I'm pretty sure he does it so the defenders see it as a lump of gold so they focus on the ball and knocking it out instead of his legs and waist for a tackle. By that time he already made the 1st defender look like a fool. We have seen it countless times now and he rarely fumbles.

Getting to .500 would be ideal for me.

Your 1st and 2nd line contradict themselves hardcore, not to mention he is passing for 80yds more a game thus far and has a higher completion %. The 3 games they lost by tally 15 pts so spare the garbage time stuff. Is it his fault he has Hopkins? Lastly, he is coming off major acl injury and playing outstanding.

No doubt, his INT ratio was also pretty high. But this guys doesn't even have 16 games under his belt and is performing amazing. Texan fans must be stoked. I always loved Hughes as a player and still do, he's a beast. Under the undisciplined Rexy teams Hughes would blow some fuses. My post was to give credit to Hughes for putting the team first, he has been playing some disciplined ball, even when being held half the time.

Me as well. Sometimes though man it has off days though which sucks.

Remember when Hughes was good for a 15 yard PF once a game under Rex? Good to him for putting the team first but it is a damn shame what the league is turning into.
