There is so much truth in Bolded. Even in 2018 when being as raw as he was and tossed into one of the worst O-lines and WR corps I ever seen, you could clearly see the insane raw skills there. He improved a ton in 2019 with a completely revamped O-line and WR corp. The media clowns just will not admit they were wrong so they say his 1st 2 season were horrible and disregard he is why we made the playoffs that year.

He's a QB3 is all trying to maybe, maybe become a 2. He looked somewhat competent in preseason as well. Why the hate?

Been watching our squad since 83 and honestly cannot remember a Bills team having as much depth to date. It truly speaks volumes about our FO the last few years. Dude they are desperate on the line. You could do a lot worse by doing nothing than giving up a 6th rd pick for a former 1st rd pick. Lawson played just as average in Miami last year as he did in his Bills career here. The Jets did fine here considering their circumstances.

Covers the loss of DE Carl Lawson for the year there and they were somewhat screwed at the position currently. If Shaq shows up you basically landed a starter for a 6th rd pick which any club would do that is desperate for DE help this year. This is basically another contract year for Shaq as well whom will work with a solid D Head Coach. Lastly, he knows the Bills and Miami pretty well now.

Thurman alone would shred this current D to pieces. Our linebacker core can't even sniff the 90 squad let alone HOF DE. C.Bennet S.Conlan D.Talley Talent wise on D the teams don't compare at all. O's are close I guess but currently lacks a game changer at RB. This current squad has better depth and coaching IMO. It's tough to compare the squads in different ERAs with the all the rule changes the past 30yrs.
