The Bills today made a very bad Jets team look competitive.
5 win team at best IMO. If McCoy wasn't on the roster they'd be in-line for the #1 overall pick.
In what way did the jets look competitive? Not once during this game did I even break a sweat. Yes there are some kinks to work out but I think I saw an 8 win team out there at minimum. Look around the league, QB play was atrocious today (Dalton, Palmer, Cousins, Savage,etc.) Tyrod showed far more advanced mechanics than I have ever seen from him, consistently evading the pass rush but keeping his eyes downfield, attacking the middle, getting everyone involved.

Nahman 2011 against the giants. Stevie Johnson had a 40+ td catch and run against the chiefs in 2012. Sammy in '14 against the jets (the second long catch and run he had but he actually scored) and that's just off the top of my headBy the way, didn't realize how huge Jordan Matthews is. Yeah If he adds a little more weight we might have found a gem. He plays nasty I'm just a tad worride with his style of play he might not hold up, but a fantastic introduction to our new look safety group. Hyde played an excellent game as well, looking forward to a stiffer challenge next weekend against the panthers

Are you saying that a defense that is starting 2 career special teamers at LB and have an entirely new secondary (including several late round picks) is so far superior to the Jets D that it isn't reasonably likely that the Jets will be in the game at the end? Besides RB, what area do the Bills have an advantage over the Jets?
Problem is a try-hard, but bottom of the league QB will significantly hold this team back - with little to no growth on offense this year because they are playing an unconventional offense to fit Taylor's game.
How can you speak with so much certainty? I mean we haven't even played one REAL game. I'm on the wait and see train, and I honestly feel as though I'll be pleasantly surprised. You might be too.

EJ looked good during preseason at times, hell Peterman and Yates have looked good. Mahomes will be average and the Chiefs will benefit yet again from an easy schedule with a weak ass division that only has one strong team.
Oakland is the best team in that division, Denver and LA aren't very good. Chiefs will more than likely split with Oakland and sweep the other two. 5-1 in their division and then they will go 5-5 outside of their division and end up 10-6 barely making the playoffs only to loose in the first round when they have to play an actual playoff caliber team. Happens every year.
It just makes you wonder if the Bills were in ANY other division would this 17 year streak be a thing? The Chiefs have been using this model for the past 5 years... Never have they been the best team in the AFC West yet they have been to the playoffs 3 out of the last 4 years.

My Eagles friends thin Matthews will only be moved for a starting CB. They really think Agholor is the one likey to be moved before Matthews.
Do think Kendricks gets moved though.

Yates is a solid vet that can make all the throws and will put the ball where it needs to be. He has been around and seen it all. If given an actual shot, Yates will push Tyrod a little. He is a borderline starter and excellent back up. Yates has won more play off games in his career then the Bills have in the past 23 years.

I got a sick feeling in my stomach watching that last drive( Watson to the bills was a perfect match imo). Sheesh he handled that pressure with the poise of a 5 yr vet! Savage looked awful on the first drive if i was O'Brien I'd roll with the rook and take the bumps and bruises cause he is gonna be a good one

I live in Richmond Va and promised my chucklehead son we would go to every game this year depending on his final grades this spring , and his grades/ work completion next fall.
I live in Richmond as well first time getting seasons, planning on going every game and I'm going to film every tailgate/trip with the GoPro. Hopefully I'll bring some good luck bills are 4-0 in games I've gone to😅

Have you guys noticed that all of the practices have been in New Era instead of the bubble as well? I definitely think McDermott is onto something, we need to be a tough, gritty footballl team. Not the faux bullies that Rex promised we would become

He's had great receivers for the two years he's been starting. He's also had one of the best running backs in football.
If Maclin were younger, I'd be all for this - with the belief that we'll have a new QB next year via the draft. Even if it's via FA, I'm confident that McBeano will upgrade at QB next year. I just think we're a couple seasons from being a legitimately good football team. And Maclin will be at the end of his career by then.
So because YOU feel as though we are a couple of years away from fielding a good football team, that should prevent us from getting a GOOD FOOTBALL PLAYER? Okay bud we should just keep this playoff less streak going for 30 years

I live in Virginia but I got seasons for the first time I plan on traveling to the Ralph every home game and recording the experience. Maybe i'll be good luck they're 4-0 in games I've attended. Super looking forward to those 3 december home games while we are "in the hunt"
