The Herald ran that story and they ended up retracting it.

Pull a Patriots and make sure their radios/headsets do not work.

As I understand it, that means we have to take ours off as well.  That's fine.  Both sidelines operating without radios is a win for the Bills b/c Belichick probably does a lot more with his than we do.

Take chances; assume we MUST score TDs and not FGs right from the beginning of the game and take any relevant decision with that thinking in mind.  3rd and goal from the 5 yard line and we throw an incomplete pass?  Go for the TD on 4th down; do not trot out the FG team.  Roll the dice and hope we can get it in the end zone from 5 yards out.

Playing the way we normally would play is a guaranteed loss.

Nfl takes care of the radios. Not sure they are going to let a team mess with them.

What is truly sickening, is how the sports media continues to fawn over the Patriots* as the greatest football dynasty in the history of sports.

They never once acknowledge how much the whole cheating culture has influenced their championships. Sickening.

I will never acknowledge their "accomplishments".

Maybe its because the national media doesnt put any stock into so called cheating.

Please explain how the Pats bottom tier defense will send this loud message.

Look at the last 7 games. Football outsiders in  last weeks ranking couldnt quantify their ranking.

Um, I was describing a zone coverage scheme. Do you know anything about football, Chris, bandwagon jumper?

Sorry . i should have read your post better. My bad

you are a smart fellow... but you missed the point.

    / sarcasm

they had 3 road losses in 15 before any playoff games.

Is this sarcasm again? No road losses in 2016. Hence last road loss 2015 afccg.

Wide 9 on every passing down with an alternate blitzer between the tackles. Keep him in the pocket while we crash it down and force him to make quick throws. Coverage has to be close on the outside to prevent the quick slants and underneath routes. If we force him to throw early, then the CBs can sit in their zone and time to jump the route. Poyer needs to be in the box shadowing Gronk over the top while Lorax jams at the line and plays underneath reading Brady's eyes. Hyde will be the single high safety over top keeping everything underneath. Brown will exclusively play the middle zone while Humber shadows the RB in the flats.

Are you rewriting the defensive playbook. McD is going zone thats what he does. If he goes man te's and rbs are going to have a field day.

Because of Brady. When he is done, so are your trolling threads to every other message board site. How easy it is to root for this team during this run.

This runs been awsome. A lot better than the Rod Rust, Dick Mcphearson years

I'm enjoying this week as much as I can because I think this is the last week the Bills are seriously considered contenders in the playoff hunt.

I'm going to follow plenzmd1's advice and pray for a miracle.  Realistically I expect the Bills to go 0-2 against the Pats.  If the Pats play like the Pats, we're toast.  If Brady throws 4 picks, we have a chance.

I wouldnt say that. Still to many games left.

Steelers lose a game and then lose to the Pats. That week 16 game doesnt mean anything.
